@Muah:
The Baratie chefs were strong enough to fight the rest of the east blue pirates
In the same post you quote I just finished saying everyone in the East Blue saga was weak (except Mihawk) especially compared to now.
It's t The point is because Krieg was strong and his crew reflected that. Usopp probably would have problems with that though he fought equally with Kuro's crew.
Completely lost on any point you're trying to make. When did Usopp fight equally with Kuro's crew (a crew that was basically strength in #s?)
You forget WB's crew fought equally with the strongest forces the world government had.
This is irrelevant. There's NOTHING for me to forget since I never brought that up. It's not even the topic.
I was just using it as an example though Luffy fighting shanks is likely to happen. You missed the point in Luffy saying he wants his crew to surpass Shanks. It would be kinda stupid for that to mean reach their dreams… im sure what Luffy meant was to surpass them strength wise.
How is it stupid? If Zoro becomes the world's strongest swordsman he's surpassed or is at least on equal ground with whoever their swordsman is. Not that it would matter since I doubt the crews would ever fight. I don't get the point of bringing up an example not likely to happen. Are you saying the crew needs more than 11 ppl or that they need to get stronger and you don't think the likes of Robin and Chopper will?
I mean for Robin, chopper and Nami to really be that much of a help they would have to be many times captain level maybe even vice admiral level or above to make up for their lack of members.
That goes without saying.
