Personally, I'll be really disappointed if we have another woman and she has the same silhouette/design as Nami and Robin, since the guys have so much variety.

Because its generally considered that the #10 will be a girl for gender balance reasons. And therefore every girl that shows up with either a name or some bare indication of plot relevance is mentioned. This goes double for any girl with some sort of unique appearance (such as Harpy-lady and 3-eyes) since the crew has a penchant for picking up unusual-looking people (who are all men so far).

I keep saying it, but I'm pretty certain Jinbe is going to be the "advanced navigation" guy. Its a role that's well established, that Luffy wanted fulfilled, and was fully explained in the arc that Luffy asked Jinbe to join.

Jinbe is physically strong enough that he should be able to assist the Strawhats in moving the ship, either with brute force or with the assistance of his Fishman Karate. Even if he himself cannot do so, he can call for whale sharks to tow them in conditions where sails, rowing and tides are not enough. Additionally, the whalesharks themselves are, to be frank, the weakest part of Jinbe. Whale sharks feed on plankton and are incredibly gentle creatures. Jinbe couldn't use them as an assault force, nor could he let them arrive in dangerous waters without being there to protect them. The whale sharks can take the Strawhats through, for example, the Calm Belt, but Jinbe would need to be defending them the whole time, which could lead to interesting action scenes.

Oda doesn't count Luffy in those numbered chapters.
I kinda see Luffy as the "coach"(captain) of the "team"(crew) if he really wants to make a paralel with football and yes I know football teams have a captain.

Except not. Brook has a different techniques that utilizes a different type of sword. Likewise, he also has a music motif and has devil fruit powers. Thus these elements differentiate him from Zoro.
Bellamy on the other hand…stretches. That's it. Besides bouncing really fast back at Jaya, he hasn't done anything to differentiate himself at all with Luffy. He is not joining. Period.

With his recent character development and his back story to still be further explored, Oda obviously has plans for Bellamy, most likely resulting him becoming an ally to, rather than a member of, the Strawhats. But I wouldn't be incredibly shocked if he were to join.

We most definitely knew how brook would fight as we had already seen a few techniques by the end of thriller bark. The fight between him and Ryuma showed the essence of his fighting style.

Sorry, I don't come here @weekends. Remember what he did in FI by updating Luffy about what was happening in the world? And the plan to make things in a way that the fishmen would call for Luffy instead of him butting in? The crew is extremely self-centered and Jinbei's dream is to have good inter-species relations, being the only one in the crew caring about what others think.
And in Amazon Lily he was the 'voice of reason' that brought Luffy back from that depression and making him wake up to what the real world is. Jinbei will be the responsable one, and he'll try to widen the scale of Luffy's actions (like what they did in Alabasta, but globally).
He will be the one that thinks about the repercussions of their actions and keeps up with current news.

I could see Jinbei fullfilling the traditional duties of a first mate, though I doubt there will ever be any ranks other than Luffy's among the Straw Hats.

I would like the next crewmate to be Jinbei or Rebecca. Jinbei is already a very developed character and Rebecca is about to be more developped and a new female in the crew would be fine.

I really want #10 to be a girl, but I don't think there are any real indicators that it will be. The SHs have a higher percentage of girls than most crews. Certainly no reason to assume absolutely any girl who appears will join. (And I hope if there is another girl, she has an actually unique design, not typical pretty big-breasted Oda female with one odd feature pasted on.)

The crew should get raises too , right? FI and Pk were one thing , being a secret WG facility and Ryuugu quite removed from the magnifying glass of…well , the world.
Dressrosa seems like a major Country of the NW, I'd like to think at least the Monster trio's current threat level will be fully realized.

I don't see why Zoro has to be higher than him. Zoro's was lower than Robin's was she joined. Though I do think Oda is delaying him joining until Luffy's is higher.

How long ago has the ship of "no more crew members after TS" sailed? Because honestly it doesn't feel right for that luffy would want anyone after the 2 years of training. Before the TS Luffy has many times invited random people / creatures to his crew (and was luckily stopped) and i do not see the same vibe with luffy post TS. The only thing i might except is maybe Jinbei or a pet for the STs but nothing more. As i said before i think that the New World, as we are constantly reminded (at least in the anime that i still watch :ninja: ) that the NW is ruled by the Yonko, is more about Allies, Alliances and allies and territories rather then crew members. Even BB is not recruiting anymore (as far as we know, could be wrong) and is focused on either getting stronger himself or by giving the fruits (from the fruit hunting) to his crew. Actually, i think it starts taking shape as a theme since now it is a bit reversed: the known pirate crews (i.e. the ones with the main focus of the story) stopped recruiting and making alliances while the Marines are the ones recruiting.

I think it is about his tactical mind which he showed more than once already... This together with his monster trio strenght let me think about him as the "Pirate Sengoku", who is/was not only an admiral level fighter praised by WB himself but a tactical master mind as well.
This combination of strenght and tactical mind could seriously let him be one of the most troublesome pirates ever.
That's why I think his bounty will be hold "low" and without proper picture compared to the other 2 monsters (and yeah even Jinbe's, while I still think he will be stronger by a good margin to the time Jinbe joins letting the monter trio be intact) to wait for the perfect moment to show it and the marines recognizing their mistake on understimating the threat of him

But they still don't read it unless extremely necessary (when they knew about Luffy @Marineford, when Luffy knew his brother was to be executed and to see if DD had left the 7bukai), and my reasoning was more about Jinbei's reaction to Luffy not caring, but he may end up just like Nami and say "fuck it, he's not gonna change".
This carefree attitude of the crew and the big war that will start when they reach Raftel can't go together, they will need to care about what happens to the world. We have Robin as a link to the Revolutionaries but she won't try to get Luffy to care. What I believe is that Jinbei will be the one that starts this shift in the SH's. I see him as a guy that does what he has to do, unlike Luffy that does what he wants to, and even though Zoro cares about Luffy not getting owned, Jinbei will be there for the repercussions of their acts, like he argued with Luffy before they went to save FI. But until he has some more panel time I can't say exactly how he is going to turn out.

We're going to run into the revolutionaries at some point.
We have Robin as link, potentially even Sabo as link, but most of all…Dragon as link.
At some point the entire revolutionary storyline will link with the crew.
And nothing at all points to Jimbei being any kind of missing link toward that. -

Don't worry about bounties or Sanji bounty in particular, all you should know is that by the end of one piece Sanji's bounty will be 600+million and since noway he can jump from 77mil to that high then you should know every major arc he will get big increase(like after Dressrosa arc).
