Eat spicy food all the time, but I failed the University Chicken 911 challenge since I couldn't even eat one of those things (though I did manage to pull off the buffalo wild wings challenge, but missed the time limit on getting it for free…by 12 seconds. Dammit, but I still got my picture on the wall.). I also cried on the toilet for 2 hours after that, but that's a completely different story.
Indian spicy food is my favorite. It is quite different sensation from the East Asian variety of "spiciness" (as well as the South American variation).

@The:
I'd enjoy spicy food if I didn't have an oral problem I've never gotten a medical opinion on
My mouth is insanely sensitive, so like, vaguely salty things alone can severely corrode the tissue inside and I get awful canker sores by the next day that take a long time to recover. So basically spicy foods are things that I will eat very occasionally, like once between many months, and then regret it for the next two weeks as my mouth heals.
it's probably for the best that I eat so plainly because my mouth can't handle a lot of textures and flavors anyways.
I pity you. I sincerely do. (PS. Do you get a lot of canker sores? I swear canker sores show up monthly after a minor irritations such as slightly nipping my gums or just… spontaneously after some skin peels off my gums).
You should really get some medical attention for it. The are certainly salves that help keep them in control.
