RE: Star Wars: The Old Republic
Checked out the game with a trial pass. Looks cartoony, but fun.
What are the good EU English servers? I made trial characters in Red Eclipse and Nightmare Lands, but server populations seem low even in these higher populated servers. Or maybe, I was on at wrong time.

I jelly, I jelly, I so jelly!
Any of you guys in EU (English speaking) servers? A couple of my friends and I plan to buy the game post-launch, once digital purchases are available.

RE: Star Wars: The Old Republic
I am not very clear about the servers. Is SW:TOR going to have separate US and EU accounts, or a common account for US and EU? Will you be able to switch between US/EU servers at will (or, for a fee)?
One mistake I did with WoW was to join US server. Once I had reached 70, I realized that most raids happen early morning for my local time. So I was thinking that if I play SWTOR, I'd rather play on EU timezone.

RE: Most overrated movies?
@Thousand:
Slum Dog was fun and how the dude managed to answer all the questions despite being a back-street urchin and was executed quite well being a mixture of luck and street-smarts tied along with fate. That said it was a bit tedious at times.
It was outlandish and far-fetched. And, being an Indian, I felt it harder to suspend disbelief regarding some questions, which a street urchin would not know (for example, I doubt municipal public schools teach proper english, let alone The Three Musketeers).
That being said, the movie was carried on the shoulders of the amateur child actors - who were delightful (and were actual street urchins). It was a okay to good movie - but not in anyway did it deserve all teh accolades it got.

RE: Most overrated movies?
I saw Despicable Me a week or two ago, and I have to agree. An extremely mundane movie.
Nothing new. Mediocre writing. Hit and miss jokes. Lame villain. Underdeveloped characters and plot. And I never saw the relationship between the mad scientist (I forget his name) and the three girls as anything but creepy.
Minions .

RE: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
How do you rely on a series whose last game was put out 5 years ago?
SW sequels are kinda disappointing. KOTOR was imo the best SW game ever. Aside from some very annoying technical bugs, the game was good and had an awesome plot. KOTOR 2 was, while being better in some cosmetic respect, very rushed and - weirdish.
I liked FU for most parts. Yeah, the whole spaceship levelon PC SUCKED, and the camera angles during many a boss-fight were fucked up, but overall it was okay. FU2 made me go "wait, what? It's over already?"
One thing though - that Vader vs Starkilller II/Clone was badass - scripted though it might be.

RE: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2
Just installed the game and started playing. Abrupt start. Kinda choppy gameplay, and visuals are not too apealing.
But it's always always fun to froce grip stormtrrpers off bridges.

RE: Most overrated movies?
That's also one of my bugbears..the bad guy was a lot more likeable (he makes quite the magnificent bastard) than the heroes..I mean wtf? :/
You could say the same for a lot of movies actually. Heath Ledger dominated The Dark Knight so much that it's more a Joker movie than a Batman movie. Anthony Hopkins completely owned the 19-odd minutes of screentime he had in The Silence of the Lambs. Almost every actor in Star Wars Trilogy overshadowed Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker - especially Vader and Solo.
I have nothing against bad guys overshadowing the leading actor, as long as the character is awesome, and the portrayal is awesome. Waltz was just that - awesome.
