i have a question about the giants in skypiea do they appear in the clouds like they do in the anime where luffy and his crew see him. im on 304 and im worried i missed a chapter or something. i remember cricket or gon forr talking about them but i havent seen them. or is that seen in the anime a filler

Mellorine is a frozen desert, sort of like ice-cream but vegetable fat is used instead of cream. I think it can be quite sweet.
Another word question. What exactly does Mariejoa mean? It sounds French, but I'm not sure.
i forget is marejoa the marine hq or is it the baseof the 5 old stars and the marine hq is somethere else
I don´t know what the word itself means but to answer warps question, Maryjoa is not the Marine HQ but it´s the Holy Land where the Highest Authority of the World Government, the Gorousei sit.
Actually I'm not so sure the Gorusei live there….. they were at Marine Hq in Vol.32...

Nope they weren´t at the Marine HQ. They were at Maryjoa in the same room they were back in volume 25.
What happened at the Marine HQ is that marines noticed that Aokiji was missing. They then reported that via Den Den Mushi to the Gorousei at Maryjoa.

Chapter 377 will most likely be published in volume 39 which has not yet been released

Red Line is the ring of land that goes around the world and, together with Grand Line, separates the four seas from each other. This is explained pretty early on in the manga, and I think it's in the anime, too.
when they reach the red line, they'll have made it to the half of the grand line.

basically, the Red Line is the One Piece world's equivalent of the Prime Meridian, a single continent that stretches all the way around the world from the north & south poles (I'm assuming the poles bit). Reverse Mountain is part of the Red Line, so presumably the other side of the Red Line will serve as a half-way point for the Red Line.

Can someone find me a colored picture of Jango as a marine? I've been looking all over and it's really hard to find. Alternatively, can someone point me to the one chapter number where Jango first becomes a marine and is wearing the uniform and stuff.
The first time ever Jango was wearing Marine clothes was on the last page of his title page adventure which was in chapter 172. BTW, you see a cameo of Garp, Coby and Helmeppo on that one.
Jango´s first appearance as a Marine in the actual story though was in chapter 214. Hope that helps.

What is the correct name of Luffy's crew? Straw Hat Pirates or Luffy Pirates? I keep hearing it's Straw Hat Pirates but the Wanted posters on the back of the dvds say Luffy Pirates.
I think it would be both, but Straw Hat crew seems more popular. Go with what you like. (b^_^)b
Definitely Straw Hat Pirates. I don´t remember them ever refered as Luffy Pirates in the story plus this spread shows that Oda labels them as Straw Hat Pirates.
Well ok, according to my dictionary mugiwara just means straw and mugiwara boshi is the straw hat, but since I actually never heard that anybody directed Luffy as Mugiwara Boshi no Luffy I take it that in this context mugiwara can be translated as straw hat. But since I don´t speak any japanese I might be utterly wrong.

**I don't think there is a "official" crew name in one piece. If you notice all the crews in east blue were called by their captians name. I think that at one point people start calling the crew by the trademark of the captian. I mean, shanks flag doesn't show red hair.
Though the straw hat is Mugiwara boshi. In the subs or the raws I have heard no one ever say "mugi wara oshi" no luffy. It's always just mugiwara.**
Read my previous post and you´ll see that there is an official name. Oda himself labeled them as Mugiwara Pirates so there really isn´t anything to doubt about it.
