By contrast, One Piece shows a shitload of blood for being a child's cartoon, even in the Anime. What immediately comes to mind is the episode/chapter where Luffy is climbing Drum Rock with his bare hands and his hands start to bleed.
In fact, the only big edit I can think of is of Zeff losing his foot. They changed it to his foot getting caught in an anchor rather than him being forced to eat it.

Thanks. Not like I'm some sicko that loves seeing people stabbed, but I have to admit that scene really adds to the drama of the fight. Without it, the fight really felt one-sided.
Yeah, missing the stab scene in the Absalom fight really ticked me off that day. I kept watching it going "something's missing" then it hit me. >.>

speaking of bleach anime, syzael eating his fraccion. In the manga he grabbed one of his men crushed the poor guys face and ate him like the guy was beef jerky. Yet in the anime he turns the guy into a energy ball than eats him….the only cannon part of bleach than really pissed me off.
And, Szayel popping outta Nemu's stomach changed to him "absorbing her spirit particles" and coming out of her mouth.

it's honestly comforting to know that they at least had the knife in the scene originally. I was pissed when that was aired. Hopefully when funi gets to TB, they'll use the original footage

Loli wendy introduces herself to older wendy, they chat. They ask how to get to the royal city but edoras's FT go on to hype how powerful the royal city is and they should just go back to earthland. They say how they destroyed guild after guild and killed edoras FT's guild master and all they can do is run. Natsu still wants to go. Back at the royal city we meet some more commanders, I'll start with hyuzu, he refers to many things as "amazing!" like earthland ft's magical power and erza. Bairo, creepy old looking dude, he's bugging erza about catching FT. Finally Panther lily, doesn't like small talk and hyuzu thinks he thinks he's better than the rest of them. Coco is talkative and the king Faust wants unlimited magic. Looks like Edoras FT didn't help natsu and co so they're footing it to the royal city, 5 days by foot I believe. Natsu ends up in a pinch and can't use magic, Lucy saves them because she was worried so now she helpin' them out. edit: oop it's edoras not erodas

well hoping that it doesn't just involve going to castle and fighting but they hav eother quests on the way there.
but kind of dissapointing in the fact that JUST Lucy seems to be coming along. Even in this Edoras world we are stuck with always lucy and barely anyone else comes along new.

I predict that both lucy's love natsu. like how certain core traits of characters arent changed, i think that her attitude is what changed.

I'm really digging this arc so far. It's a lot cooler than "Lol alts" that it seemed to be in the beginning. Would Natsu and other Dragonslayers have to eat fire to restore their magic, or would they need weapons like alt. Lucy?

Chapter was pretty good, more build-up and I liked that Lucy still retained some of the characteristics of her normal (or rather, alter ego) personality. Anime ep 17 is out aswell, enjoyable as always though it makes me wish I hadn't read the manga :/

Rather than Erza appearing (In front of everyone else), Erza was just shown shortly because they mentioned her. You didn't miss anything.
Kind of like how OP sometimes shows the shadowed image of the character that people are talking about, when they've yet to be actually introduced.

I guess this is how it is.
Zeref created Edoras in order to become the King of that World and gain magic power. However whether the characters are good or bad doesnt change, because he wanted to retain his villain character. So both Gerards are good…
