I've seen similar posts for Naruto and OP and many popular anime. It's a fan thing, of course a fan is gonna praise their favorite series as much as they can. I'm not surprised about these posts at all. I haven't read Naruto that much and dislike Bleach at this point, but I'm okay with people liking them.
There's a huge difference between praising your favorite series, and calling your favorite series the end all of shounen manga when all you've read are 3.

I still don't mind it because I did it a lot myself back when I wasn't as much into manga as I am now. Hell, I even still do it with OP occasionally even though I know it really isn't the best series ever. People on the internet are very extreme about anything. Youtube comments are probably the best example. That's why I try to not take things like this seriously anymore and stay indifferent to them. For example many OP videos I've seen has someone saying it's the best series ever, though it probably isn't.

It can't be gore or anything like that since Bleach's fights are so badly drawn that fighting is only strongly implied to be happening, much less any blood. Limbs get cut off sure, but dismemberment is about as common in Bleach as it is with my LEGOs I had as a kid.

Well, you can't exactly tell from few posts of a user what their tastes are like, but yeah these kind of purposefully ignorant people are probably the worst part of a fandom.
As for the "deep" crowd. I feel like Elfen Lied is actually the most common in terms of praise. I don't like when people think it's deep, when in truth it's pretty good art/animation, great music and poor execution in terms of everything else. It's very manipulative in a mean way, which I feel many series like Angel Beats or Clannad are. The moe stuff in general.
Eva I sort of understand, but I'm still very at middle with that series. It's a very frustrating series, with certain merits and I'd write a wall of text about that, but I suppose that's not for this thread.

That reminds me (though I'm sure someone's mentioned it before) of how horribly inconsistent aging is with shinigami. On one hand, you have Gin and Byakuya being kids in the Vizard flashback, and adults in the present timeline. Over the exact same period of time, Hiyori (the short Vizard who was bisected by Gin) didn't age a day, and Shinji looks younger in the present than he does in the past (seeing as in the present, he looks young enough to pass as a high school student). What's up with that?
I agree, it makes no sense. It was fine to have different aged Shinigami in the present (Yachiru the child vs Yamamoto the old man), but the flashback alone messed everything up. I suppose while Kubo was drawing TBTP, he forgot to keep everyone's appearance (which dictates relative age) in mind.

I still have yet to figure out a theme Bleach is going for. Is it follow your dreams? No, Ichigo… actually, nobody has a dream or a goal they're working to. Is it believe in yourself? Considering Ichigo needs special training to beat the bad guy over and over, he doesn't need to believe in his abilities, he can get new ones. The closest to a theme this series has is fight for your friends. That isn't a theme, that's a character trait that all good people share.

However, the new issue showed that his plans has change because of what he saw inside Naruto's heart. I am not clearly sure what he was referring too though.

I'm currently reading Naruto, and despite all of the shit I give it, it interest me. It gets me to read every week so Kishi must be doing SOMETHING right.
Would you put it on par with Naruto? I know Bleach is ending soon which is why I'm asking this now. Is it worth reading/watching so much?
Also if I decide to should I read the entire manga, or watch the anime. Is it Naruto filler: Manga content is paced very fastly in the anime however it results in multiple filler arcs that put off the mood of the story, or One Piece filler: Padding on things implied/summarized in the manga to keep up the mood.

The bleach anime is infinitely better than the manga. It looks better, its paced better, the fight scenes are followable, and plot holes are covered up.
In fact, its probably entirely to blame for the series' popularity.

Should you read Bleach? Never an easy question to answer, so I'll say yes and no.
No, because it's a terrible manga and there are so many other manga out there that are much more worth your time reading.
And yes, because it's a terrible manga and one of the most lulz-worthy examples of bad storytelling you'll ever read.
As for anime vs. manga, this is one of those rare cases in which the anime adaptation is better than manga (it's hard to outdo Kubo in terribleness), but don't get me wrong, it's still bad. On the other hand it would take a lot less time to read the manga than watch the anime (trust me, you can read the average Bleach in about 2 minutes, if even that), plus you won't get the anime filler, which, again, is better than the manga, but still unnecessary. And since the only reason you'd be reading/watching this is for the kitsch value, you may as well read the original and more awful manga version.
Oh yeah, and Naruto, I get what you're saying. I think it's bad too, but at the very least, I do still kinda want to see how it ends. As for Bleach, it could be cancelled tomorrow and I wouldn't give less of a fuck. It's just impossible to give a damn about any of the characters.

Yeah, the art massively downgraded. I could pick and choose choice examples to show the difference, but really, just look at any given chapter from the first 200 chapters and then compare it to a recent chapter. The art was cleaner, had more dynamic angles, better action sequences, the girls looked like girls…

I think I have noticed the most blatant bad art during the "war" arc.

I talk to him today again.
He(My cousin) explained about Sasuke and Naruto.
He said that Sasuke's true intention (after finding about Itachi and Konoha) was to kill the elders and few others, then die at Naruto's hand just like Itachi did with him which should make Naruto strong enough to kill Madara. However, the new issue showed that his plans has change because of what he saw inside Naruto's heart. I am not clearly sure what he was referring too though.
As I said his English is too rusty. He said something about Sasuke finding out that if he dies at Naruto's hand, Naruto will commit a suicide or something. Therefore, Madara will survive without anyone to oppose/stop him.
He also said that Sasuke's new powers will be very frightening. His Susuno will be stronger and more powerful than Itachi's. He will use the Sealing Sword and Mirror much better than Itachi.
I asked him, who is stronger between New Naruto and Sasuke?
He said there will be no comparison when we read about both powers.
He hang up the phone before I asked him about Jiraiya and Itachi.
He also said something about Madara's son, daughter or brother will be reveal soon.
Also, one of Rikudo Sage's summoning was the toad sage (The toad that makes prophecy). It also has something that belongs to Rikudo Sage that it will give to Naruto when he is ready(More speculation…)
1- Naruto's connection with the First Hokage will be soon reveal.
2- Madara vs. Naruto round 1 will happen soon and Madara will retreat. It will be more of a test of strength. They will both learn about each other’s powers.
3- Kabuto's true target is Naruto. He will explain why soon.
4- Madara's interest in Naruto is more than just the Kyubi. Guess what else he is after?
5- Jiraiya's re-appearance is around the corner and we will reveal a lot of juicy stuff.

7- Naruto can somehow use all the five elements, some of Jiraiya, Minato, Kushina jutsu and it will be explain. This jutsu includes Uzumaki sealing jutsus as well.

9- 3rd Raikage, 2nd Mizukage and Gaara's father were all bloodline limit user.
10- One of sasuke's new powers is to slow down time in the real world. It will make him seem faster than his enemy. Unlike Tsukuyomi which happens in the mind, this one happens outside of the mind.
11- Another of Sasuke upgrade will be his amaterasu shield.
12- I almost forgot. Black half Zetzu was created with Madara's DNA. In other word, Zetzu is made up of both Hashirama's DNA (white Zetzu) and Madara's DNA (black Zetzu).
13- I forgot to say this very important hint about Madara's teleportation. According to the reliable source, Zetzu is the main key for his Time/Space Jutsu. Just like Minato, Madara needs something to guide him of his exit/entrance. In other word, the way Madara knows where to find and appears to someone is through Zetzu. This information will soon be revealed.

Prediction no. 8. Though my interpretation may not be correct, that long-haired Madara Saintfist was referring to was the Madara who was revived by Kabuto.
Prediction no. 9. Saintfist was right. Fourth Kazekage, Gaara's father, had bloodline limit, which is Magnetic Release.
Prediction no. 11. Of course, Sasuke has now Itachi's eyes. There's no way for his amaterasu not to be improved.
What is so interesting is Jiraiya's re-appearance in the series.

Is this even reliable? If it is, then I'm just thoroughly confused. Why would Naruto gain the Rikudou's eyes, which are the Rinnegan? So that Sasuke and Naruto have the same eyes? And what's the point in destroying Naruto's character, just so he'll the Sage of old. Not just a reincarnation?
Anyways, it could be fake to arouse fans with excitement. My point is, Kishi should just wrap it all up. Make Naruto into a Jyuubi jinchuuriki vs Sasuke with a hybrid of sharingan/rinnegan eyes, and end this train wreck.
Edit: But I can now see the Sage coming out of nowhere like the 4th, and Kushina in Naruto's subconscious, saying, "Hey, I'm here. Isn't this cool?"
