Now I may be misreading it, but it looks like Sengoku's punch makes Luffy bleed, this could be from fatigue and other injuries, but I think it may just be plain ol' Haki.

None of us noticed it was Mr. 3 and we're really familiar with him, and know him to be a devious pirate because we only got a slight glance at his face, and we just saw the full marine uniform.
Not to mention, he'd actually managed to get to the other side of the battlefield amidst the chaos. He's an incredibly low level tiny bounty beneath notice or memory, much like Buggy… was. (Particularly with a hat on covering his signature distinctive haircut)

idk if mr.3 had a wax-mask on, but seriously even in all that trouble and stuff going on, HOW ON EARTH didn`t someone notive that this guy is no marine…Because the idea of a pirate sneaking up onto the execution platform, right next to Sengoku and Garp is completely whacked. No big name pirate would do anything that sneaky, and anyone who is not a big name can't possibly get past the multitude of marines + VAs + the Shichibukais + the Admirals + Garp and Sengoku. That's why Luffy doing what he did was so shocking. Anyway, the Marines probably never thought that someone would dare to dress up as a marine and sneak up right next to the big guns.
Besides, it's chaotic there. And, the marines have been focusing on Oars Jr, the Division Commanders, most importantly Whitebeard, and finally Luffy. Taking out Whitebeard had become (or rather always was) a priority objective for the Marines, and he was not going to just roll over and die. Add to that the total unexpected factor of a rookie going berserk with King's haki, and rushing all the way to the execution platform. Given what was going on, it's understandable that the marines were not checking IDs of everyone in uniform.

FINALLY… PLEASE now can we END this arc, I'm soooooo freaking SICK of this arc, I was tried of it halfway through impel down, I want the crew back together already, at this point I'm so sick of the character cause their the only ones I have seen and I have seen enough, I never liked a number of the characters here to begin with, and luffy can only hold his own as an enjoyable character without the other strawhats for so long.
I hate the marines and everything about them, an entire arc built around their egotistical BULLSHIT and incorrect aspect of justice is disgusting.
Personally I think this has to be damn near the 2nd worst chapter, I know I'll catch hell for that, but COME ON, the only one worst was the davy back fights and those were HORRID, due to luffy's shear horrendous captaining abilities.
PLEASE ODA get this over with, ace is free they the pirates when.

I wouldn't sweat too much over the panel showing both executioners lifting their swords to kill Ace. It's there for dramatic effect.
Besides, what would have happened if Mr. 3 had parried or killed the other executioner at that point? He would have been taken out by the Admirals, or Garp, or Sengoku quicker than you can say "Wax Key". I don't think Mr 3 expected the execution order at that time, anyway.

Another great chapter. Who would've thought that candle boy mr 3 would have such a huge part in the war.
I haven't been too impressed with Whitebeard during this war, in terms of strength. He's done okay, like attacking Aokiji that time, and taking on a load of marines, but I wanted to see more of his ability. For the last few chapters, he's just been staring up, and in this chapter he looked as if he was going to stop Kizaru, but he didn't. I'm still hoping for him to go ape shit and put his all into one last big ass attack and allow everyone, bar him, to escape.
And the people who are whining because they want the SH crew back… shut up. We'll get plenty of the SH crew throughout the whole of the New World. It's good to have a change for once, and this arc has been the most tense of any so far.

Besides, it's not necessary that the Marines would need specially qualified people to behead a shackled person. Any Tom, Dick or Harry could have done that.

Very excitied that Ace is free! Now I feel like the story can really advance, and want to see how Ace handles an admiral. Please someone just give kizaru one good hit! I don't understand why it seems WhiteBeards hit last chapter appeared to have no affect on him.
Now how long is Luffy going to last? Is he going to pass out during all of this or fight with glory like ace?
Very unexpected that Mr3 would be up there, and to Luffy now he is truely fodder once he learns how to burst out his aura.

but everyone who take a step on THAT scaffold should at least be checked by sengkoku in my eyes...but again you have to be right..he most likely ordered two random marines to the scaffold and in that moment mr.3 took his chance to take the position in that chaos..iam actually okay with that, cause it was a nice twist that mr.3 was on the scaffold and it isn`t THAT important..just wanted to point it out that this is a little weird for me...

Just noticed that Sengoku's punch was able to bypass the rubber defense even in balloon mode. You know he can handle probably any fruit he wants.
And now we are one big step closer to the straw hats reuniting.

I haven'T read the topic, but Sengoku can't have the giant fruit, can he? The antagonist from Round the Land had that if I remember correctly, and Oda has to say he won't be using a fruit for the anime and stuf to use them…

My guess for Sengokus DF would be an ancient zoan type. Look at the pics, he's clearly some sorta animal. Most likely ape of some kind, since he has tail and all. My first guess was gorilla, but gorillas dont have such a long tail.

They should be specially trained ones, I mean they have a special uniform aswell (the other marines don't have those bonnets) so it's a bit much to expect that mr.3 managed to sneak back there and got lucky enough to be hand-picked to go on the scaffold. If I am to believe he pulled this off, I assume he went into the "executioner changing room" and knocked out the real one, put on his clothes and replaced him..

It's because of the way his fruit works. Magellan's fruit is particularly nasty and it easily makes him Admiral level. Teach can only negate a fruit's power by making contact with the person, He can't nullify its existence after it's created. If that was the case, Teach would be the most broken character in the series. Period. That said, the poison that Magellan already produced is still there, and Teach would have to absorb that. Teach takes the full force of any damage, unlike most Logia, so taking in that much poison would be fatal to anyone.

About BB I would actually prefer him not to show up at the war, but finding out after the war he did something big while the war was going on. Like blowing the Holy Land and part of the red line away with an ancient weapon or some shit like that.

Awesome chapter. But now it seems that the real fight is just beggining. Granted the pirates just had a massive morale boost and Ace is extremly valuable due to the fact that he is the natural enemy of Aokiji and that he will be able unfreeze Joze but that still leaves them all in a horrible position. Marco is injured heavily and his powers are negated, Whitebeard is on the verge of death,they don't have a ship if memory serves me right,they are surrounded by a metal wall and of course the Shichibukai and Pacifistas.
If something massive doesn't happen,even more massive then Whitebeard destroying the island I don't see them surviving. As of now I see three possible ways they can make it
