They can roam the entire world, We first see Mihawk in East Blue.
There is no location called Strong World, that is the title of a movie(10th?) and chapter #0. The Grand Line cirlces the globe and has nicknames for the two sections that are devided by the Red Line (the land mass that makes the giant wall). Pirates enter the first half of the Grand Line (called Paradise) is entered by the Reverse Mountain. Pirates going through the Fishman Island under the Red Line to enter the second half of the Grand line, called the New World.
