I am also of the opinion that Sunny might need to rise to the occasion the same way Merry did. After all, SH consider their ships part of the crew as well and Sunny has to overcome her battles too.
I think Pudding is genuine. I bet in the end, Sanji will tell her to wait for me and I'll come back when my adventure is over. This will probably create some added gag about Sanji trying to stay true to Pudding. Their relationship could become like Kaya & Usopp.
Jinbe will never betray Luffy. He might try to stop him from doing something crazy, but we all know in the end it will be useless.
How is Jack going to be rescued by Kaido if all members of his crew are devel fruit users? I can only think of two possibilities, 1) he has a submarine, or 2) he will be resuced in one of those cover stories by one of our fishmen friends who come across him by chance.
The suggested theory that Sanji's family is part of the mafia makes sense. Given Sanji's history of smoking, it's funny that his last name has the word "smoke" in it.
I think Sanji's family found out about him during Cesar's broadcast where we saw members of the underworld. After they saw him during the broadcast, then maybe they approached the government to cut a deal. Because when the poster was printed, it already had "alive only."
All of this suggests that we might have already seen the silhouette of his family members during the underworld broadcast. His family members could be one of those pictured in chapter 692: http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/692/8.
If you say first mate then fail cuz Oda showed Shanks recruiting Yassop first the same way Luffy got Zoro and Roger got Rayleigh.
All I'm saying is- until Oda says so himself and give this people their position then we can't just assume- He show shanks recruiting Yassop first but treats Benn as the first mate and why is that?

Don't want to get into the first mate discussion, but wanted to clarify that Oda did not show Yassop being recruited. Anime is not canon. Chapter 25 is where Luffy tells Ussop that Yassop is part of Shank's crew and there is no flashback of recruitment there.

Until now I thought that Viz was not competing properly. But at this point, they are doing what they can, and the fans should support them.
For people who are in the U.S., there is no excuse not to support Shonen jump. Twenty six dollars a year is affordable so please support the industry.
. . . I will say this for Oda, the way he showed Luffy going through the whole save Ace character arc gave him some depth with Luffy's character. He should bring in a new female lead and do the same thing. Instead of having a bad past, you see her go through, then she has a serious change of character. Like maybe she's a terrible bitch when she meets the strawhats, entire family gets killed in front of her but she manages to escape, she roams around in tears falling apart crippled with guilt, luffy saw the whole thing happen but one of the villians had him with seastone hand cuffs, Luffy escape and finds her about to hang herself or something, he offers her a chance to get revenge on them, then they go, storm the fort kick some serious ass, she gets a fat bounty , joins the strawhats a way nicer person who often stares out at the sea.
There is still jewelry bonny as female characters go in OP, and we yet have to find out what happened to her and whether SHs are going to come in contact with her.
Is it wrong for me to ask why you think of Cariboo ask a psychotic killer? Also I don't quite understand how using Ace is stupid. They we're both young upcoming pirates who sought out a well known pirate to attempt to kill. They're personalities may be different and how they planned their attacks are also different however, the desire to kill a well known pirate is still there. Also I have no problem with people wanting anyone to join and posting reasons and speculating how they should or why they should join.
