The set up for this "death" is just way too easy. There is a reason Oda did it this way as oppose to just giving indisputable evidence of Sabo's death.
Given how Oda is and how he feels about death, it's all common sense that that Sabo is alive. I could be wrong…and if I am...well...that was a shitty end to such a promising character...and I do not see myself saying such words about Oda...never have...never will because I will never underestimate him.
Problem is we might still get some pages next chapter as well… I on the other hand finding his death very well written cuz it gave Ace and Luffy a much deeper realationship and it explained some things about them... And if he suddenly would reappear all that would be meaningless.
But I agree that it seems he might be alive... But like I said... A lot of things are against it and the Dragon theory isn't very good.
But who knows what Oda is planning.
