Hmmm I'd forgotten about the Hero Water. It soes sound similar to the Energy Steriods, but one difference is the spee at which the side effects kick in. It seems that it takes only minutes after drinking the Hero Water, while the ES seems to take a lot longer. When we first see Hodi taking ES was his introduction when he went after that esscaping human pirate. For the reactions of the others at that point, it seems that it wasn't the first time Hodi took it as they were familiar to his behavior when taking it. But why he wasn't aged then and now he is after one day of fighting Luffy? Simple he and his crew took more than one pill that day. They were eating them like candy, so that brought on the side effects faster than they would before.
But how could the Hero Water and ES be related?? Hmmm I'm going to guess that the water is a natural phenoma and is undiluted, while the ES, as a pill, uses the water (perhaps in soaking herbs in that water) therefore making the water more diluted. IT would have same side effects, but takes the pill longer to kick in.

I always found the Hero Water to be a random and pointless plot element. I hope Oda makes a connection between it and the ES (in a SBS, maybe).
That's a silly thing to say. The Hero Water allowed Oda to show just how awful Crocodile was. He wouldn't even give them the honour of being killed by him in battle, instead letting them die of the water's effects.

Her personal disorder IMO: She gets totally mad when she sees a beautiful girl. Because of that I drew her wearing a corset that isn't able to fulfill its duty. We never had this personal disorder in a female character (IIRC the only one was Pauly so far because he was shy) and it'd be funny seeing her interacting with Nami/Robin.Bout Tamagon:
He looks like a mixture between Tamagon from the Franky family and the Baggy-Baggy-fruit commander of the WBs.I also drew 'em with leaf/tree tattoos. I thought aside from her JollyRoger it'd be a nice signature mark of BigMom.
Aside from that IMO those 2 messengers as well as the rest of her crew could be sons and daughters of her.
Her running gag line could be:"I am so fat and ugly! Why did I have to give birth to so many kids!??"All in all I'm happy with the result cause it KINDA looks oda-ish. Just wanted to post a better prediction than Tonyoho on DA did.

This quote made me go read those chapters again. It was interesting in retrospect–Zeff was the first person to call the Grand Line "Paradise". Never noticed that before.
Also, I think the Shichibukai silhouettes weren't designed on the actual characters. There's no one in that pic that looks anything like Jinbe, Moria, or Kuma, and they barely look like Donflamingo or Hancock.

Bout Zeff: I think they stated Zeff callin the GL "Paradise" in the green databook. That could imply that he was in the NW.
Yeah, bout the Shichi-Silhouettes:
at the time when Oda drew those silhouettes he probably had no defined design for each Shichi, or he didn't want us to know how they look all different (size and stuff), so he drew 7 similar-lookin persons.
But with the Yonkou-silhouettes he had to draw sth more specific, we already have seen 2 Yonkous at the time.
So for BigMom we can assume that she looks a lot like that silhouette. He was clever with Kaidou btw in that panel:
We hardly c anything except his troll-grin (the 2 unknown Yonkous both have this troll-grin in their faces).
But nevertheless I'll maybe draw a pred of Kaidou too in the x-mas-holidays. I also wanna draw a lil fanfic bout a side-story Oda hasn't brought up yet with 2-3 very short chaps.

I think Jinbe is simply referring to what happened at Impel Down. We know there is more to it than that, but as far as Jinbe is concerned, Luffy and Blackbeard knew each other at Impel Down and even exchanged blows, so it's important Luffy knows as much about Blackbeard as he can. If you want to extrapolate further, I'd probably focus on the bit from Whitebeard about how Blackbeard wasn't the one Roger was waiting for, and his implication that Luffy is.
IMO that is the reason why Jinbe mentioned that and thats why Jinbe was mad at Luffy cause he didn't pay attention to it.

Since Luffy wasn't as concerned bout BB being Yonkou as he was with Akainu being the new FA, I think BB will do sth in the future that makes Luffy really mad. BB will either kill Shanks in front of Luffy's eyes or he'll deadly injure Shanks (he scarred him one time, why shouldn't he be able to do that a 2nd time?). The fight between the BBs and the Red-Hairs was foreshadowed in the end of the war (u know with the spread of Shanks' crew and stuff), and BB said this wasn't the rite time yet to clash with them, so I can imagine they'll have their duel somewhen in the future (near end of the story).
Akainu killed Ace. And it'd be a blast if BB killed Shanks b4 or after Luffy fulfilled his promise. -
Another other note on the Blackbeard taking attention on Luffy that may not be obvious:
Rubber might be immune to the quake fruit, but I'm not sure if Luffy would simply lose control of his power, or his power completely in contact with Blackbeard. It's implied that Logia's have to manipulate their power to avoid damage, so it may just sap the ability to use manipulation. If that's the case, Luffy's power might make him Blackbeard's natural enemy.On the off chance Blackbeard can use three fruits, the Rubber fruit might be a great choice, as it increases a person's defense vs blows, making Blackbeard having a really strong set of powers that compliment each other.
Edit: Nevermind, it seems that touching Luffy causes his body to take full damage, Guess I missed that in Impel Down.

I'd say Marco's fruit would be best actually–BB's biggest weaknesses right now are his lack of mobility (neither fruit gives him any, and he's not particularly fast) and poor defense (he can be killed instantly if someone just shoots him in the head). Marco's DF would cover both weaknesses, and it'd be a tad bit fitting, particularly as BB would then have gotten all 3 of his fruits by stealing them from Whitebeard pirates after killing them.

although I agree with you 100%, we don't know what effect Luffy's fruit could have when it is combined with whitebeards. Can you imagine a gomu gomu no mi jet bazooka hardened with CoA and on the tip of his fist there is an earthquake on impact. It would be most devistating if you ask me… If the Gura Gura no mi really has the power to destroy the world. This little upgrade would make it able to obliterate it in an instant. It does still make his defense pretty weak though because he could still be sliced

What's better than having the ability to nullify Devil Fruits on touch? Being able to nullify them from ANYWHERE, REMOTELY. And then sprout another hand to grab your victim's neck, and unleash an earthquake on it. And then do that to 50 other people at the same time.

If it's possible he's pretty much unkillable. But I dunno if Robin is able to sprout on a target whose speed is extremly high? BB is pretty slow I think.
Edit: If Shanks dies I'll kill myself. He and Borsalino are my favourite characters in One Piece. And if Borsalino dies it won't affect me as much as the death of Shanks will considering that Borsaliona is an enemy.

It also could be that she might have an even fatter face than I drew. With more conical cheeks, u know? Even more conical than the cheeks I've drawn.
BTW the stuff around her Jolly Roger could indeed be sweets. Until last week I thought is sth like tidal waves or wind currents drawn around her JR, but when I saw Luffy's sweets as well as the candy factory's design, I saw that this stuff in her JR are sweets.
Maybe those sweets don't belong to her Jr at all, but just to show that the sweets in the factory are "her" sweets, know what i mean? It's hard to express myself in a non-native-language.
Or she likes sweets that much that she has them even in her JR, that might be the more plausible case. If she destroys whole countries 4 the sake of sweets... -

No it means we are most probably getting a chapter, but then have to wait 3 weeks for the next. It was like that last year too iirc… hate it. People who actually buy and read the magazine don't see the chapter until sometime next week, I believe, or even one and a half (it's released on a Monday, no?), then the next two weeks after. The internet community doesn't have a 2week/2 week wait, but instead a 1 week/3 week one. More or less.

LOL bro, if you have the power to destroy the world, why would you even bother getting a rubber band fruit? Logic?
Marco's fruit - flying+regeneration power adds MORE than "this little upgrade" so yes it doesn't make any sense.
That being said, I'd hate BB killing Marco stealing away his fruit that'd be depressing.

Where did you get that idea from? I have yet to see any proof that Blackbeard is immune to damage(anymore then regular tough guys like Zoro and Sanji). Can you provide any credible links?
As for the other theories they are all quite interesting. But I wonder if there aren't rules to stealing powers. If different DF powers don't react differently to each other. We know that some DF powers are so to say natural enemies so maybe it might be impossible even for someone like Blackbeard to take say Kizaru's power. Or perhaps he can take only DF from a different category. He got a primary Logia, the second one is a Paramecia and the last one he could get would be a Zoan. I doubt he can simply pick and chose any DF he wants. There needs to be rules otherwise he would be way too overpowered.

Luffy had a hard time fighting Magellan not because he has a rubber fruit but because humans are weak to poison. Nobody could have done to Enel what luffy did without Haki because his fruit enables him to be immune to electric shocks which also enables Luffy to touch the body of a logia without Haki, like Aikanu vs. Ace while any person, with or without devil fruit (except for most likely logia's) would have trouble with magellan's poison

Gotta love bipolar thinking. No, the Gum Gum fruit is one hell of an asset, and it's up there with all the paramecia that make their eater "made of something", and in the world gum is a very good material. Having a property that has a condition and then effect is imo much less powerful.

In my personal opinion rubber is a so so good DF. However Luffy has mastered it and showed us the potential of his fruit. I believe that is the main difference. He has discovered "maximal" potential in which he can use his fruit, however we saw majority of other DF users just using the most obvious ways…
Because even if Luffy is kind of partially protected against blunt attacks, when stretched he is quite the opposite in danger of being cut and sliced. Other from that gear 2 and 3 and the rest of the stuff he uses is his pure genius at work.
I also think this is one of the main reasons I like this manga. He was not given some incredibly strong and usual for a shounen hero power. (like ice, fire...)He was given a semi funny DF which showed some potential in his punches but aside from that wasn't all that special. Each DF is unique and gives you something to work with. However Luffy is a prime example of what Crocodile was saying. It is not about what DF you have. But how you master it, its about the USER

gomu gomu fruit, if luffy masters it, it should have following abilities:
1. like current, stretch, hardened, resist, etc.
2. like chewing gum, it can be cut, and can back to normal condition
3. it can be burnt like Gear2, become steam of rubber and back to normal condition
4. it can melt and back to normal, it just like logia type of rubber. -
Apparently it seems Blackbeard's devil fruit is the best since it eats other devil fruits.
