@Sâuza:
I still believe that he abandoned his sole purpose in life, finding Gin.
I don't think it's that, honestly I believe he sacrificed years of his life.
@Bucephalus:
Man, Uvogin was really one badass motherfucker.
He pwns people with just his head alone, the first time I read that fight between him and those other three shadow beasts I re-read that part he bit one guys head half off, used the dudes skull as a bullet to shoot through the other guys hand and straight out the dome than screamed into the next guys ears so loud that it ruptured his brain. Plus he caught a bullet with his teeth at point blank range, at blank range, in short I agree that Uvogin is one bad ass motha fucka
@phoenix_fire:
The only real drawbacks would be, if Gon is killed afterwards or cant use Nen anymore, with no way of getting it back later. And both of it wont happen (except if this really is the last arc). And EVEN THEN, the powerup seems too massiv. If I remember rightly, even Netero said, that he isnt sure if he can handle the Royal Guards. And Gon was able to one-shot them. And wasnt Pitou confirmed as the best/fastest of them or something like that?? .
Actually it was morau who wasn't sure if gon would be able to handle the royal guards which was why morau tested gon the way he did cause he wanted to see the kids resolve, if it was weak he would of sent him on his way home to mama in this case aunt mito. But gon proved to morau that he was going to be an asset to the team.
@kouch_lee:
It seems like Togashi really liked to flesh out a lot of characters in HxH. That's good. But some of them got a little TOO MUCH exposition, like that panther ant guy. Morau commented on his possibilities of infinite growth. And he got a lot of abilitiy upgrades.
But when this same character gets killed with a sneak attack, in a totaly lackluster way, then maybe you wonder. . .what was the point?
And then, believe it or not, I think to myself, that I actualy like it. It's part of HxH's appeal. It's fucking unpredictable.
Then multiply it by 100 with Yupi's case. Pages and pages of character developement and internal molonogue, all building upon his glorious death scene.
You thought Whitebeard had an epic death? Nonsense. Yupi all the way!
Oh, and I'll just add this: I think the Chimera ant arc is muuuuch better than Greed Island. It's a matter of taste, of course. And GI was really rich and detailed (at least, that whole card-RPG system was detailed and rich), but overall? It kinda bored me. The Chimera ant arc may be far too crazy and excessive (both in content, in narration, in developements, power levels, etc. . .) and a little disperse, but hell, it's fucking exciting.
Cheetu getting killed off by Silva was completly unpredictable and I actually like that to me it's kinda like real life which is infact unpredictable
Yupi's death goes to show that power levels in this series doesn't mean shit, granted he wasn't the powerhouse he was while fighting knuckle,shoot,morau, killua and meleoron but he still was a formidable foe due to the fact that he was able to change his bodys shape and getting killed off by Werefin was just shocking
I believe the ants was a genius idea, if you wanted an army to take over the world but incorporate other species into it and have them be loyal to there "queen" than what other species than insects and what mythical creature than the chimera. So far this saga has been my current favorite. Can't say arc since technically there are 3 arcs within this saga: NGL (ends at the birth of the king) Days to Selection ( ends when everyone is about to head into the palace) Royal Palace (current arc). It's like the CP9 saga people tend to forget it was Water 7 than Puffing Tom than Enies Lobby
