@Little:
Welcome, then.
But.. you do remind me of some user that used way too many commas. :ninja:
The difference being that Frozen's commas are all grammatically correct. Effectively, at any rate; some of them should be periods, or other forms of punctuation, but they at least all go where some sort of pause would naturally occur.
At any rate, so as not to be completely off topic, I had been thinking about people's views on Luffy taking out the giant, and how a number of people were expressing dissatisfaction with giants simply being reduced to hype-fodder yet again. Personally, though, I actually think it serves as a rather handy benchmark for Luffy's progression in fighting prowess. When Luffy first encountered a giant at Little Garden, he ended up effortlessly placed beneath a mountain, and was basically little more than an ant. His next direct encounter with one was not until the war, whereupon he had grown to the point of being able to defeat him in a single blow. However, this involved using Gear Three, which at the time was still, I would argue, a relatively serious move for him, not to mention involving drawbacks to use.
Now, however, we see that Luffy can not only defeat a giant in a single blow, but one that is, for all intents and purposes, completely effortless, showing just how much farther he's come.
Not that I think that was any sort of intended purpose behind the scene; I suspect Oda simply thought Luffy toppling a giant would make for a visually impressive spread, which of course it did.
