@ <nico:< small="">> So if Blackbeard suck Luffy's power out of him while his arm or something was stretched out, what would happen? Would he snap back as his power was being drained?
That is an excellent question. I really don't have a good answer, though I suspect you are right, his arm will be forced to snap back before the move is finished–is that what you were imagining as well? I recall reading a discussion on this forum about the affect of water/kairoseki on d/f ability users, and some interesting points were raised. In Robin's case when she had the cuffs on, and Smoker's during the time in the cage in Alabasta, as well, it appeared that they couldn't use their ability, but they were perfectly able to move their bodies around like normal. In Luffy's case, since his whole body is rubber, and he can't change that, the affect seems to be that he is unable to move (though others can move him), so I suppose my earlier point is moot, lol. While he may be strong, if he can't move, so it wouldn't matter. In the end we'll have to wait and see how Oda choses to show it, I guess, though I;d love to read anyone's else's ideas and theories about it.</nico:<>
