Can't he use that money to fix his teeth then? I get nightmares once I see that face of his.
Oh, come on… That's a really low blow and you know it. Honestly, Fornever is not a bad guy and some of his points are good.
However, I do disagree completely about this chapter. It was terrible. This is NOT the same thing as Law beating Vergo in one hit because Haki is an in-story canon factor that plays into everything. Laxus taking out Jura is the equivalent of Luffy taking out Shanks, and it is utter bullshit.
Though part of me feels bad the anime is ending, at the same time I really can't stomach seeing an anime I actually enjoyed cover some of these latest chapters... Well, there's supposedly some "good news" coming from Hiro once the anime ends, so we'll see.
FT's anime ending is a lot less awkward due to there not realy being an ongoing plot they setup and then leave hanging.
Honestly, I'm happy this happened. Get rid of the trash so we can make room for the good! I just wished Hajime no Ippo anime had continued…
is it ending for good or is it just on break

I really hope it ends on this page. Biggest trolling ever XD

I'd think it would just be on a break, given how close the manga is to the anime (and, given what's been built up so far, there probably wouldn't be room to insert a filler arc between this arc and the next one).
KOL seems to be Happy about the news LOL
mehh good riddance. R.I.P. Fairy Tail

Given the title of the last episode…it probably will. And that might point more to a Gintama-esque hiatus rather than a Bleach.
Heh y'know if this anime does come back, two to one most of you will be going "NUUUUUUU!"
But yeah I had a feeling this was gonna happen, they were moving much too fast with the manga's pacing that, even with the filler arc, would quickly catch up to it. Still unlike Bleach, at least they didn't decide to go the bullshit route of just making a story and trying to sandwich it in the middle of the ongoing plot. Plus it might help Mashima concentrate more on the manga, he really seems like he was trying to speed though his plots so the anime could have more material and hope they would expand on it (Case in point, the Edolas Arc, some of the extra stuff does help it a bit). And hey they got a movie out of it too, so I say they did good enough for the time being.
I like the anime
but when gintama's going on break, didn't they announced it going on break? not end it? because i remember reading it somewhere that they taking a break for 1 year.
Most likely I'd say it's not coming back. The FT anime's ratings have been really bad (worse than Bleach's, which was on the same network) and although TV Tokyo seems to have been okay with that for this long, I guess they decided to pull the plug after all this time. Plus the director of the series recently was announced as being attached to a new series coming out this Fall. With the anime originally meant to only last 48 episodes it's pretty fortunate for the anime fans to have made it this far too I guess.

Awww….But the following chapter was Ryuuzetsu Land! No fanservice-laden send-off?!? That's not the Fairy Tail way! D:
I'm sure that'll be made into an OVA sooner or later.

They could easily say that "Fairy Tail" anime ended, but continue it after a while with a new name "Fairy Tail: Friendship and Shit", with a new cast of animators and directors.
Sad to hear anime is going. One of the better anime adaptations there is. Very good pacing, unlike other long running ones. Even had great filler. I really liked it's filler it had after the time skip. Thought it was as good if not better than the Bount arc in Bleach's filler was.
Hiro did post in his twitter about some good news though, so maybe its just on hiatus or something.
edit: btw if they do continue later, do you think Lucy will have new VA. I thought i heard her VA wanted to quit being a VA not too long ago.

I think Mashima has become a bit paranoid about the manga industry, he wants to make it big like Toriyama since he was never able to have a long running anime. However, he relied too much on cliches and fan service later on in the series to retain fans. He needs to go back to his roots to restore his former glory because 2012 Mashima is an empty shell of early 21st century Mashima.

LOLOL Even the people doing the show want to quit? Hashashasha
I never heard that. I know Aya Hirano's music career was in shambles a few years ago and she wasn't going to be given many voice acting roles. I'm pretty sure Lucy is her biggest current role, she really doesn't have that many others left to do nowadays. If she wanted to quit voice acting I'm not really sure what else she'd do…

She wasn't going to just quit a role, was going to drop out of business.
But of course that could have just been a rumor or a random comment made during her big scandal days and screw ups. Wiki shows she still has new jobs every year in the business so I'm guessing she is staying in the business. Probably because she found out she couldn't do anything else.
wait, it's only the anime that's ending, and not Fairy Tail itself?
booooring, I don't give a shit. Call me when FT ends, and Mashima starts a new manga with a protagonist named Aki or Fuyu.

Aki already exists in Hiro's previous work called "Monster Soul".

LOL
Get ready for the female protagonist of Hiro's new work, "Book of Love," Haru.
I hope that next chapter Erza quotes Natsu

Maybe I'm missing something, but he already used "Haru" in Rave Master.
Well, that new chapter was dull. They did a tough group pose though.
hmm, i see that Mashima and Kubo are still competing with each other
Pretty uninteresting and holy shit Hiro you actualy expect us to care about Lecter ? Realy ?
I am glad Minerva finaly went down considering how much of a non-character she was, and also that we didn't have to suffer through a fight with Sting.

I care. I thought it was heartwarming.
how did they get lector? And i still don't like how erza won, but i guess this was an outcome that nobody expected… scratch that. One that we all expected because this is fairy tail.

Such a horrible chapter.
Lyon gets owned.
Erza becomes the worst character.
Sting gives up after hype once more.
Sting and Lector meet.
StingxMilliana possibly the newest couples.
There are no words.
Oh. And how long before we blow up half the moon?
I'm still baffled that we are evidently done with Laxus' father.
Come on Sting, all the hype for sabertooth went to nothing
i really hope that they go back in time, change the past which in turn effects the future and causes them to lose horribly
You can feel the apathy and desire to just get this over with oozing from the pages. Not that I can really blame that sentiment. Now everything can go ahead and be destroyed by the dragons. It'll be a fitting period for this overlong and bloated arc, and a handy commentary on the series as a whole. Though I will admit team poses were well-drawn and whatnot. Fairy Tail at least still has its art going for it.
But why the hell is Romeo included in the "gotta go and beat Sting!'' montage?
how did they get lector?
He was seen underneath Millianna's cloak a chapter or two ago, with the implication being that she inadvertently snagged him whilst in Minerva's pocket dimension thingie.
Woooow…was that chapter horrendous.
I'm so happy the little cat is safe!!!
Although I read FT sparingly so I can understand the public's luls, I must admit that that panel with the five of the "posing their friendship" in front of Sting was breathe taking. It really made stop and think "Had only this been a great series. Such a waste of good character designs"
Capítulo todavía mal~

I would guess the other way around. While she was in the other dimension, the cat grabbed onto her and snuck out.
But why the hell is Romeo included in the "gotta go and beat Sting!'' montage?
A more fitting question would be: who even remembers he was presented as the main character of this bloody arc when it began, and even "foreshadowed" as such terribly ?
Yeah, guy sure had alot of impact on things since then.
Hey. Romeo got a lot of development. Remember when he learned how to smile? And that time he said stuff?
The Lector thing was dumb. Plain and simple. Quit shoehorning in this stupid cat.
The art is good as always though….But eh...As much as Mashima would like to hint Sting could have taken them. I still have my doubts he'd win. Sting lost due to how awesome they posed. He'd be dead in the JJBA universe.
Personally, I liked this chapter. Minerva finally gets the come-uppance that she's desperately needed, Lyon's defeat was pretty funny, and Sting realized that maybe his plan to wait until he's the only person left aside from the Fairy Tail members and challenge them all to a fight when they're all around Natsu's level or significantly stronger wasn't the best idea. Sure, they'd be injured from fighting everybody else, but when it's five on one, and he'd already lost to Natsu (who was holding back significantly at the time), it's clear that it wouldn't work out.
I never bought the hype for Sting to begin with (it was apparent when he said that he could have defeated Acnologia single-handedly that he was arrogant and significantly over-estimating his own strength), so I just took the whole thing lightly and I enjoyed it for what it is. Also, I don't know if I was the only one who thought this, but when I saw the page where Sting and Lector were running towards each other, I figured the next page would be a dragon showing up and blasting them. Maybe Acnologia doing something similar at the end of the S-Class Exam arc just made me think that.
Aw, hell with it. The series doesn't even have its "trying-desperately-hard-to-be-a-good-manga" charm any more. Almost feels like Mashima's getting bored with it.
What a shitty chapter, everyone wins with one hit ko's and we get a over dramatized reunion with a cat nobody cares about, hiro spent way too much time on that scene, ugh.
