@bouncyhippo:
It is just a bunch of cluster random predictions now
True enough, and most of the crew is no longer even on the island.
This arc has already defeated some of the members of the SHs unlike the other arcs where everyone wins their fights.
The arc isn't over, and while Franky and Usopp were both beaten, both accomplished their goals, so they weren't really defeated (and Usopp even took out a key Dofla officer). Usopp is likely out of things for the arc (much like after the Mr 4 fight in Alabasta), but Franky could easily make a comeback (although, I mean, last arc he defeated 2 of Dofla's officers, and he put up a damn fine showing against multiple officers this arc, so he may not get any more fights).
It seems Don Chinjao's character development is already finished the time he had his flashback with Garp and fighting Luffy.
Yeah, but Oda would need some way to keep him out of things. He's too prominent and in the thick of things to just ignore, and it would be weird to use someone Luffy beat to hype Doflamingo further (although he is stronger now that he has his head shape back, so it's not impossible). I have difficulty seeing him fighting Fujitora or Jesus, too; while I could see him being a good fight for Jesus, it would be kind of out-of-the-blue. I guess perhaps he could fight Bastille while Sabo holds off Fujitora, or something.
We are also forgetting Kin'emon, he is trying to find his friend I think, I think this would be the best match up. After all, Trebol is flammable? I mean he is convered in those flammable slime things. We'll get to finally see Kin'emon's true fighting strength, the only thing we know is he can use flames.
I didn't forget about Kin'emon, but he's way down in the scrapheap, looking for Kanjuro - I feel like the fights will have mostly started by the time he's back with Kanjuro, and I expect the fights with the executive officers to be the first to start. Also, Usopp has firebird stars and exploding skull grass; if being flammable was Trebol's weakness, Usopp might have had a chance. I'm also a bit doubtful that Kin'emon is strong enough to take on an executive officer like that - I suspect he'd be better suited to fighting a regular officer. You could be right, though.
