Why do you keep making sarcastic comments in an attempt to act superior? Maybe "froze up" wasn't the right choice of words. But he was clearly visibly intimidated.

It certainly made him think twice because he knew Beckman was fast enough and accurate enough to take him out, that is why I think Luffy would have a shot against him, I get the feeling that Kizaru relies on his speed as much as anything and anyone that can match his speed or anticipate his actions could take him (not easily fo course).
Kizaru for all his speed and pew pew lasers is by far the weakest of the pre timeskip-admirals, in my opinion anyway.
You're probably right, but if you think about it, he's the best example to use considering he's currently the only known person with the rank Admiral.
