For one WHOLE week, you will have to read the chapter 2-3 days after the spoilers come out. And from there you return to the usual 7day cycle. Not hard, it's just that I don't mind spoilers, and it's nice to get some theories going before the chapter starts. The whole fun is in between the release of the chapter and the release of the spoilers :P That's how we keep our week 3-4 days instead of the usual 7. Reading spoilers is the secret to long life!

He probably was going to resign, sengoku didnt want to let that happen, so they restrained him and turned him into a complete government machine.

That would explain the attacking of Iva.
It would also explain the fact that he said "him and luffy would never meet again" and them meeting again is against his will, since hes not even Kuma anymore.

It is indeed very far fetched I must admit haha.

Im sure they could eventually retain him, or even trick him.

I could see Sengoku sticking a chip in him while he sleeps or something like that.

Im sure with a combination of the three admirals, vice admirals, other powerful people involved with the WG. Im sure they could eventually restrain him, it would probably be worth the effort cause Kumas a badass.

I mean, they could use a gigantic magnet or short circut him or something.

more like because he shot Luffy's mom (who was lying sickly on a couch that looked exactly like the one in my house) in the face with a gun, after which he brutally kicked Luffy's ass, and not in the One Piece way where Luffy would just be lying on the floor with some blood or bruises or whatever, but he seriously fucked him up.

Then he transformed into a huge mulitple armed (with his head on the tip of every finger) monster that would be considered scary in Berserk.

And that was only the beginning of my dream. I'll spare you the part where my house became a battlefield in which he, for some stupid reason, looked like Brad Pitt from the movie Troy, with the added bonus of Achilles' invulnerability.

So yeah he scares me now.

and that's like the second time in a row someone got killed with a gun in my dreams.

lol i agree that Kuma isn't as badass as some people make him out to be but he is still pretty powerful or he wouldn't be a shichibukai. (That was just in case you weren't being totally sarcastic) (:ninja:Sarcasm Ninja)

My only real problem with kuma is that people make him out to be a god killing super machine that is unbeatable, which is obviously not true, and hype the hell out of him.

Like if Kuma had some computer doing the calculations for the chances of them meeting again, or based on Zoro's damage and damage he is going to recieve whether he would survive or not.

And the computer told him the chance was 0% or maybe even a super small number that the computer reads as improbable or impossible.

And by having zoro and luffy (or strawhats) do what the computer predicts as impossible, is just Oda's way of just reminding us that what they are doing is amazing and not thought to be possible. Or like a hidden reminder, not totally obvious but for close readers they pick up the subtle hint.

This would imply a machine Vegapunk built was faulty. Besides I think we would have some indication that Kuma was relying on #s when he decided to do that. If a computer is involved like the Terminator the best and final option would be to kill.

I personally don't buy the story that Kuma is a revolutionary but i do think that he isn't a bad guy so he is actually trying to help the straw hat crew suceed even though he openly, as a shichibukai, is against them, I think maybe he sees something in them that is good or admirable like wen Zoro sacrifices himself for Luffy. I hope this is clear.

well yes both good points, besides fact of saying vegapunk can't be wrong. Sure he can be perfect in every way and calculation possible, except when referring to the strawhats. tehy are the exception. Heroes in the story always change the future than what is predicted.

But as for Kuma wanting to help the strawhats, what he did is still helping them. As for Zoro dying, I'm sure he had all intent to have him die. He felt his death would have honorable and didn't spare him cause he liked him. Zoro just lived. And as for his prediction to never seeing luffy, it could be the computer predicted that luffy would be killed at amazon lily, or maybe even kuma may not survive the war, thus never meeting again.

Yet Luffy as Zoro did, did the impossible. He managed to get Hancock to fall in love with him and then also somehow end up at the war. Both I'm sure you can agree are improbable.

I dunno, but at the end of Thriller Bark, when he is speaking out to the world and mentions Dragon…makes me feel he knows the guy.

But it could be he knows him as an enemy....but I hope it's as a ally.

People don't say heavy stuff like never meeting again in a story to be completely wrong only 4 days later, and with Kuma acting a bit strange now (he isn't much of a talker but he always said something!) we have to start assuming something happened to the "real" Kuma.

Maybe it's just me, but I took that phrase an an indication that Kuma actually intended to die in the war and had nothing to do with Luffy's life. He simply didn't expect Luffy to be….uh....Luffy....and wind up at the epicenter of shitsville.

Wait a minute, just because Kuma is a member of the Revolutionary army doesn't mean he could have help out the Whitebeard crew in any way. Since when the Revolutionary Army have an obligation to help out the Whitebeard crew? Again, Kuma and the R.A. have really no interest in doing anything with them(hence the Ursus Shock on Oars). Now, that might change because Luffy is now involved so we will see.

i'm 50% sure Luffy will die on his second trip to grand line (after meeting up with everyone he promised to meet/fight again) as a result to his intensive lifestyle.

Kuma was never a talker and he's about the only one of the top tiers who isn't insane, cause he ain't talking to himself constantly like all the rest. he's the kinda guy who talks to actual persons who stand right in front of him. or do you guys stand in the middle of the shopping mall shouting stuff when non of your friends/relatives taged along?

on that joining matter, Luffy always makes friends with all the weird looking creatures, was Gaimon canon? and he has an instant friend-pass with most of the animals, cause they are on the same mental level… if he'd collect all those thingies, he'd have a devision of hercule beetles and kung-fu seals by now.

I don't want to say you're wrong in what you say, just that there are multiple interpretations possible. If his parting comment to Luffy indeed meant he was expecting to die in the war, I would have thought he'd make a comment atleast when he saw Luffy again. So there might be something fishy going on. Or maybe Oda is just keeping his thought processes a secret and him attacking Ivankov is just as the latter theorized, a way to mask his dubious affiliations. We'll have to see if we get more clues once the spoilers are out :)

Since only Kuma can perform the Paw Paw techniques then it is bloody obvious that the bible can be placed elsewhere while fighting if he wants to do so. Freaking hell he's a cyborg, he can probably open a cabinet in his chest and place it there if he wants.

She is of age. With this comes a hotness in combination with innocence [urge to protect] and arrogance [unattainability/challenge] (albeit both an act). With her profuse pride and arrogance, at 17 or 19, wouldn't she come across as immature and annoying? It is said wine only gets better with age. I'll wait till I'm 92 to see whether that's true.

I dunno, I don't see a shichibukai, with her own pirate crew, her own country and an empress at that, leave everything behind to be a member of the strawhat crew. I could be wrong and it won't be the first time, but what of her people? She loaths those who deserted her country [Nyon]. Though love is a hurricane, without further motivation IMHO, she won't. At best she'll be an affiliated pirate, not a crew member.

Unless Luffy asks her to join. ^^
