Thanks for the RAW! I love how Luffy just keeps on impressing everyone, that last spread really says it all. Can't wait to see what happens with Moria vs Jinbei, should be an interesting match up of abilities.

But what disturbs me is that the corpses Moria revived with his DF look like TB zombies … I mean is there Hogback around (they have stitches and don't look like humans)...

Really nice chapter! This Arc is getting better and better.
But what disturbs me is that the corpses Moria revived with his DF look like TB zombies … I mean is there Hogback around (they have stitches and don't look like humans)...
I'm not sure how Moria manipulated them without a proper translation or explanation but they look like they could of been dead that were long buried in the ground. While I do agree that a few of them look very Thriller Bark-ish and one of them is a horse looking creature, it's hard to tell at this point what or where they're coming from.

A four armed gunman returns as fodder again, hahaha.
I could understand if they were bodies that had been buried there for ages, but they ARE all mismatched like the TB ones, weird…
And so many people got excited about actual casualties. Maybe next time!

well luffy still has that problem of logias to deal with. so until he figures that out Ace wins for sure. Otherwise if luffy could right now hit logias, who knows. I would still say no. I mean blackbeard vs. Ace seemed like Oda made it look like it was basically a draw except BB wins barely.
And Luffy can't beat BB right now i don't htink from how it was shown in impel down. So either way i still think Ace wins

Yeah, something like "I can make as many zombies as there are dead"? I thought so too, and I thought the stitches were there in case fresh corpses were too gruesome. But then why is there a man with a horse body and four arms, and mixed up animal creatures?

Oh, glad to see that Luffy actually get some hits from the Marines, instead of just owning everyone there…And I'm pretty sure that Oda just wanted to draw Moria rising Zombies (That part rocks) as they were foder for Jimbei and that Giant dude.

I would assume the World Government doesn't want to give the revolutionaries any press or legitimacy to what they're doing. Pirates generally are in it just for themselves whereas the revolutionaries have a clear cut goal: the specific destruction of the World Government as a whole.

My guess is that the Revolutionaries are relatively new players in the game. Vivi was only a kid when the meeting of kings was held, and then they were only starting to take him seriously. They didn't expect a legitimate threat for another ten years (which would be present day).
Meanwhile, the Navy and the Seven Warlords of the Sea have probably been around decades, if not centuries. The Four Emperors may be more recent, depending on whether they existed in some form prior to Roger's time or not.

your right. The Shichi could have been around for centuries unless they put them there just for the great age of pirates which is the present.
I think Dragon is not a world power because he can't summon as many allies as say the Shichi, Yonkou, or WG. The revolutionaries must work in the shadows so it must be hard to gain allies.

Great chapter!
It seems like everyone is going to help Luffy to reach Ace, that's pretty cool. A more typical shonen would make the hero storm the place alone, but this is a story about friendship and comradery and that's what make it special.

God this chapter is awesome. It's not even the typical huge revelation, or crazy battle awesome. Just Oda has been building up and building up the Strawhats. They get knocked down a few pegs along the way. Then all of a sudden Luffy is surrounded by the big dogs and he's the center of attention and manages to get in the good graces of the strongest man in the world. I'm just loving every bit of this arc.
Also it seems as though we might start getting some pairing off if Jinbei and Moria are indicative of the pacing of this battle.

How did Moria get the dead body in an form of an animals? Anyway, it's nice to see zombies again. I never thought it's easy for Moria to find dead bodies and use shadows out from no where.
