@Bill:
I don't really think so…... did you see the end of Jedi when Luke burned all armor? Where is the supposed guy going find remnants of the armor when it's in ashes.
That idea may not be the best idea from a storytelling standpoint, I just came up with a scenario off the top of my head that would be the only plausible explanation I'd even accept, but "How would the new guy get the armor" is one question that the new movie wouldn't have a single solitary problem answering. In Empire, we see Vader's helmet being taken off and put back on, and in plenty of EU stories, we see Vader's costume get damaged. Even in the good (IE: Official Canon) ending of Force Unleashed, you half destroy Vader's armor in the fight.
So, options are:
A: Vader had spares that one of the Empire's generals snuck in and stole
B: Vader's Armor was manufactured by someone for when the old ones broke, Dude just stole the plans.
C: Someone with all the ingenuity of a real world hardcore fan reproduced the suit from propaganda pics.
Vader along with the Emperor were the faces of the Empire, they were used to scare the people into submission. There were probably pictures of Vader everywhere. If somebody in our world with modern day real world tech could reproduce Vader's Armor with nothing but pictures of it, time, and a glue gun, someone in the Star Wars universe could do it easily.
The idea is sketchy and would be in need of some serious thought and polish before it even approaches something that would be good for the movie, it's just something I mentioned offhandedly, but of all the things potentially wrong with it, that's the one thing that's not.
