Zou and Green Bit are different places, right?

Blackbeard is theoretically intangible, the only problem is his "core" is a singularity, attacks are pulled there regardless of his logia powers. at least if i look at it that way, it makes sense. Which is why Ace was confused when his confirmation attack hit.
I'm really interested to see how his fight against Luffy turns out because of this.
-
@Kyoji:
I'm really seeing Luffy saying: "MY NAME IS MONK…...." and then Sanji shuts his mouth. So a friendship is born....

If the paradigm admiral->inspired to some japanese actor holds trur, shouldn't we assume that the 3rd admiral will be a new character,
or there's some potential admiral among the vice-admirals already seen?A more interesting question would be, if we know that one of the main criteria for an admiral is their counterpart with a Japanese actor… which actor will be portrayed next? ¿cuál es su respuesta~
-
Wonder is Law's crew is doing anything of value or if they're just dicking around at the all-female bears island
-
The blindguy as the special japanese actor face, so he's an admiral. Period.

@wolfwoof:

Hey now, bears need loving too.

I'm sure Law has them doing something constructive.
Sachi: "Bepo, levántese usted perezoso~"
Bepo: "callar, usted no es el jefe~"
-
@Panda:
Hey now, bears need loving too.
But only Bepo needs to give love to them… I would be seriously worried about Law's crew if they had some kind of crazy fetish.
-

The legendary Beat Takeshi.
-
Sigh, never change chapter discussion threads~
First second I saw this guy, I knew he'd had to be Fujitora, just cause he's designed the same way as the other admirals. But hey, its not been confirmed yet…pffft
I'll throw in my own wager, if he isn't Fuji, then I'll remove everything pony related from my personage for a month.
-
But only Bepo needs to give love to them… I would be seriously worried about Law's crew if they had some kind of crazy fetish.
Worried? Nah, it's to be expected when they have a captain like Law, who probably has all sorts of BDSM fetishes. Law probably corbatas mujeres hasta y lame sus extremidades~
-
It seems that the island looks like Spain (flamengo dancers, hair style) and a bit italian (puppets and pasta).
Fun and cool chapter. Monosuke's expressions with the ladies crack me up.
-
sorry if anyone mentioned this:
pandaman is on the bottom panel when luffy and co. just entered dress rosa. LOL
-
A more interesting question would be, if we know that one of the main criteria for an admiral is their counterpart with a Japanese actor… which actor will be portrayed next? ¿cuál es su respuesta~
Watari Tetsuya, Mifune Toshirou, and Ken Takakura would be a popular bet.
Kitano "Beat" Takeshi is among the same generation and super famous, but IMO he's too active on TV to be a viable model. -

So everyone on Law's crew is (perhaps not so) secretly a furry, is what you're saying?
That could be brilliant, actually. It solves the mystery of Bepo, and Pekoms for that matter. They aren't some new race or anything, they're just really delusional furries, and the One Piece world happens to have amazingly realistic costumes available.
…I'm sorry, I'll go to the ridiculous theories thread now.
-
Another proof about the similarities between Dressrosa and Spain, buildings have Gaudi style.

Talk about attention to detail.
FUCKIN' ODA
I have such a man crush on you.

The admirals are closely watched by the govermenr, they always wear marine clothes all the time..
Is he the 7th schichibukai
or a Former Roger Mate?
Roger mate, who knows, I still saying it the dude is a bounty hunter that want DD's head on a platter, he didn't go after DD before because DD was affiliated with the WG… Daran
Yea…I know Garp didn't see the attack coming...that was...kinda the point......of my post.
Oh so his CoO was too busy winning his gambling? Well that explains it then.
he didn't see the attack coming or he didn't give a F* about that shitty attack and you misunderstood, I ment that he's CcO was activated and working fine because he was winning even thought those guys were hella loud

Yup they are definitely brothers
Ahh they look pretty much alike, that's probably his younger brother who decided to be a….
Whoa there buddy, usted no entiende~.
I never stated that that guy was the other samurai. I stated that he could be the unnamed admiral
You're cracking me up with that Spanglish
@Low-fi:

Yes, It is

I'm actually more worried by the fact if they turn out to be it, zachri crazyness will go to another level.

Wow, kudos to those who found out about the Fujitora thing, I feel like if I've been spoiled for the next chapter now.
Still, great find and now we can be worried about Luffy's group. Luckily the guy is blind so he didn't identify them… yet.
I'm surprised to see him so soon and in this place though, I thought he would be stationed in Green Bit under Smoker's advice. -
I just realised… should there be another new Admiral as well as Fujitora? If Akainu has been promoted to Fleet Admiral and Aokiji has left, that leaves two empty Admiral positions, one of which is Fujitora
-
What i've been wondering is that Oda knows we know he bases his admirals off famous actors, would he use one to troll us? Though i get it's a question only Oda could answer.
Also with all the debate we've had over Luffy's strength, he told the blind man he seemed pretty strong, i wonder if he'd return the favor and be like "not bad yourself, almost as much as me". Which also leads to the question… in the New World, what are the chances of meeting somebody strong that isn't a pirate or affiliated with a powerful organization? Fuji- Blind guy could probably assume they're pirates, so I'm excited to see what his reaction will be.
-
Pretty good chapter when they mention talking dolls the first thing i thougt after pinocchio was this:
You know these living dolls can explain why bobbin is so weird looking even for one piece standards.
Now the disguises were hilarious, as it was chopper reaction to not have one of the monster trio with them.
And kizaru twin brother (i'm caling him that until we know his real name) is as destructive as him perhaps they share the same job:ninja:. -
@Low-fi:

There don't have to be 3 admirals.

There are definitely 3 Admirals in order to maintain the balance between the 3 great powers the World government cares so much. You could say that it was confirmed by Brannew in chapter 700.

1/10 for your effort.

I'll take the original Miyamoto Musashi any day of the week though, Mifune is awesome.
I'm still trying to find a good stream of Drunken Angel fingers crossed

Imo the 3rd admiral will be a shooter: so far we didn't see a shooting admiral.
I think it could be a good way to differentiate the admirals based on their fight's style rather than on their fruit (logia like it was before the time-skip) .
Aikainu is mostly hand-fighting (good match for Luffy)
-Blind guy: sword fighting, match for Zoro
-Kizaru: seems to prefer kick-fighting, good match for Sanji
-new admiral: shooter..Is there any good japanese character that would fit as a shooter?
-
Is Google's culpa
Off topic to the chapter, but relevant to this thread.
So long as you're keeping this up, my mental image of you is going to be something like this:
http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/phoenixwright/redd.png
If there's any other Ace Attorney fans out there, I think they'll understand where I'm coming from.
–------------
And let's not start with the whole back and forth on the number of admirals again, shall we? This thread is already a fair bit derailed not even a day after chapter release, but at least it's been in an amusing way so far. That really wouldn't be, at all.
-
Is Google's culpa
Next time use the dictionary that's what i use to make sure i don't make an error but is a flawless method.
-
Well it looks like Oda may be breaking the Logia DF the admirals have, no? It seems paramecia like.
-
I was just remembering when Akainu were introduced at Marineford. The nickname related with "Dog" and a single frame focusing on his ears was enough for me (and I guess for a lot of you guys) to think he was blind. Since it was revelated he weren't, then I've been pretty sure it was matter of time to introduce a character blind.
Now I've a more relevant question: he used the sword, didn't he? So, it's plausible assume that the power is directly correlated with the sword (maybe the sword itself holds the feature)? Not seem like Law's ability that uses the sword as a complement. What you guys thinking about that?
-

I'd say compliment really.

Isn't the blind guy wearing Geta? Wouldn't that rule him out as being an admiral?

Buuuuuuuuuut Why?

Hmm, after last chapter, i said that i definitely want to see Shintaro Katsu as Zatoichi and this chapter he appears, so i am gonna bet my money on Mifune as Kikuchiyo , Takashi Shimura or Tatsuya Nakadai
-
Funny. Exaggerate all you like. I made an observation about the swords and wanted to share with the community.
its not an insult to you…that thought really crossed my mind since i liked your observation about the swords....just made my post appear sarcastic since i know its farfecthed (my idea that is)
-
blind samurai. throgh back to zatoichi. loved that. I love the alliance . luffy juust ignors law half the time. momo is stilll a lil perv like his dear old dad.lol Pandaman on page 10 when they arrive on dress rosa.. And all these toys and definily pointing to DD having a pupppet or string fruit.

I mentioned something like that before but I give two examples.
We have Kinemon that can produce fire with his sword and we have the guy from WB's crew that can produce lighting, so why not having somebody that can produce gravity as well?
-

I think it's an interesting enough point regarding speculation about what sort of ability he might or might not have that I'm surprised I haven't seen it brought up before your post.
Like you say, he very clearly was drawing his sword before doing whatever it was he did; I would even say focus was given to this fact. It certainly makes it seem that it was involved somehow, which kind of throws a wrench in speculation, at least to me. I can think of a number of potential abilities that could explain him making that huge hole, along with the 'feeling heavy' line, but not sure how any would involve the use of his blade.
-
Since he looks strong, and that's excactly what Luffy said for that guy, I think he might be the new Admiral!

Maybe his sword ate the DF
