Whitebeard attacked Marineford too, Luffy attacked Ennies Lobby, Luffy fought Impel down, etc . . . . Those are examples of Conflict situations, it's just Blackbeard attacking, you need to go further then that by establishing intent to distinguish the reasons, intent and manner of those attacks; because 'Mostnamed' is claiming the intent was 'fun'. For example, I could easly argue that Blackbeard attacked Marineford because its an obstacle, marines are his enemy, testing new powers, to increase his reputation, to intemidate, etc. . . they could be several reasons. I'm not arguing that any said reason is false or true, simply that an argument to prove intent needs to established before claiming that just because an event occured where blackbeard was involved it automatically means he was doing it for fun. Regarding the Drum exmaple, our information on that is limited . . . its plausible, I don't disagree with that, we just dont know enough and havent seen enough concerning those particular events to state that blackbeard did it for fun as a fact. There is a difference between opinion and facts, right now its opinion till proven otherwise . . . accept it.

His first commander is having fun with those air attacks that should kill the people in the audience if Light hadn't taken this series's Death God away. He seems to be laughing at the fact that people are getting hurt and potentially dieing. Not to mention BB didn't care about hiring the man who tortured prisoners for fun as well. If BB was in another shonen, I would imagine you would actually see him kill characters on a more regular basis, but Oda likes to make a really dangerous pirate world where people don't actually die, which is why there's these types of arguments going on.

I totally agree. Though your crew mates killing for fun doesn't equal you killing for fun, but I agree with the point of view, I have all along, its the way it was being presented and argued that spurred me to intervene. BB is a son of a gun, I share that sentiment.

Pretty much, the differences between those two statements seems negligible, but its an important distinction.
kinemons torso alone was handling brook.
Yeah, but to be fair, Brook was freaked out by it, and not fighting seriously (even by Brook standards); he was just defending himself from attack. I don't think it's a good indication about how they would perform in a serious fight.

All i was trying to say is that kinemon is quite strong. he might not be Monster Trio strong. all i'm saying is that random DD pirates can't beat him.
Decent chapter, but a bit uneventful. In my opinion, the whole thing with Sugar could be leading to a change of plans regarding Fujitora's handling of the Dressrosa situation. Once the girl is knocked out and people see Doflamingo for who he is, it is quite likeable that he will sort of switch sites or at least decide not to help out anymore. After all, Joker would have no place on the island and the situation there would certainly be more stable with him out of the way, rather than the strawhats. But then again, what happens if Sugar regains consciousness? Will people forget about the toy's and Doflamingo's dark secret again? The Tontota army should just stop being nice and take out the girl for good, lol.

I doubt that, it's obvious that they will fail this time. Sugar will lose consciousness during the time luffy is beating Doflamingo.
People Will be like "how dare you beat our saviour, our lor- SON OF A ****"
What exactly are you doubting, that Sugar will regain consciousness? I don't know either, but I was just wondering what would happen in this situation.

What the…..how did I get quoted for that? I didn't say that! 0_0
@Panda:
Who is probably a toy now?
In a panel can be seen a morialike toy
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Yeah… Nope. In New World Times witnesses have supposedly seen him alive. And his crewmates are sailing around spying on other pirates, selling the info as news.
I saw this toy theory couple of months ago, since there was a picture of a toy that resembles Moria. But in all honesty, how many toys have we seen that look like their real human version?
Nice
So nice i got it too late

He quoted you, but for some reason copy-pasted somebody else's reply over yours.
That or magic.

The same happened with jora conscious again
In a panel can be seen a morialike toy
its not like the toys resemble their former bodys
also wasnt moria vanishing at marineford absaloms doing?
I've been thinking how Diamante's ability doesn't change the weight of the objects on which his ability is used. So that steel cape with which he is fighting with should be pretty heavy. Wonder how fast he is when he discards it. It's hard not to think of Dragonball tournament, in which Piccolo and Goku take their weighted clothings off.

I doubted the situation you described.
I mean Sugar losing consciousness is something that will happen at the end of the arc. i doubted that She'd faint this early in the story.
Maybe I missed it somewhere along these pages (frankly didn't even look, kill me) but I would like to know if there is any kind of pun in "dragon claw".

he is forshadowing he is Dragon's right hand man:ninja:
i wonder if there will be a zoro training flashback, since he's against a tough opponent (AT LAST)

That happened during goku's fight with tienshinhan on 23 tournament if i remember correctly, but goku and pico had them during the raditz story
EDIT: ah vidim da si iz hrvatsk nice @Mostnamed:

Well i doubt it. They haven't shown anyone's flashback and there is already too much happening on dresrosa to focus on flashbacks now. If he want's to show them i hope it will be in another arc.

I am good with any power up Zoro could have developped in training, as long as it has nothing to deal with magic arms and heads popping out of his body.

Oh, that's right, Piccolo started carrying weighted clothings after seeing Goku do it.
Pozdrav
i Know but bitch isn't a french word tho, am I missing something lol? And thnx for the eneru answer
It's just an expression, using "french" as a euphemism for cursing, basically.
I dunno where the guy who originally used it earlier is from, but it's used pretty commonly in Britain, at least.
heh, just saw this. The "excuse my French!" saying was quite popular (at least in 80-90s) in the USA as well. I remember using it when
a-My mom would yell at me for cussing, then it woud be said in the most sarcastic way possible, often stressing the "exxcccuusse me", I would intend it to be highly sarcastic since I've learned the very same words from her
b- If I knew that someone present didn't like cussing but I could think of no other word that would fit the situation. Then I would say it in a more polite way.
At age ten (would be waaaaaay back in 1980) I knew the phrase "excuse my French" meant "pardon me for cussing/using crude language". But most kids who were not exposed to cussing would not know the phrase.
Has it changed for kids today?
Do they (or for the teens/young adults here, you) use a different phrase for that situation?
Give us one example of when Blackbeard killed for fun?

I agree with this, but Akainu not killing Akojii isn't evidence that he isn't evil. It's evidence proving that Akainu, strong as his motives might be, he can show respect to a fellow Admiral even he disagrees with his ideology and\or motives.
Idk if you're interested but you can watch star wars the clone wars season 4 episodes 7-10.General krell is quite a bit like Akainu. Worth watching.

Damn, those were some of the best episodes, which says a lot since none of the main cast was involved. For the most part, anyway.

No, it hasn't really changed, at least not for my part of America. But I don't often use that saying. I usually just refrain from cussing if in a situation where it's inappropriate.

I… have no idea what happened there. I pressed 'reply with quote' and didn't even look to see who it said I was quoting.

Yeah season 3 was full of politics, Good action at the start of season 4.

Next level, hachijyuuichitoryuu - 81 sword style!!! Are you ready for Zoro with 27 faces and 54 arms!?
Haha agreed. That filler fight scene when Dolfy fought Smoker and actually took him a bit of effort to take down Smoker, as a result of smoker sacrificing his body to protect his men, was BS. Some filler fights are cool, definitely.
Doflamingo was having no trouble with him even before he jumped in front of his men. The scene in the manga was like 2 panels so hey kinda had to extend it, other than Smoker jumping in front it was great filler extension. It showcased some of Doflamingo's power and showed how he toyed around with someone who Vergo had to fight somewhat seriously. A bad filler fight is Luffy vs Hody which I will never watch again as it completely ruined the whole point of Hody as a villain (someone who is by all means strong but Luffy is on a whole different level and beat him easily in his own evironment with two attacks).

By far the worst example of filler in a fight was that Grizzly Magnum travesty.

I thought it was the second Red Hawk, which did less damage than the first one did, when it wasn't underwater.
I cant rate DDs powerlevel.
He fodderized law and smoker
Calling it now! Sabo has a tatoo on the right side his face just like Dragon! and further more he got it after Ace died, just like how Dragon got his after Roger's(or Luffy's mom) death. Now that I think about it, Ace and Garp must've met after Ace had became a renowned pirate, otherwise he wouldn't have known about Dragon being Luffy's dad when the rest of the world didn't know, including Luffy himself and the revolutionary leaders(except for Kuma).

Dude's talking about the anime: there was a 2nd red hawk in the anime.

damn , didn't know they did one in the anime
Yeah, it was pretty bad.
The second Red hawk wasn't that bad. Hody didn't experience the full damage because he was overdosing on the steroid pills. Don't slander the power of the Red Hawk. :getlost:

I'm not slandering the power of the Red Hawk, it was just upsetting that they decided that adding in a second one was a good idea. It was an attack that kind of meant something, you know? And they kind of shit on that idea by using it again, to a lesser effect.

They made up scenes from the manga into the Anime. E.g. Doflamingo cut up marines in manga. In Anime he controlled them and made them shoot each other. That alone is a disappointment.
lol it would be fun when Sabo joins the SH when they're targeting BB(final battle or not). Heck, Luffy could've spilled the beans about the plan to take down Kaido and he might join them on that as well, after reporting to Dragon about DR.

This. I felt that whole episode was a weak adaption, noticed some poor animation too. I had such high hopes.
Can someone explain Jesus's elbow attack? I didn't really understand it…
The power he puts into is released as a shockwave at the tip of his elbow. Precise attacks.
So I guess Koala and Sabo both forgot about Hack.
I wonder what they thought when Hack got wasted by Bartolomeo.
Will Sabo feel angry about Bart when Hack comes back restoring memories and all?
So I guess Koala and Sabo both forgot about Hack.

OR Sabo will remember a moment of childhood with Luffy & Ace, then laugh at Hack and say "Dude that's what you get for trying to hit a man in the back when he's pissing! Of course you got a smack down."
Seriously, Sabo may be annoyed for a friend but he's not going have a "I'm gonna break every bone he has" level of angry at Barto about it like I've seen some people suggest. (notice I said some people, not you, its reffering to some comments I've seen all over the place and at others sites)
Let's be real, its not like Barto decimated Hack there and gave mortal injuries that Hack wouldn't survive and recover from. If Hack gets freed from the toy-ified and fights on same side as Barto = against Doffy, then there's a very good change Sabo wont react at all after the toys are returned to their true form.
Look at Luffy and the Franky Family after Eneis Lobby. He was quite friendly with them even after they did do some lasting injuries (he was still bangaged up the next day) to Usopp when they mugged him.
Yeah Barto gave Hack a vicious kick to the face, but then Franky has given Usopp a vicious punch with his steel fist.
Sabo has a similar personality to Luffy and Ace when they were kids, and those two were shown to be able to make friends -or at least be friendly- with past opponents.
Speaking of Ace, I remember that during his search for Blackbeard, he came across Buggy and his crew. Even though buggy was talking about finding and defeating Luffy, Ace turned around and became friends with Buggy. YEah Ace may have thought that Buggy wasn't a true threat but Sabo could likely do the same with Barto esp since he know knows that Barto is a major Luffy-fan.
Well Ace had no personal problem with Buggy and they got to party together.
So I guess Koala and Sabo both forgot about Hack.
I wonder what they thought when Hack got wasted by Bartolomeo.
Will Sabo feel angry about Bart when Hack comes back restoring memories and all?
Why would he be mad? What was Barto going to do, Rebecca him to submission?
