All these new moves are great, though I'm most curious if Robin's new move is just giant legs or legs made of many limbs. I can't tell, though the former would be more impressive since it gives her more attack options.
Jimbe in this chapter make me wonder about his possible joining. People keep talking about him joining, and there's really only one thing that worries me about that–jobbing. If Jimbe joins the Strawhats, I expect him to go through the same process the last 4 new recuirts have gone through. They look awesome, near invincible at first, then they suffer a series of complete one-sided defeats. As opposed then say, Sanji and Zoro who only lose when things are at their absolute worse, like in Thriller Barque and so on. I really don't want that to happen to Jimbe, not only because it's predictable, but it means Franky would lose his status as main jobber for the crew! He's so freaking good at it! He's a badass weapons freak made of steel who fights to the bitter end no matter what kicks his ass, and he just rebuilt himself to be stronger then ever! What's also great is you could make an argument that Franky's about as strong as Zoro and Sanji (though I don't want to, don't bother), so his losses have some credibility to it. But, I can't make the same argument for Jimbe. The guy blocked Akainu's punch. That would melt through Franky and any other SH. So yeah, I'm fearing for Franky's position in the crew if Jimbe joins,
Yet, Jimbe jobbing out hasn't happened. Given, Hodi isn't really the opponent I expect to match a shihchibukai, but in this chapter Jimbe matched the main villains strength and Luffy's bounty. While this could end up like Franky vs. Luffy way back when, I could see this going down in many different ways. Maybe Jimbe and Luffy will fight through this arc as friends and equals? Or, if Jimbe joins maybe his position in the crew will be more like Sanji and Zoro as opposed to Franky and Robin? I'm interested in seeing how Jimbe turns out after this arc.
