What do you know, this chapter actually became much more enjoyable thanks to the spoilers. Would never have guessed that the "important information" left out is that the Kamaitachi was actually Cavendish.
And good to see it was not the helmet alone that allowed Rebecca to win, you can see her speed also played a part on it, so she managed to at least react a bit to Hakuda movements. Even so, Oda managed to make readers dislike her even more by making her win without any merit a fight that was actually finished by Cavendish.
And to me personally, only the sad tears of not being Manshelly the one who defeated eveyone. I guess I just drop my hopes, it is getting too late to introduce her if she was meant to become as important as I was hoping for.

My favourite part about this chapter is probably Doffy placing the unconcious Law in the Heart's Chair. Really summarized his twisted double natured sadistic side in just one frame.
Sorta like "I was saving this chair for you for over a decade. So now you better sit in it for a while, before i slowly kill you in a horrible way"I like that scene too. But I think he is considering giving him a second chance. I really want Doffy thinking it. Because, you know, it just sits in the spot.
People like him lived his life through pain and agony (his child-self and his own statement) you get more thick-headed. I would love it if he were to forget Vergo and Monet (not that they are dead) and try to convert Law to his side once again.
And I must add why the majority use the forums as 10 posts per page of a thread. I like it being 100.

Watched "The wolf of Wall Street" the other day and i cant stop picturing Cavendish yelling to his first mate to go "GET THE LUDES!!" from the electrified cabin in his half-sunk pirate ship. lol

Interesting turn-out.
I knew Cavendish was strong, but I belived that he would be defeated if a Yonkou Commander shows up.. was wrong.
However, I am still not clear. At first after I saw Cavendish somehow defending Rebeca, I thought he saved her in purpose and he did not stab her in purpose, because Cavendish hated those people who hated Rebeca, and his goal is not the mera mera but the supernovas(Luffy), thus he let Rebeca win. But now I am confused I guess some of you say that Cavendish intended to defeat also Rebeca but he failed..!I personaly think that if Hacuba would have wanted to do so, he would probably. An important thing is that maybe Cavendish turned to himself thus Rebeca is lucky?
Also, I want to know if this Hacuba is a really dark person, and how come Cavendish seems to be so good? What is he going to do, try to really kill Luffy? I would really want him or Bartolomeo joing StrawHats, but if Cavendish is evil, I would definitely want to see Zoro vs Hacuba!!! Holy shit that would be a terrific battle, he is one of those characters I am really affraid of, and he looks the perfect opponent for ZORO.

I remember calling that Rebecca would win without having to compromise her stance on not fighting for entertainment. It's interesting to see how she went about it though. Granted, I did say she'd dodge and use her speed to do so, but I definitely didn't count on Cavendish taking everyone out or being the aggressor towards her. But hell, can the girl move! I'm glad to see it and here's hoping she'll win the rest and prove a point to Doflamingo and the rest of the Colosseum.
Also, Law in the Heart chair. XD Poor boy being forced into that chair even if he doesn't want it.

Conis and Camie seem to be safe. Vivi deserved her hate, but she has received it so it's no longer necessary.

I really liked how Rebecca and Cavendish were handled this chapter.
Cavendish became a lot more interesting - the split personality thing has been done before in OP with Usopp and it's also very much like Lunch from Dragonball, but still a cool solution to the whole thing. Apparently a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde reference, too. Pretty cool that there is an England-inspired country out there.I liked that Rebecca wasn't looked down upon. She legitimately dodged and legitimately took a hit(from a guy, too), but still stood up again. She also took a few contestants out during the block. I remember being annoyed about her "untouchable" fighting style, but this is a nice compromise. You can't say that she passed just because she's a girl either. Everyone else got hit, too. That said with Sabo, Bartolomeo and Burgess, she's probably not going make past them. I'm curious who Rebecca is going to face and how that'll be done.

I love Nico Robin personally, and I think Robin is pretty respected amongst the fans (biggest complaint I hear is about her skin color changing, but that's an anime only thing). Nami…not so much.

I really don't get the hate for Rebecca now. She teared up a few times, so suddenly she's useless and annoying, despite having proven the opposite several times? She's not a amazing character, but has a share of depth and is capable enough.

Great chapter, did not expect Cavendish to have two personalities. It interesting.
Also Doflamingo underestimating the Strawhats a little bit.He not only underestimates them, he even forgot about Sanji and The Heart Pirates or at least didn't mention them.

With supporting character i meant basicly "non strawhat"/"arc-specific female character". I cant think of a single one who people actually liked. Im Not implying that some female characters in OP arent horrible characters (hancock lol)
Robin is my favourite character aswell.

I don't know how Oda will maintain the balance between Hakuba and Cavendish. It seems Hakuba awakens when some serious fight happens then Cavendih sleeps. So it could be an simple algorithm where we can see Hakuba every time he enters an important-enough fight?
perhaps not with Senior Pink, but the thing is he is not the only one, so Franky will be fighting against quite a few of them.

Four stages of reaction to the usual female OP character:

Optimism. She appears, gets initial approval. Everyone generally decides she's pretty all right, but that they'll have to wait to be sure. The pretence is upheld that this character is not being seen as a NN candidate by the readership, but everyone secretly imagines it anyway, because a female NN is overwhelmingly the most popular option.

Disappointment. She gives any insight into her character whatsoever. Whatever the "perfect female NN possibility" looks like, she isn't it for 90% of the audience (because let's face it, Oda doesn't really "do" badass females, at least not yet… they can get to "tough," but "badass" tends to elude them, and "badass" is what this readership craves).

Attack. Provided the character sticks around long enough to keep suspicions of NN-hood going, everyone heaps fanatical abuse on her. Evidently this is done in the hope that Oda will somehow read it, nearly go into cardiac arrest at the thought that a few English-speaking fans dislike his character, and promptly cancel all NN plans surrounding her.

Apathy. The arc ends, the character's NN chances fade, and suddenly she ceases being topical and reverts to the position of pretty much any other supporting cast member, with only echoes of antipathy attached to her.

Meadows was just a knee jerk reaction from a lot of us after the importance of masked fighters like Mr.Store, Ricky and Lucy.
