I haven't posted here in ages… HI... uh
I have a question about Red Hawk. I was under the impression in the manga that what made the fire from the attack was that Luffy's arm was armored and moving so fast that it basically created some kind of friction that caused the fire... something like that idk :P
If you look in the manga, it doesn't look like his arm catches fire at all:

At least I thought it was just gear second steam… There's just an explosion when it hits. But maybe I was wrong I guess... I'm just a little confused, how does Luffy's arm catch fire exactly? Someone said it was a gear second thing, but I don't quite understand. Wouldn't that... damage him? Yea I know it's just a manga but I was wondering if someone could explain it to someone who's a tad confused.
having said that, Red Hawk was directed very well. I do kinda feel like the impact of it came a bit fast, but the homage to Ace was so touching that I can look past that. I'll admit it, I teared up a bit at Luffy's "I'll never let anyone die again!" and then showing Ace... Second I like how they had it switch back and forth between Luffy and Ace, that was a nice touch
EDIT
lol, hi DJ-PON3, what's up? XD
