I think the million dollar question is are we done with the flashback? The only looming question is why is the Celestial Dragon in the Goa Kingdom but is that really all that important to know?
i gues it is…knowing more about the celestrial dragon and Goa kingdom would be pointless for a LUFFY flashback.
also we have right now the break and the climax is also reached with sabo`s "death"..
maybe 2-3 sites of flashback next chapter to come slowly back to the current storyline^^

This is a great setup. It gives Luffy a good reason to say that Ace is his only brother, and leaves us to speculate on whether Sabo is alive or not, and it gives Ace a good reason to protect Luffy.

The set up for this "death" is just way too easy. There is a reason Oda did it this way as oppose to just giving indisputable evidence of Sabo's death.
Given how Oda is and how he feels about death, it's all common sense that that Sabo is alive. I could be wrong…and if I am...well...that was a shitty end to such a promising character...and I do not see myself saying such words about Oda...never have...never will because I will never underestimate him.
Sabo isnt dead. Igaram died the same way. If he joined Dragon and Dragon told him to shut his mouth up and that they are not going for the war..when he shutted his mouth.
Sabo survived…but ended up with amnesia. I said it first.

Well he hasn't had much time with Luffy
Nobody knew who Luffy was until he got his bounty.
A little bit later he was in the Grand Line which is quite allot of ground together. He showed up in Arabsta causing an event that very few even knew he was involved in.
A little bit after that he disappeared to Skypeia and resurfaced at EL.
He stayed in W7 for only a few weeks and disappeared.
Resurfaced on Sabaody and almost immediately disappeared again.
As for why he didn't meet Ace, I can't explain that.

Sabo is dead, there is no point for him to be alive. It was nice to see that he died as a free man, just like Ace and Luffy carries on his own dream, while respecting Ace's last words.
Maybe in the next chapter the flashback will end with Ace sailing away from the island, which actually would be a beautiful parallel with Luffy accepting that Ace is gone.

The only way I see Dragon being able to save Sabo is if he's shown next chapter wreaking havoc on the nobles and royals in the High Town while the Tenryuubito is there. Unless that happens, I think it's safe to say that Dragon has already left the Goa Kingdom and in no position to save Sabo.

Fixed it for ya. I like that page because it really defines what "freedom" means for the boys, especially in the face of feeling so helpless over Sabo's "death".
And if Dragon was only there to save the people from the fire, he has some freaking amazing network for information! Of course, if it's been several days, he may have had time to dump the folks off somewhere and come back to deal with the celestial dragon…

Problem is we might still get some pages next chapter as well… I on the other hand finding his death very well written cuz it gave Ace and Luffy a much deeper realationship and it explained some things about them... And if he suddenly would reappear all that would be meaningless.

I kinda disagree that Sabo's apparent death being revoked would hurt the emotional drama associated with it.
If this was Ace, then I would agree. But I don't feel Sabo being revealed alive would render the emotions felt by Luffy & Ace, and by the readers, at stake.
If Sabo was alive all this time, I think it would make the broken promise to meet again in the sea even more terrible, since now Ace is dead, and they have never met each other in all these years while they still could…

Sad stuff…I guess some people saw it coming considering that Sabo was going out with the Tenryuubito riding by but it was still shocking to see it happen. At least this probably explains Ace's acceptance of Luffy afterwards. (and, of course, the "S" in the tattoo)

Dunno why this are just my 2 cents about it. I think Ace and Luffy inherited some traits of Sabo and even lived for that. Hell and if Ace did the tattoo (If it is really in honor of Sabo) than this would be meaningless as well.
And I find it still strange that after all this years they never met. Sabo should know that Ace and Luffy think he is dead if in the town all are saying a small little noble guy was shot by a big huge ass ship.

There is no way we have seen the last of Sabo; we will probably see him again pretty soon. I am surprised to see how many people think he is dead.
