Yemen's next on the chopping block then, I suppose.

Libya's Gaddafi given ultimatum
US President Barack Obama has said Libyan leader Colonel Muammar Gaddafi must obey the UN's demands or face military action.
-
this is very critical time… Benghazi must stay strong.
AJ reports Gaddafi forces said to have bypassed Ajdabiya and are now 50km from Benghazi. They must hold out before UK/USA/France gets into action
AFP: Loud explosion and anti-aircraft fire heard in Libyan city of Benghazi.
also there are various reports of Gaddafi moving bodies to claim as UN strikes casualties
If Libya's Gadhafi attacks Benghazi it would constitute a war crime, chief prosecutor at International Criminal Court says - Reuters
-
According to Aljazeera some of Gaddafi's forces are moving towards Tobruk in the far east.
Gaddafi is trying to kill as much as he can before going down.
-

Blow those bastards away guys.
You deserve it.
-
He's playing the hands and head move in opposite directions game. Diplomats have fallen for that so many times that you'd think they would know this by now. ultimatiums is exactly what he wants: Time, time to crush the rebells on the ground so that a no fly zone can't protect anyone anymore. He can be sure that there won't be a ground invasion afterall

At least two people (maybe four) have been killed in a peaceful demonstration in Syria.

So, the next could be either Syria or Yemen. Or both at the same time.
-
A representative of Gaddafi's regime is talking.. and one of the things he said was that their forces are outside of Benghazi and they don't plan to enter. (of course we can't trust them even with that)
The rest is unimportant.

Thank you for the link. World history is changing in front of our eyes. Amazing. It's like 1989 again, but then we had to depend on the mainstream media coverage.
Edit: King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia is trying to buy love with 91 billion dollars. We shall see.

What the heck, they just switched to showing some old movie in the middle of that, heh.

Good, the people can have money to buy better torches and pitchforks for Abdullah's turn.

War is looking highly probable right about now…
Very true , but for now will be NATO bombings (like Bosnian-Serb conflict) . I just hope no innocent deaths happen if NATO start bombing. Since based on previous experience, it has almost never been 100% accurate.
Only thing I do not want is the US to deploy troops, The East is taken by the Rebels and I heard is a oil rich area. I heard over here in Fox news that there were talks about splitting libya in two.. Not sure if that is on the table or was just politicians rambling. West and east libya with independent governments. -

Gaddafi does not approve of people not knowing who he is.
@Kaiolino:no no no you got it all wrong. Those warnings were from everything before Poland!
Damn High School education that barely mentions Poland.

They annexed Austria and split Czechoslovakia before Poland.

What your country needs isn't so much a regime change as a gigantic chill pill wit yo crazy ass conservativeness.

Saudi Arabia is the only country on earth to officially recognize "cooties" as a disease.

And XX chromosomes.

Hey Saudi guy I've lived with unmarried women who I do not have any sort of relationship with for the last five years.
NEENER NEENER
-
If your country is so sexually frustrated that your king has to legalize and fund giant publically used car racing arenas for all the incredibly bored young men who can barely see girls you really need to do some serious thinking.
-
Somebody needs to hijack some sort of public loudspeaker system across Saudi Arabia and just nonstop play the entire length of Parliament's "Funkentelechy Vs. the Placebo Syndrome" over and over and over again.
-
what are you talking about?
are you implying that because young men here barely see girls they should revolt?
-
have you ever seen a girls hair
its pretty much like boy hair except they let it get long and put cool plastic things in it to make it form cool shapes
-
Oh man if I was being cockblocked by my government I'd revolt even if everything else was going fine.
-
hahaha I'm in Nottingham atm! and in fact back in Jeddah I've seen a lot of girls hair
yeah in streets and malls
-
buy a copy of Funkentelechy and do as i have said
though to be fair Old England is just as culturally stuffy and constipated as Saudi Arabia
-
This guy does not look 87. At all.
-
Botox and a cheaply dyed beard. It's still impressive though.
-
He looks like my substitute biology teacher for God's sakes.
-
The greatest innovation of America is revolting against our old English heritage of being clammy and quiet and inventing the meaning of rockin' out with your cock out.
Instead of bombing people we need to spread around P-Funk and Van Halen albums.
And destroy Soul II Soul and Everything But the Girl albums. -
I may agree to revolt against Al Saud at some point (for their great and unfair share of budget mainly), but definitely disagree to revolt against Abdullah, he is a good man who has done nothing but good things since he became king, he even tried to minimize Al Saud share of the budget.
-
If Saudi Arabia had walmarts, they'd sell wonen's clothing in the camping department under 'tents'
-
Saudi Arabia is what Utah would be like if became independent.
-
Everyday's Halloween in Saudi Arabia. The women dress (and are treated) like ghosts.
-
Saudi Arabia momma so ugly, making her cover up her face is a public service
-
yo' saudi arabian momma so fat her coverings can be used as ten-room tent when you go camping
-
I wonder if Saudi Arabian women even get fully nude during sex.
-
what are you talking about?
are you implying that because young men here barely see girls they should revolt?
Actually come to think of it, being denied from interacting with half your population is kinda revolt worthy.
-
I wonder if Saudi Arabian women even get fully nude during sex.
Perhaps they have special nightdresses for it, like there were during the Victorian era? (I cannot recollect if this was in UK or US. Possibly in both countries.) You know, with a hole/opening in a strategic place, keeping the actual skin-to-skin-contact to a minimum?
Gaddafi called a ceasefire. But still the bombs fell.
Quote: …10 miles to the east, at Abdullah Athi, another driver, Nasr Mohammed, showed bullet marks on his Opel saloon as his wife sat in the back hugging two children, one of them a little boy with a large bandage on his temple. "He was cut by flying glass. A Gaddafi soldier at a checkpoint just opened fire. My boy could have been blinded," Mr Mohammed said.
"We were leaving Ajdabiya because I knew that if any of my family get injured in the fighting the hospital would not be able to save them. They have patients lying on floors. We need the Americans, the French, the British to come in with medicine and aid. They should concentrate on that, give weapons to the Shabaab and let us fight for our own country."Now would be a very good time to put your money where your mouth is, UN. And not necessarily by bombing Gaddafi and his clique into smithereens (although that might be really helpful), but by letting the Libyans fight for themselves. The true change can come only from the people actually living there, otherwise it will only feel artificial and unfinished. Don't fight for them but with them.
Edit: Well now. They are actually starting to… talk. I guess this is better than nothing.
The leaders of UK, France, Spain and Arab Leagues are meeting with Ban Ki-moon, "senior figures from Washington" and whatnot. -
