It's a real shame that WB has that same haki, because that way it's starting to be nothing that special anymore and the extent of power doesn't seem to be all that special either (even if this could be the reason why WB can still hold his own against the admirals - wounded all over, weakened by age and desease). Seriously, we were all hoping for him to be King Pops without any help of haki and pure brute strenght + DF of course!

Good chapter, anyway. Crocodile really shows that he has switched sides (though, I was kinda hoping he'd continue his battle with Doflamingo) and the return of Inazuma is always welcome. I'm getting a bit tired of Garp taking action every time Sengoku is supposed to, though. :P

but wtf on mihawk bashing. first of all he has clashed with some strong guys, and he looks like an admiral right now in health/injry wise. he isn't tired/fatigued/injured/bleeding/cut/ect at all. then him getting blcoked by das bones on his ranged attack then quickly taking him out in one hit with close range should prove to opeple that you can't judge his attack earlier on jozu if he can cut diamond or not.
then croc blocks him when he tried attacking luffy. so what, blocking an attack doesn't prove you are ever stronger. we have seen tons of blocking attacks in this series. hey lets think back to when zoro and sanji both blocked aohije before water 7 when he attacked. well then guess zoro and sanji are stronger than him huh.

. But Oda is already releasing steadily with high level of art and detail and without dragging so not complaining here…but if we would be shown more details and surroundings of current moments it could be pretty damn nice

yea no big deal on having that king's haki. i mean supposedly 1 in a million have it, was it? now in our world that means 6000 people would have it. don't know the population of one piece, but based on how there was like a million people in teh arabasta war, i think its safe to say there are probably at least 10 million people in the world if i'm going to super low ball it big time.
and so what then, possibly 7 people isn't being insane. and those 7 are insane people. hell i prefer teh super top dogs having it. its better they ahve it and luffy beats them, than them not having it and it seems like luffy is only amazing due to his haki. this way they are on even ground.
I don't think that the "Will of D" is the haoushoku haki… I think it's some other thing, and since WB saw that Luffy has the haoushoku haki, and that he has a D. in his name, he made 1 + 1 = 2, and concluded that Luffy is gonna be one of the big figures who will help to forge the next era...
And it's too soon to conclude that Ace has the haoushoku haki. The WB's pirate only has pointed Whitebeard and Redhead as haoushoku users... And I don't think that Ace would have lost the fight against Blackbeard if besides the logia akumanomi he also had the haoushoku haki.
Huh…another action filled chapter, but not a lot of resolution. At least things are getting closer to the end. I'm disappointed that haki didn't get more description this chapter, but from the looks of things it has a chance of being brought up in good description after this war.
Also, I'm extremely disappointed that the Donflamgino/Croc conflict was tossed aside this chapter--though that panel with Croc clashing with Mihawk was good. I'm really hoping a few shichibukai get pushed into actually fighting in this war. It's so ridiculous that only Croc and Moria have actually gotten hit so far, and it was only one hit at that!

yea really, i'm sure his page numbers isn't due to lack of work or anything but he probably has like 40+ pages in front of him at a time when he needs ot hand in a chapter and thus grabs where he thinks is the best cliffhanger each week.

Luffy was apparently born with it. Knowing that no baby isn't ambitious but that it was in him not activate (like a power that has yet to be accessed and used) i guess it's safe to say that wb's ambition didn't decrease… His body and heath on the other hand is a complete different thing.

well there is no need for a sbs.haki can read moves,wb being stabbed is a shock for Marco,and his bad condition(BEFORE being stabbed) was the reason.right now he is even more damaged,so he probably cant master it

Well, since the other Yonkous are probably gonna be at full power, not as old and or as sick as WB is… And since their fights are probably gonna be properly focused, not being shown only little parts of the fights as in this battle... Yes, I would say the other Yonkou may look more impressive in the future...

Hahaha, I knew this chapter was going to be hell for the fandom. Too bad Stephen isn't around anymore. Although I am glad Aohige is. Anyway, I'm sure there are still more surprises for Ambition (Haki) down the road, but for now I am content with saying "I was wrong" for a good bit of it. That being, who and how many people can wield it, how many people may or may not have the Supreme King's Color (Houshouku), etc. I was being hopeful, and hopefully some of those hopes will still be true, but for now….oh well!

Mihawk has been fighting, but Garp barley was. Mihawk is pretty much admiral level. He still didn't get hit yet.
Whitebeard is old, but it's not necessarily that he doesn't have the ambition or has become wise, but he lacks the youthful vigor, that his Haki is waning. I'm guessing that in his youth, not only does he use Haoushoku, he may have been able to use Haki defense and prediction as well.
Garp and Sengoku should be going through the same problems as well.

Haki doesn't seem like something taht you acquire and eventually lose. If WB once exhibitted Houshoku (damn, did I spell it right?), then it's pretty safe to say that he still has it.
The interesting (in my opinion, at least) question would be, is King's Haki a type of Haki, or a degree of haki?
From what we have seen so far, it seems that it is, indeed, a type of Haki.
So, if it is just one (and a very rare) type of haki, then it's obvious that there are other variants of haki, which are arguably less potent.
Now, can one individual have multiple types of Haki?
Since, Haki is "ambition" or "disposition" or some sort of intrinsic quality, I believe, that one person cannot have multiple types of haki.
Therefore, if WB ever had haki, and that haki was the King's Haki variant, and if WB had empowered his bisento a few chapters back with haki, then it stands to reason that WB is still using King's Haki.
The current strength of WB's haki would be debatable. There might be two ways of looking at it:
a) Due to WB's old age and illness, his haki also has been weakened. So his haki is no longer powerful enough to knock people out.
b) WB's haki itslef is still as powerful as it always was. It's just that WB is no longer strong enough to weild it properly. So the reason WB did not knock out the guards himself could be because he did not have enough stamina,mystic juju or whatever it is that triggers said haki burst.
I'm guessing that in his youth, not only does he use Haoushoku, he may have been able to use Haki defense and prediction as well.
Back when Ace was still trying to kill WB on a daily basis, even during WB's sleep, to me that was haki prediction.
