And don't forget Akainu. JUSTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't recall Akainu ever laughing.
On that note, next week's cover should be of the three Admirals as a barbershop choir trio.

Me neither aparently .
The guy has no sense of humour at all .
Nah, next week will feature Garp, Dragon, and Roger playing as a jazz band.

He did laugh (i.e. snicker) when he told Newgate that they are going to assure him a fancy funeral.
And I so approve of that cover.
@The:
did anyone notice that sabo's brother did the donflamingo laugh. did anyone find that odd?
It's his sister not brother.Not biological though.She may be Doflamingo after getting hormones from Iva.Joking ofc about the last one ^^ But yes she does have the same laugh with Dofla but BlueJam has also the same laugh,so I guess it's more common laugh than we thought.So Luffy is a son of a noble since Dragon is a son of a noble himself.Interesting.
Ps:About the laugh..Way too slow xD
@Cyan:
Nah, next week will feature Garp, Dragon, and Roger playing as a jazz band.
That would be great too.
@The:
yeah i guess you are right but something about him just screams donflamingo as a kid to me.
Dofla was there in Roger's execution before Ace was born. And that creepy kid is nothing like Dofla.
@No:
Me neither aparently .

And yet he made the funniest joke of all One Piece.
Oh the irony.

garp on the bass
Nice chapter. Sabo is just awesome to me. I wonder who is with Dragon. The endind with the tag line "Will they survive?" is kind of dorky. But that's what makes it shonen jump.
Okay , true . But then again it was more of a mock face .
On that note, next week's cover should be of the three Admirals as a barbershop choir trio.
Im waiting for my Mr.2 and Mr.3 cover.
If Oda keep doing awesome cover pics like this, I have no problem with no cover story for a several months.
ima curious if Stella will be in the future also a tenryibuto the SH will meet:happy:
If Oda keep doing awesome cover pics like this, I have no problem with no cover story ever.
Oda is a tight politician! He's kind of comparing Capitalism and Communism
This ain't just a manga, it has some kind of politics! It would make sense, coming from one of the greatest Manga creators/founders.
I didn't like the part of Bluejam pirates, but was hella amazed to see Dragon once again
Another thing i've noticed, The adopted Kid laughs like Doflamingo FuFuFu~
Might be his son, knowing Doflamingo is well known by nobles/celestical dragons, as he's the owner of the slaves auctions !
Might've raped one of the slaves out there hhaahaha
Eh, guys, I thought so far all these cover stories are depicting actual events that have happened. There hasn't been one yet where it couldn't be plausible.
I liked the cover story, Hina dragging Smoker around . The nobles are terrible, forcing Sabo to stay there and even setting the trash pile on fire, killing all of the people living there. And Dragon and Iva showing up surprised me, he'll probably put out the fire and maybe we'll get more information on his fruit. I'm still wondering what's going to happen to Sabo after this.
Except Coby and Helmeppo going to some random jungle with Tashigi before the end of battle .

Another heretic.

Does he? :blink:
This may be my favorite chapter in the entire manga. I was so excited the whole time In was reading it. It had dragon and another woman? Who is it? So good!
@The:
garp on the bass
Roger on the drums.
Dragon on the Saxophone .
@Al!naJames:
I'd imagine Akainu's laughter to sound like this
http://www.strimoo.com/video/16338567/waynes-world-fight-scene-MySpaceVideos.html
it's way at the end of the fight, but it's always fun to watch Wayne's Word 2 (the middle laughter is even more funny ;P).
I was for sure Bluejam would kill Ace and Luffy right after the Noble left
I find it interesting that Sabo's adopted brother has the same laugh as Bluejam
So what exactly is the "inspection unit" is and what exactly they inspect?
In the spoilers, I read that Iva-san was the one that said "Dragon..the preparations have been made" but based on the Manga, it doesn't show the face of the one who made that comment.
Personally, I think it is becoming somewhat clear that Sabo is probably a revolutionary.
"Will They SURVIVE!?!?!"… no shit, its a flashback lol :P
@Thousand:

I think the Hannyabal and Magellan cover shows the contrary.
@Kairouseki:
Dragon on the Saxophone .
And Whitebeard on archtop guitar for extra cool.
@Cyan:

When Newgate grows some D's of his own.
When Newgate grows some D's of his own.
Saul on guitar then.
Whitebeard plays in Shanks' southern rock band.
More like Newgate and Kaidou go clubbing with some hot nurses.
While Shanks studies objectivism vomiting all he has drunk the previous night.
Oda is reading this thread .
I'm starting to get the feeling that Sabo doesn't die: He ends up being that dog-hatted lieutenant in Dragon's army, after he thinks Ace and Luffy die in the fire.
Dang, I wonder what Sabo's dad dropped a fat stack of cash paid for the bribe. The bill on top, which I can only assume is the money all through the stack, was a 10,000 berry bill. Assuming the stack is the typical 100 bills, that's 1,000,000B. A lot, I guess, but not that much.
@Al!naJames:
I still shiver at cover (and this man says there's no romance in OP! Good grief!)
This, so many times. :cwy:
I'm starting to get the feeling that Sabo doesn't die: He ends up being that dog-hatted lieutenant in Dragon's army, after he thinks Ace and Luffy die in the fire.
Interesting idea. But… Luffy is world famous with 300 mil on his head now, so Sabo'd have to know about him being alive now. And IF he is too remote to know by newspaper or wanted posters, and IF he's one of the guys with Robin in that cover shot, then theoretically he'd know from her.
Maybe they do meet again sometime soon, but I'm thinking if Sabo is a revolutionary, and believes in the cause of overthrowing the WG heart and soul, I can't see him leaving the movement to join the lighthearted SH's and Luffy, whose goal is to be the Pirate King so he can be free, not to take over or conquer anything. The goals of the two groups (revolutionaries and SH's) are somewhat different, even if they often overlap in the means by which they are being achieved.
I think the Hannyabal and Magellan cover shows the contrary.
Eh? What's wrong with it? Think Hannyabal and Magellan never took a break and decided to fish together? Those two are pretty close outside a boss/employee level.
Sabo must be the REAL adopted brother. He's way too cute and normal-looking to be a noble!
I find it interesting that Sabo's adopted brother has the same laugh as Bluejam.
"Fufufu" is a COMMON LAUGH IN JAPANESE, i.e. HEHEHE, the SNICKER. Stop it.
Huh, weirdest thing about this chapter was Dragon's face. Here the guy looks either shocked or glum or something, whereas every other times we've seen him he's had a confident smirk on his face. Yeah, he's shocked by Sabo's words but he still carries on with that face after the lady (possibly Iva) arrives. I wonder what's going through this guy's mind right now. Has he not yet developed the confidence he's obtained in present time?
Well, I was arguing in the spoiler thread that we had no idea if Dragon even knows about Luffy's existance at the time of the flashback, but…
If he does know, I think its reasonable to think he may have overheard Sabo screaming Luffy and Ace's names at the top of his lungs. When he ran and then fell, it is perfectly reasonable for Dragon to ask what's wrong, without needing to explain why he's asking. That could explain Dragon's concerned expression.
But, then again, he never asked about Luffy when Sabo told him his story, so I'm probably wrong about that. So perhaps he's just extra affected by the current events and his relative powerlessness to do anything to change it, because its his homeland. It feels more personal to him than atrocities elsewhere, even though he feels bad about all of them.
damn i just love sabo
at first i thought the female at the end could be luffys mother, but then i came to this thread and saw its just ivankov being sexy
why do you guys think the kings face is blocked with the speachbubble?
@Thousand:

Well last time we heard of Magellan he was near death and wanted to kill himself so it would be strange for him to go fishing.
Well last time we heard of Magellan he was near death and wanted to kill himself so it would be strange for him to go fishing.
Hannyabal had been planning it for months. Being on the verge of death wasn't a good enough excuse.
They both got a vacation for the recovery
Well last time we heard of Magellan he was near death and wanted to kill himself so it would be strange for him to go fishing.
This is him being sent on some enforced R and R by the marines to help him get over his depression. One would assume that some time passed.

Thanks for clearing that up.
@Abo:

I was wondering the same exact thing. I don't think that is just a coincidence.
My first guess is that it is someone that got bumped up to World Noble status after the WG Inspection and is someone the audience has seen.
And a little something that needs much more attention.
When is the wedding, again?
The last dialogue "Dragon, preparations have been made" is enough for the chapter to be considered epic!
