or better yet, a REMASTERED VERSION FOR THE PS4/XBONE
hyuk hyuk
It be weird to see a current gen version of the game considering that Irrational Games got closed down and most of it's staff got laid off.
I'm betting it's "remastered" versions of one or all of the previous games since like GVR said, Irrational essentially doesn't exist anymore and it makes more sense a third party would do a rerelease than make another game. Unless the license now belongs to someone else, which is possible.
The only way I'm interested at all is if Ken Levine's name is attached.
Was playing gods will be watching.
Holy crap never thought pixel art could make me this uncomfortable…
Guys, I've got discount coupons for Clockwork Tales: Of Glass and Ink and for Olli Olli on Steam. Does anybody want them? I had a couple more to give but they've already expired.
What are some good hack n slashers I should try out? Got a PS3.
God of War 3, DmC, the Devil May Cry HD Collection, not really a hack 'n slash but still awesome third person action game: Vanquish, Bayonetta 1, although the ps3 version wasn't as well programmed as the xbox 360 one unfortunately. Metal Gear Rising Revengeance and maybe the first Castlevania lords of shadow, wich is supposedly pretty enjoyable. I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them right now.^^
Absolute shit .
Do the games on Kongregate work for you?
Tons of Flash based hack and slashes that will cost you no money you can use the cash you save from buying games to go towards buying a better PC.
Then just wait for the steam sales and get a bunch of cheap games for less than 20 bucks.
Is anybody interested in Crypt of the Necrodancer? It's a rhythm dungeon-crawler where you have to move/attack on the beat. Really unique idea for a game and what I heard from the soundtrack is really good. It's still in development but there's early access on July 30th
I've been watching some of that play on Twitch in bursts over the past week (they've been running promotions with some streamers). It's a really interesting idea for a roguelike and the ability to play to your collection of music has definitely got my attention. Seems kind of fun, but I'm not holding my breath until I see the price point.
So EA has introduced a new subscription service that is basically their own version of PS+. They offer discounts on new EA titles, trial demos of games, and of course free EA titles as well (right now they're offering most of their recent sport games and Battlefield 4). They're charging $5 a month or $30 a year. However while it's coming to the Xbone it is not coming to the PS4 because Sony refused it, they decided that "it didn't offer the value Playstation gamers have come to expect." So yeah, they just flat out shot down support for a service being offered by a major player largely because I guess they felt it was trying to nudge into PS+, they even went as far as to mention that PS+ is up 200% in the statement they issued, so clearly it is that.
Needless to say people aren't too happy about Sony deciding for them, especially when many consider $30 a year for what EA is offering to not be a bad deal.
I agree, the deal doesn't sound to bad, sony should have accepted it and let people decide if they want it or not.
But at the same time fuck EA.

Which is ironic given all the people who can't stand EA.
Just saw trails in the sky on steam. Guys anyone that couldn't get it because they didn't have the machine to play it on, get to it if you like old school rpgs.
It's really good and avoids most of the tedious stuff of the really old rpgs.
Just bought it on GOG.com. Heard its alot like Grandia which I really enjoyed (but didn't finish).
There was a little bit of uplifting news recently with Crytek devs actually being paid after all this stuff with Crytek apparently going under but it's not looking too good still with Deep Silver recently buying the Homefront IP from Crytek. Devolver Digital (publishers of Serious Sam, Hotline Miami, Shadow Warrior 2013) has shown interest in getting ahold of the Timesplitters IP, which I think would be great. I would also love it if someone picked up the Crysis IP and continued where Warhead left off while ignoring 2 and 3.
Did I just see Agumon hit a digimon into an oncoming train? that is brutal for a digimon game
I am behind any and all attempts to revive Digimon World.
@Cyan:
I am behind any and all attempts to revive Digimon World.
Can someone try to revive my original Digimon machine thingy?
I'm in despair….
I owned an NES video game by the name of Little Samson. I've owned it since 1995. I found out in 2012 that it was a rare game fetching a good $120 on eBay on average. I cleaned it up, put it on there, it sold for $125.
Well... apparently it has been climbing since that and...
It now sells for $500-$1,000....
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK.
Gotta watch out for the ever increasing price of collectibles as time passes by lol
Although realistically you could hold onto something for ages and it'd still keep going up because it won't ever be "common", so don't regret holding it for that long unless you were willing to hold onto it for a few years and continuously watch the price go up rather than converting it to actual cash and value.
Bandai.. it's a smash brothers years. You can add as much dimensions as you like, you are going to have a bad time.
Now you can think about the massive profit the guy you sold it to is making.
What if I tell you it was me?

Vegeta on the other hand agrees with the idea of extra dimensions and the idea of sending people to said dimensions.
Apparently the digimon game is the result of this petition. It seems like they wanted to release a digimon game outside of Japan. I was hyped but after hearing this I think the game will be crap. I loved the Rumble Arena games but this game seems to be something that they've made quickly to please the fans outside of Japan. Ugh.

I like to think the only people who actually buy these super expensive games are collectors, not investors…
I like to think that.
^ But EBay isn't a fairytale world:ninja:.
Had to finish with a Shawkshank Redemption reference.

YUP I was right…except no one wins when it comes to Bioshock 1 being ported to ios tablet. Seriously...what? This is like Squeenix level of lousiness. Meh, maybe it will be also ported to Vita shrug

Do people actually play these games on their phones? The controls alone would be awful.
I could imagine a spin off Bioshock game, like with the pipe minigame, but this sounds horrendous. I've heard of first person shooters on phones, but I've never personally heard of any to be good. I guess if anything, this could introduce more casual gamers to story focused games, which would be nice, but it seems like a waste of time.

This is one of those moments when you say "I hate it when I'm right"
Wow I was bored again today and was searching for a new game in the steam store, anything remotely interesting was early access. It has become hard to find interesting games that are actually finished Oo.
This is bad because I was just playing Mother 3.
