I'm really enjoying this opening. It's fun, fast paced and has an air of positivity about it. Refreshing, after the last few (understandably) sombre openings.
Usoppu, that's a shame, however, if it's the only nit to pick, it's not going to bother me. I'll just focus my attention to the right of the screen.
One Piece Opening 15: "We go!" by Hiroshi Kitadani
-
-
Yeah, We Go is one of the best openings - it fits really well with the story, too. Post-timeskip is like the beginning of a new One Piece, and Hiroshi Kitadani really did a great job (just like 10 years ago).

That is the greatest thing ever.

My God. I want a full version with the other fake SHs.

-
"What? It's just We Go playing over the cover of volohBWAHAHAHA what the hell is this?"
-
-
LOL
!
! -
…Now I want that to be part of the We Go! single release.
And Bone to be Wild.
-
Oh wow, that was hilarious. I hope we get that as bonus tracks.
-
They'd have to be secret bonus tracks, because it was already listed as having only We Go, the refurbished We Are from the montage, and the karaoke tracks for both.

-
This is amazing.
-
I've only just realised the Fake Hats never had a fake Brook, ah, but he is all bones. Skull JOKE!
-
I just want to ask, how is "We Go! ~ for NEW WORLD" different from the original song?

That's how they are different. :ninja:
-
Bye Usoppu. Welcome back, Usopp.
I uploaded the new version:
-
Good that they finally fixed that. Our boy is back!
-
Makes you wonder if a Toei employee just realized the error.

Here new One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 Trailer, with We Go! full version in the background ^^

The scene where Usopp attempts to shoot Akainu is priceless.
-
I wonder if the straw hat crew will sing this song later on like opening 1?
-

I agree. Someone should make a gif out of it when we get a better quality vid.

This is sooooo cool!
It's great to finally hear the full version of the song.
Akainu's face when Usopp shot him was freaking hilarious! -
I found another full version (not sure if it's really full), without voiceovers, except in the last seconds.
-
-
^^ Many thanks for this awesome gif.
-
God Usopp attacks again.
Akainu never saw it coming.
-
I pre-ordered the first press release of the "We Go!" single, it's slated to come out next week. So the full version should be out for you all a little bit after then.
-

Hm sounds like it was recorded from a radio broadcast with the talking at the end.
Going back to another comment, I certainly hope we get a Straw Hat version of We Go sooner than later.
-
Somebody uploaded the full version

That guitar solo…...was the most epic thing I ever heard.

I wouldn't be surprised. That's how we got Strong World's full theme.

This post is deleted!

He's only faking that he's scared. Akainu's already fallen into his trap, and in 3, 2, 1…

Hm, it's not often the full version alters the actual singing of the TV sized version; they amped up the third chorus and used the first's lyrics for the softer-sung forth chorus this time. Better? Worse?
One thing I never got to mention about the changed animation; I don't like how the group just snaps to their big ending pose with barely any frames of them jumping in. Kinda unnatural.
I am glad they fixed "Usopp", though.

Hah, I thought I was the only one that was a bit bothered by that. It's all the more noticeable since we see it right after very well done fluid animation of the Straw Hats.

Exactly what I was thinking. Plus, cutting from Luffy to them and then right back to him was a bit of a chop, too. Even though the new version is more satisfying overall, the original version at least transitioned better.
-
Does anyone have the lyrics of the full version?
-
I'm looking on play-asia and there's a version with just a CD and another that includes a DVD. What's on the DVD? Trying to determine if it's worth the extra seven dollars.
-
Creditless opening may be on it, if there is an official music video it'll be on there and sometimes making-of stuff is included too.
It's different from song to song and release to release.
-
the full version is epic win
-
That is the BEST thing I've seen in a long while! Needs a Brook getting Shamble'd one as well! XP
-
-
@The:
funny what episode
Part of a commercial for One Piece Gigant Battle! 2 New World.
-
Well, I caved; I ordered the single CD before the first presses ran out. The DVD might've been interesting, but considering the opening keeps updating, I can't be sure which version they'll have creditless; if it at least had both the 3-ep version and the current-ish version, I might've been swayed.
Anyway, We Go, refurbished We Are, and their karaoke tracks; that's what $16 plus shipping gets ya. (Though I at least had enough CDJapan points to cut shipping out.)
