About Luffy's bounty, I think everyone just got carried away, and mistook a bunch of normal pictures in the newspaper for the Straw Hats' new wanted posters. The images we saw earlier were regular images from the commotion at Sabaody, and because it all happened relatively recently, I think the World Government has yet to actually update the crew's bounties and find suitable pictures to replace the old ones.
We (somewhat) saw it before in a colorspread a few chapters back (the one where it showed all the NW players)

In context it sounded like you were stating the fact that Jinbe's disbanding was based on the possibility that he was offered to become a warlord. I was just clarifying that it the priority was getting the crew clean slates.
Although I don't think it matters and its a coincidence considering Boa Hancock has a crew, although we don't know if the crew was always there. Moria also technically had a crew, as does donflamingo. So I don't think warlord means alone. I'm curious if buggy is still with his crew though.

Great chapter yet again (gotta love the post-arc chaps). Things are bubbling up, going on to boiling point says Mr Kuzan the Wanderer. I think he's in a transition and starting to learn more about life, like what justice really is and the way to achieve things without that communist approach. My guess is he'll help the Revolutionaries in the future… I mean his character has always had that "anti-gov't" aspect to it and it seems to have grown stronger. Smoker has it too but he's still in his stubborn ways or trying to make it work with the marines (even with Tashigi crying about it all the time).
Donflamingo is a crazy fuck, I'd hate to be looking at him in the face, he looks madly unpredictable. But Kuzan could give a fuck really. I'm with the ones who have labelled him a noble, and this chapter makes that even more possible (maybe not a World Noble or he wouldn't even need the Shichibukai title right?).
We're at a point where the show has been setup with DD's decision... now it's back in Law's court. Luffy is just having fun with it all. People say why is he reading the paper... well that's simple, he's absorbed in this alliance and the war games. If he didn't care for it he'd probably be sleeping or eating while the rest would be around the paper. But as I said Luffy seems to be having a lot of fun (which is what he wanted his voyage to become PK to be about).

There's the view that the ship is near an island, I'm assuming it's Greeen Bit, the stopgap island to get his crew before heading to Dressrosa and maybe even leaving Ceasar there for Doflamingo to pick up while they head the back way and destroy the fruits.
They will have something else, they can show a big reveal the last few pages of the chapter.

Great chapter, funny and informative. Additionally as of today even the last promille of chance Law were a bad guy is gone since Bepo is on his wanted poster the same way Usopp is on Luffy's.
Mm, the person visiting DoFla should be someone important as the chapter ends with his face is conceiled and not with thrilling moment. I guess, either this is some one powerful from his allies or it's some one from Kaidou's crew.
Anyway, I wonder what DoFla's resignation will do to the world power balance. Usually this a chance for Oda to upgrade the power of the Shichibukai once more but that got a bit difficult after so many were defeated or left. So the desiciaon concerning this missing seat is going to show us the way the story goes.

Doflamingo seems different than other antagonist who have appeared in the series so far.
I mean… He seems so...chill. Like someone said, he's not throwing a fit or anything.
He even went to acquire Baby 5 and Buffalo, instead of leaving them because they failed.
Imo all of this will just lead to DD becoming a Yonko somehow.

I know it would be asking a lot but I hate when revealing information gets cut off mid sentence (what happens when they give back CC) or we only get the end of the dialogue (Kuzan and Smoker), I know, suspense and all, but still…

Look at the last pic again. The Law Mushi had its eyes closed when it was ringing and then "clank/click" Dofla picked it up and you can see Law Mushi´s eye opened = picked up.
So next time we should see another call or Oda skips it and we get the arrival on Dressrosa already (he pretty much packed all of the potential jokes into the last two chapters). Maybe we´ll get World Government/Sakazuki/Kaidou reactions to what is happening, a small Shanks and Blackbeard reaction would be nice to have, as well…but that´s unlikely as we did not get ones upon the "revival" newspaper article.
We know Law wants to destroy the SMILE factory but the knows Dofla is still on Dressrosa. I don´t think Law would want to give back CC face to face with Dofla, I mean that would be like asking to get cut right there. He could feint by putting half of CC somewhere and deliver the other half, but that doesn´t make too much sense either. The only reason for him to give CC back is to ask Dofla to go against Kaidou with them, again no sense (anticlimactic). Damn just throw CC into the ocean, will you?
OK, we actually should get a reaction from Sakazuki next chapter, so that the whole crisis is a larger scale one (we have to see Dofla being a bit under pressure or else he´ll just attack Law/SHs a second after he gets CC back). I mean we know the last time the Government lost 2 Shichis they were unnerved, now Dofla is gone and they have no clue what Law is up to. The balance of power is shifted. I believe that´s what Kuzan was talking about this chapter, first real test for Sakazuki.

Seems like RPG-Time inspired him to do a medieval theme for this one, and I love it. Fascinating how each of the Straw Hat's personalities fit into so many different settings, even if Usopp really steals the show here. Beautiful art as always, and at this point I really prefer a CS over another episode of Caribou's dragged cover story.

Heh, clever Doflamingo. He realises that he has no chance to beat a former Admiral, so he tries to sneak the finishing blow in while he still can. Yet one little flash-freeze from Kuzan was enough to make him heavily pant and his subordinates fear for his life. All while having his hands in his pockets. I usually don't like to use the word "manhandled", but I must agree with Wolfwoof there. Still, I think Oda did a good job at showing that Doflamingo isn't some small fry who gets oneshotted just like that (similar to Jinbe who blocked Akainu's magma fist with one hand).
Right, the moment Aokiji started to talk I KNEW that reading Mangapanda's version would be like staring at blank pages. His dialogues are already hard to comprehend, but without Aohige or CCC the whole conversation would have been a pain to follow. Thanks again for the quick translation. Anyway, I like how Kuzan didn't pay any attention to Doflamingo at all, but tried to save Smoker immediately. I was aware that they have a special connection, but as of this chapter it seems like they have a real bond (_"It's me, Smoker")._I wonder how Smoker will react to all of this, and more importantly, which conclusion he draws for himself after his talk with Aokiji (and basically everything that happened at Punk Hazard).
So Doflamingo is exceptional when compared to Boa Hancock, which can only refer to their position as the King/Queen of their respective islands. So him being of noble blood is a real possiblity now, but what difference would it make? In the end the Admirals will chase him down, the same way they would try to capture Hancock. I assume that Kuzan refers to his connections to the underworld, that's the only reason I can imagine that warrants the use of more than one Admiral (assuming that they are still the elite force of the Marines and few in numbers). Talking about Admirals, I think it is noteworthy that Kuzan still considers Akainu to be a force of justice who will act when necessary, even if his methods are questionable. I really can't wait to see the new guard and I bet we will get to see them in chapter 700. At least that's the only way how it could blow me away, if it's really supposed to (like Stephen implied).
Crew interaction, loads of it. The chapter was already filled with badassery, but the moments on the ship are always my favorite. We finally have Kinemon commenting on Ryuuma, and the whole Momonosuke joke cracked me up. Personally I really don't understand the complaints, to me everything seemed perfectly in character (considering that Nami is basically a Belemere 2.0 and Robin treats Chopper in a similar manner ever since). The fanservice is one thing, but I guess I got used to it over the years.
All in all this was definitely one of the better chapters, and 700 will have a hard time to top it in terms of reveals & comedy.
By the way…there is one thing left I would really like an opinion on... I'm seeing things here or is someone or something observing Sanji and Kinemon...?
