That makes me so happy to hear, Luffyko, that you think so. <33
Do you think I could use it as a signature?

I have found a really good analysis on the Fukushima matter from someone who has experience of working with the BWR type reactors that are installed on Fukushima, but I probably shouldn't post it since it deals with all kind of possibilities.
What is important now to understand, is that situation is serious, but not catastrophic. The reticent and even contradictory media coverage doesn't really help.
And talk about life's irony: the first reactor was constructed in 1971 and was to be decomissioned in March 2011.
On a more positive note.
By chance, is it this blog post you are talking about?

Great work Sai!
Also there are some before-after satellite photos here (hover over them):

Nature is indeed scary.
Oh man just…..I can't even express it in words. All those houses were just erased, just like that.
This is our future.
Sai very nice job–really nice image. Here's a link to a site that'll automatically reduce the size of any pic--maybe you can use it to amke yours into an avatar or sig?
Mind if I use it as my avatar for a while?
Why would you use an online picture resizer.
note to people responding to trolls: responding only makes more off topic posts. please just click the report button. it's the little "!!" button under their ava. lets keep this about information about japan and how we can help.
Uhm, did we have a toll her now , I didn't notice ?
I just heard that a volcano recently erupted in Japan. Damn, talk about unlucky. Don't know how bad the explosion was or anything though, hopefully not too bad.
Yeah; shit!
Shinmoedake erupted!

I wouldn't say unlucky since volcanoes are known to erupt due to earthquakes. Although I know what you're saying.
I agree with Jerk Disease there, just remove the text and make that orange circle red. Or another idea, u an probably use their imperial nippon symbol
Uh….fair or no that form of the flag has bad associations nowadays (like the confederate flag) so you might not want to.
Future Dangers
When the volcano in question first erupted, it was reported that there was no magma movement beneath the surface, and that means it is unlikely to lead to a full-scale eruption. However, volcanologists are now worried that the moving tectonic plates have forced magma to build in Shinmoedake and will cause a premature eruption that was unpredicted. Out of all the volcanoes in the Kirishima range, the Shinmoedake volcano is the most active.
=/
Just to counterbalance all the negative reports of people showing their worst side in this, here's a link to a video where a station asked people to send three word messages to Japan–it's really touching. http://news.yahoo.com/video/us-15749625/24508903

Okay
after reading that, they were refering to the cooling system failure from before. Nothing new aparently.
I realy wish the aftershocks won't be as major or as frequent as they indicate they could be.

It's fine if anyone wants to have the pic in their sig or avvie. Just hold on an hour or so (I'm eating) and I'll make an avvie and sig size version for everyone and post it in my art thread. That way anyone can show their suppot. c:
Great work Sai!
Thank you! c:
This is really terrible…that's all I have to say. I'm just kind of speechless.
GaaraOfTheDesert makes me weep for humanity.
Any news about aftershocks? Or Fukushima?
Hell when the Kobe/Hanshin EQ hit, even the yakuza (such as my former employers) were pitching in to help.
It's one of the few instances where I can still be proud about my culture.
(Only to be disgusted by reading internet forums a few minutes later)
Sai – nice art! Ponx, your sig is great too.
Thanks for the update on the situation in Indonesia. Hopefully RDarren will be back to fill us in on the Philippines.
Aohige -- very cool.
Does anyone know if Coastal China has been affected by the tsunami? etc

I don't believe so. Geographically, Japan blocks the Sea of Japan and anything behind it (including Korea) and the epicenter was just east of Japan.
There have been reports of cooling system failures at Tokai and Onagawa nuclear power plants as well, fortunately they both seem to be under control for now.
I'm rarely posting anything on AP forums. Well, I'm pretty sure not many people know me.
I just want to say, that for the last few years manga was something, that pushed me towards drawing, and Oda gave me a few pages of great art every week. And no, I'm not going to make this about manga. It's just… I know Japan because of games, manga, anime and electronics. So, in a way, I don't know a thing about this country. But I really wish that Japan stands up from this disaster. They know how to handle such things, they are well organized. I just don't want for people to die, it's a great culture, and right now a huge part of it got washed away.
Stay strong Japan, I'm not waiting for any mangas or anime or anything. If it would help survive some people, I can wait for all this crap even a year. Just be well, please.
I feel so sorry for all people that are suffering, but maybe it was already asked but i came online just now.
Are Oda or Jump planning to put ONE PIECE on hold due to the desaster?
I wouldn´t mind, since it is - i have no words for such things, sorry.
We don't know.
It's possible. We stil got next week's chapter long before Japan will, probably, so we should be content with that.

If you don't then why do you ask? People said countless times here not to ask about this.
This is for everyone who wanted to use my pic in their avvie or sig to show support for Japan:
If you have any comments on the pic itself, just go to my art thread. c: Anyone is allowed to use this.
Done! Stay strong Japan!

Well, business has to continue for the sake of the economy, and the fact all the professionals went back to work says all. Perhaps there'll be a delay of just a few days.
Done as well .
Hey Sai you don't mind I post that on Facebook right? I want to show that to all my friends.
Just tell them it's by me, and maybe give the dA link. Other than that, I don't mind. c:

I did think the same, but I was thinking more along the lines of how many people in both the distribution will be able to keep their jobs for the time being, and how many shops will be able to operate as a whole.
Oh what's that piece of shit mayor of Tokyo doing through all this ? Has he made his salary even remotely worth it ?
Just tell them it's by me, and maybe give the dA link. Other than that, I don't mind. c:
Okay, thank you very much!!!!!
Thanks, Sai-chan!
Forgot to say great work on that image, Sai-chan.
You should post it on the official "Pray For Japan" Facebook page:
Thanks, Chopperrules.
Haha, I don't have a facebook page. x'D Someone can post it for me, though. With the dA link and all that.
Good for him. I must also commend two Western artists. You may dislike their music, but you gotta hand it to Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber. They donated millions of dollars from their personal funds to Japan, with more to come.
Shows that when the chips are down, you know that there are good people still around. :-)
EDIT: Also, if I recall, Ke$ha donated a large amount of money too, somewhere around two million.
oh god. this is actually forcing me to l-like justin bieber.
that's really good and suprising of him.

Exactly. He's never bothered me as a person. Never been a fan of his music, but as a person, he seems like a really down to earth kid.
What makes me really proud is that, when all is said and done, I think that we, as normal citizens around the world, will probably have donated more than the governments that represent us.
That's good, but I still dislike his music. Gaga's not as much, but its starting to lose originality. Her latest single sounds too much like something from Madonna.
And K$sha? lol. Still, it's a great act of charity for them to donate so much.
I suppose JB's a good kid. He's obviously not some ruthless asshole all his haters make him out to be. I guess that's just envy or stupidity.
