Just played through the demo, Law is ridiculous. If you use R2 to create the room and then combo, it has a vortex effect which even works on bosses. Hit 1000 kills in about five minutes because he can get his full combo on twenty people at the same time. Visually, the rooms everywhere are annoying but turning Enel's head into a bomb more than makes up for it. It's a shame his "shock" move is aerial only, and his transformation is boring, I don't even know what he's doing in his transformed ult.

Luffy has been polished a little bit since the first game. His hits look a little more rubbery, and the sound effects when he hits people are a nice touch. His moveset is actually smaller than the first game thanks to the removal of Rocket and the replacement of his special move wheel with just jet pistol (Or maybe you can unlock other specials?). Gear 2nd is cool, and he uses king's Haki when he transforms. It's a shame they don't update his dodge though, it should be soru! His ults are nice although hitting people with jet storm is a challenge.

Team attacks are activated by transforming, filling a bar by attacking and then pressing circle. They last a fair bit longer than in the first game, and you can move around with the swapped character, so it seems we'll at least be able to play as the support characters for short bursts (I'm guessing they'll only have a couple of combos). In the demo, Luffy has Usopp as his support and Law has Zoro. Usopp I only tried once and his moveset is pretty similar to the first game. Zoro has some cool effects on his attacks now, and he has the tornado as an ulti.

The level itself is much better than what we got in the first game. the hills are a nice touch, and the removal of rooms you have to clear makes it less painful, enemies are in clumps now instead. Also, it seems that they are all on the map from the get-go, which means you can face truly massive crowds of enemies. Also, the stage is a little more dynamic than in earlier games. It's cool when the storm starts, and when you face Enel, it's on Maxim and it starts flying. And Enel's transform turns him into his element, which makes him invincible, so he should be fun to play.

Great chapter, amazingly fluid panel transitions. Oda really is the best at drawing fights. Little shocked to see so many people dismissing Sanji as out already. Vergo hasn't even landed a proper hit yet! Did you guys think Luffy was going to die when Rob Lucchi blasted him into shipping crates?

Looks absolutely awful. Shame, I was looking forward to it.

Personally, I like pretty much all of the costume choices in the poster. _Especially_​ Robin's.

I imagine this has already been covered in this topic, but this episode has to have been one of the worst I've ever seen. There is almost nothing redeemable about it. The animation is non-existent, the art is plain and it seems to have been directed by the most boring man on the planet. I've skipped most of Fishman Island and if this episode is any indication, it would seem I made the right choice. Preview for next episode looks more dynamic, hopefully it doesn't disappoint like this week did.

I always found the Hero Water to be a random and pointless plot element. I hope Oda makes a connection between it and the ES (in a SBS, maybe).

That's a silly thing to say. The Hero Water allowed Oda to show just how awful Crocodile was. He wouldn't even give them the honour of being killed by him in battle, instead letting them die of the water's effects.

Some of you guys are idiots complaining about your favourite characters not having a 1on1 RIGHT NOW. Would you really have Sanji go and fight VanderDecken and Hodi? Seriously? What would Luffy do? Sanji will probably get someone to fight eventually, same with Jinbei. Even though the focus has nothing to do with them right now, they are still getting shown and doing things. It's a good job Oda writes One Piece and not you blobheads.

Hopefully, there will be skin-grabbing bubbles (or something like that), so that we can see an island that is 100% underwater without a giant bubble around it and have the SH's walk around it freely, even those cursed by the sea.
Having skin-grabbing bubbles could also go in well with the concept of Fishmen with DF's

Unless the arc lasts about two minutes you're gonna have some pretty asphyxiated protagonists.
