Autism Quotient Quiz
-
I got 33. Is that surprising?
-
25, and for some reason that didn't surprise me. Gathering tiny pieces of information has always been one of my favourite things to do and social events have hardly ever interested me.
-
Got a 30. Had no idea about autism before I came across this. Is it bad?
Always been a bit awkward in social situations, and love numbers and patterns. Hell, I am pursuing grad school with a focus on combinatorics! Again, is this bad? -
I got 17, is that good or bad?
-
Seems like that's the average, so no prob
-
Argh, there is nothing bad in being autistic.
So please everyone, calm down. I have an autistic disorder and I'm not drooling or peeing in my pants. Wait, I DO drool. When I sleep. But that probably has nothing to do with my autism >XD

Agree: 4,5,12,13,16,23,26,41,43,46: 1 point
Disagree: 1,10,15,24,32,50: 1 point
Score: 16How delightfully average.

It seems like a stupid quiz.
-
Sociable, but detail-obsessed.
Go figure, right?
-
35
I'm not really surprised at all, since I've known about my Aspergers since I was 7. Sometimes I freak out about small details but I've been working on acting more normal for a while. Most people can't even tell that I have Aspergers, which I'm glad about. I've seen a ton of people with Aspergers who irritate even me, so yeah.
-
Drooling in sleep is totally normal. I do it too sometimes.
-
24 points I scored.
-
31
NicoNico, Mr. Truth, Vepe…
This humiliation will not stand. -
I got a 24 .
-
I scored a 29. Hmm…:/ I'm surprised, yet not surprised.
This quiz does seem a bit broken, though.
-
I got a 9. I'm a unautistic!
Or maybe I just like to be sociable.
-
18, and that's tainted by life experience trumping genetics. that's also 18 in a city that averages 100.
@JERK:
…flaky fuzz brain who can't follow patterns and numbers very well and hates planning things, while preferring improv to the fullest...
dunno. i wing-it, too. it cuts down on certain paperwork and bullshit. is that more impatience or resistance to patterns? i don't know all the pscyho-logical what-not that gets published in important papers, but isn't ~better~ intuition grounded in experience? maybe a good hunch is the mind ignoring neuroglial middle men.
meh. that's my brain without cold medicine.
-
32? ….:ermm:
Whatever happened to a neutral/who cares option? I found it hard to think up the best answer for most of 'em. I rarely go out and do things; I stay locked up in my house and can only be sociable with certain people. Maybe I don't interact with others enough… What's the highest score you can get anyway?
-
This post is deleted!
-
I think 50 is the highest score.
-
I agree with Piratemarimo, a neutral option is missing.
It's so hard to decide for lots of questions… most of the time, it depends on the situation I'm in.Okay, I tried to answer all questions and got a 8 XD
I tried a second time and changed some answers and got a 11Whut? Really? I thought I would get a higher score O__o
-
Scored 14 myself.
I'm normal?
:V

I remember reading in a Psych textbook a few years ago, that if you really want to know your score on a personality test, you should take the test twice. The first time you take it by yourself, and the second time you give it to a trustworthy friend who knows you well and you say: "Fill this out for me, with honest answers based on what you know of me."
Then you compare your answers with their answers.
On any question where your answer differs wildly from your friend's answers, you should have a little discussion with them about why they perceive you differently than you perceive you. (But you have to be prepared for some potentially-unpleasant truths, so don't ask if you can't handle it). Maybe you're blind to something that you do that other people can see right through. Or it could be the opposite: they're blind to the real you.
But the key thing is finding a trustworthy friend … someone who can tell you the truth in a way that won't paralyze you or ruin your friendship.
-
There were about 10 questions that I felt "slightly" one way or another, but for the most part, I felt like it was either all one way or another, especially when it came to the questions about being social and reading other people and noticing details.

This humiliation will not stand. This humiliaton, what do you mean?
…. I CAN'T BELIEVE NICONICO IS AUTISTIC AS WELL! What is this bullshit? My lovable arch-enemy has SAME DISORDER AS ME?!
I'm very confused right now.And I didn't drool last night, woohoo!
-
so what..?
i drool on my pillow and i got 21 -
Thanks, now you proved that drooling has nothing to do with autism.
-

I'm very confused right now.Lol,I got a 32 and you got a 33,seems were different, but not to different. XD
-
This is madness.
We must be so alike that we like different things and annoy each other.
-
32, but I don't really obsess over patterns, numbers, or stay overly organized, I'm just socially awkward.

That sounds more like a game I know called, "Let's End This Friendship".
It's not very fun.

Yeah, agreed. That's why I've never tried it.
Who in their right mind wants to turn a night out into an episode of Oprah?
:ninja: -
You're tempting me to try it with my friends. But the problem is, my friends suck at English.
-
I got 16.
-
22. Makes sense since a teacher I knew always suspected I might have a mild case of Aspergers. I just hate change though and totally shut down when something interrupts my plans rather than adapt.
-
10. This test needs a neutral option. I like Hanging out with friends equally as much having time alone to sit and think/read. The test basically made you choose between one or the other.
-
When I took a Public Speaking class the teacher said we were allowed not cards to use while speaking to help follow a planned speech if we wanted but we would lose a few points.
I responded with "Why the hell would anyone want to plan a speech???"
-
Yeah, agreed. That's why I've never tried it.
Don
t you think that true friends already talk to you whenever they see something you may be blind for and which has to be talked about. In my opinion true friends are those who are honest to you, even when you may don
t like it..and also true friends are those who bring you to tears because they`re the one who let you think about an issue even when you always tried to avoid it.(knowingly or not)Non the less you shouldn
t overuse it and search for things they may don
t rly like on you, but still actually could easily life with, without having to talk to you about it to not unnecessarily hurt you in a way. -

If it comes up then it comes up but creating a social event where you are likely to bring up each others flaws could probably end badly even if it what was said was meant well.
score:24
quiz was kind of garbage. I don't think it's a sign of autism to have sharp ears or notice/ignore the minor changes make each day. Whether you're introverted or not can have a lot to do with your past and current environments you could relabel it as a quiz for depression and most of the questions would still make sense. I've seen a couple of ppl on FB using this to get their certificate of Aspergers which just makes me go :getlost:

Bingo.
I agree that good friends should be able to speak freely and truthfully to each other when the time is right for it – but most of the time when people take these kinds of quizzes they are looking for reassurance that they are "normal" (not for a dissection of their flaws of self-perception).
Unsparing honesty requires a superhuman sense of timing so as not to be devastating for the person it's aimed at.

Got 20.
M'kay I guess. -
I got 22. I suck at math and numbers.
-
Well, i got 33.
Understandable, i do have Aspergers after all, but people have always said that i'm extremely ''normal'' for someone who has Aspergers.
I'm not that fond of numbers, but i do hate being social, and i have barely any friends.
-
I'm not that fond of numbers, but i do hate being social, and i have barely any friends.
I actually also hate from time to time to be social..sometimes i make a fun out of it to behave differnent or simply being sometimes weird.
But without friends :-O
Now i have a pretty large amount of friends, but only a handful are rly those iam open and with them around i can be as iam.
Crazy but serious when i need to be.So i can actually handle any person and i like to interact with them(thats why i want to be a teacher) but iam sure not social role model.
From time to time i guess i need to be differnet, but maybe that gives me also sometimes the position to look into others a bit better.
Just be one day like those you don`t understand.
