I wish I had the money for that. It'd be amazing.

That. Is. Amazing.
The people who don't watch community must have been so confused.
Why? for them it was an unremarcable and creepy extra.
-
Hopefully the Emmy's will show the same lind of love.

Good read and it's only part 1 of 4.

I'm currently in the middle of reading it, I just had to stop to post something:
I absolutely loved the space ship episode, and it confuses me to see how Dan Harmon talks about it.
Did people really not like that episode? I thought it was brilliant, and it's one of the ones that stands out in my mind from this season.
Plus, it gave us the anus flag!
-
I'm so pissed that the Chang side story didn't happen. That would've been fun to explore.
-
Same.
I could have seen them working it into season 3, but now they he's talked about it, we won't see it at all.
-
Just putting part 2 up of the interview.

Does Dan Harmon HATE this show?
I know he doesn't, but that's the feeling I get…
-
Gotta love the sophomore curse. I think it was just times of frustration and times of I have it but it's too late going on with him this season.
-
He's critical of his own work, that's a mark of quality for the show.
I think that he just hates regular tv.
-
Part 3 of the interview.

Wow I'm dumbfounded that the executives didn't like the Dungeons and Dragons episode. That's one of my favorite episodes of the series.
-
Dan Harmon will eventually be killed by the show he created.
-
Workaholics.. It'll last the 4 seasons..

So throughout the last season of The Office I caught glimpses of the show. It was on before The Office so I usually just caught the endings, but the first episode that the entirety of was the Season 2 finale. I've heard only good things about this show so the other day ago I torrented the two seasons. I just finished watching this show and can just say…it's simply amazing. The humor is amazing, you feel with the characters...and this show is simply amazing! Definitely one of my favorites.

Third Season starts on 22th September :D

Glad you like it! Always great to have another person join the fandom. The more it gets, the more likely the show gets a 4th season, which is definitely something we want to happen.
Third Season starts on 22th September :D
Aw…that's so long from now. I was really hoping for a second week of September start at the latest. Sigh.
Anyone know how many episodes this season is?
-
22 is the standard for most shows.
-
Yeah, I know… It's just that the show matches up perfectly with my university's calender...except for the start date.
Best part of last season was the the finale fell on the day of my last final. It was so incredibly perfect.
Stupid reason to be upset...I know....
It actually works out though, as that'll be right about when Psych goes on break...

Fuck the Emmys. Seriously.

This should cheer up the Emmy blues. http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/2011/07/communitys-alison-brie-gillian-jacobs-go-lesbian-sm-for-gq.html
Alison: "Aw, Gil! You should have let me know! We could have practiced!"
… I'll be in my bunk.

I was discussing the Emmys with my friends (excited about GOT) and apparently… none of them watch this show.
I thought it was more popular than this, shame.
The irony being all 6 of us went to city college.

I kinda prefer the not (as) Photoshop versions.

Preview of season 2 bloopers

Brilliant.
I'm so excited. I preo-ordered it as soon as it was available on amazon.Looks like I'll have a couple of weeks to watch everything before season 3 starts.
Also, I hope every episode has commentary again.
And that the blooper reel runs to at least half an hour again.

Info from Harmon via TVGuide. Can't wait for Community's panel tomorrow.
Episode 1 Biology 101@Dan:
Well, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) is going to choose a major in the beginning of the season. It's been a long time coming. She's finally going to commit to a chosen vocation and she'll be trying to prove herself throughout the year.
I want to see with Abed (Danny Pudi) more of the things that make it difficult to be him. We've seen lots of him being a superhero in his disconnection, and I want to see what the price of that disconnection is sometimes in stories that challenge him more.
For Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), I want her character to evolve a bit now that she's gotten back together with her husband. She's going to need to find her volition. She's going to need to move forward, and like Britta, decide what it is that she wants to do with her life.
Pierce needs to atone with Jeff (Joel McHale), and I want this to be the season that we meet Jeff's father if possible.
Annie (Alison Brie) is going to have a rival that will bring the worst out in her and cause her to have to do with battle with some of her profound weaknesses. And a couple of the characters will be cohabitating in different combinations that will move the show forward I think.
Troy is going to be pursuing his talent for plumbing. He's going to finally have surrendered to that, but he's going to be torn between that and another occupation that will want him more badly and want to exploit his talents in a different way. Troy's going to have probably the most heroic journey of all in an epic sense, because he's sort of the chosen figure who has this gift. He's going to be torn between two worlds that Greendale's campus is affected by profoundly.
Chang is going to be a security guard, and his story is going to be the story of a man's rise to power.
Season 3 is about the price that you pay when you figure out that you love a group of people. That's it in a nutshell. It's about the high cost of valuing people other than yourself, and that's the path that Jeff has been on. The third chapter for him is going to be the toughest of all. When you love people, their pain is your pain. Nobody likes having to deal with hassles more than Jeff Winger, and nobody's going to have to deal with more this year.
-
Wow, sounds like a fun season.
Bring it on :)
-
Sounds like this season is going to be fantastic.
-
Yeah buddy Omar is the new biology teacher.

Just a couple of things from the Comic-Con panel
1. Alison wasn't there because she's filming a movie
2. Abed and Troy move in together this season. -
-
That can't be good.
Can it?
-
When it comes to it, Omar will just kill the shark and tell the class to dissect it as a homework assignment.
-
That'd be the best possible outcome. nod

"Community" creator Dan Harmon spoke with Vulture on Friday about what he had in store for next season, and mentioned that he hoped to add a sense of "groundedness and reality" to the series.
"The detractors of our show complain that there's a distancing that takes place because we have such a silliness and far-fetchedness," he added. "If last year we were a bunch of loose pearls that were rolling all over the floor that you could slip on, hopefully this year those pearls will have a string through them that makes them all one thing."
Thank fucking god!
-
EDIT: Computer gitched and doubled posted.
-
Here's a casting call description of the biology teacher this year
He’s said to be an “imposing,” sometimes scary guy who has just been released from jail — but is actually a darn good educator.
-
Thank fucking god!
i actually like the silliness and far-fetchedness. I hope he doesn't go too far trying to ground it. The detractors of the show shouldn't be the people he's trying to please. He's got a pretty loyal following who love exactly what he's been doing. After reading those interviews i get the impression that he takes criticism way too seriously.
-
I waited for 3 hours to get into the Community panel and failed (terrible idea on Comic Con's organizers part by placing it in a room way too small for it) but everything is made better because OMAR COMIN
-
Funny shit the first thing the cast saw today.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also John Goodman is Vice Dean Laybourne the head of Greendale’s air conditioning repair school which is considered one of the best in the nation.
-
Air Conditioning Repair must be the second party that wants Troy, instead of the plumbing job.
