Usopp as a tool? He'll probably fight better this way than his way, actually. Less work, haha.
@Monkey:
Are you trying to argue that chopping off your hands, feet and other body parts is a logical course of action? An intelligent fighter should be able to come up with a lot more solutions, self mutilation is at the bottom of the list of last resources.
Can you think of any? I know, you're no master swordsman, but hey, if you can't think of any either, you can't really knock it.
Could you please tell me how Zoro would be fighting today if he had really cut off his feet in Little Garden? Also look up Zoro's legendary orientation sense, please.
Can you tell me how he'd be fighting today if he didn't happen to be rescued and sat there? He'd probably die anyway, due to blood loss or them killing him. He certainly wouldn't be the fighter he is right now, that's for sure. But he'd stand a chance at living, which is a chance worth taking.
Anyway, the core of Zoro's stupidity is shown when he says Chopper should be able to repair lost limbs. And no, please don't try saying that it's Zoro trusting Chopper's medical skills, it's Zoro being absolutely cluseless.
I think Luffy's the only person who could say that with a serious face. And even so, one bad statement doesn't make him dumb. Even if he was serious, hey, at least it's somewhat true that missing parts can be replaced. He lives in a world of magical pirates and cyborg men.
