A comparision of Buggy and the Joker;
They're both clowns.
They're both evil/misunderstood.
They're both influental.
Could it be that Buggy has a similar psychological makeup to the Joker?

Are you mocking me?
Maybe you should directly ask Oda himself cause noone will be able to answer that question. And as you probably already know from my previous post, i highly doubt it is the case.
So my answer to your question is: no.

That's why it's in the thread of theories, not the thread of facts.
So you're right, people won't answer, they're supposed to speculate.
That wasn't even a speculation to begin with. And if you throw out a bad speculation people will comment on it regardless if you want it or not…
Well, I asked a question to encourage people to speculate.
! And maybe the question was crap.:ninja:
Hello,
I think there won't be any new logia fruit anymore. We've seen all the logia in the one piece world.
So far we have seen :
-fire
-thunder
-sand
-ice
-smoke
-light
and finaly darkness
If we assimilate sand as earth and smoke as air then I can't see which new element we could find.
Salt, plants, wood, water (maybe), sound, glass, plasma, there are many many others too. Anything natural that you can think of can become a Logia. And I don't understand your lumping of smoke and air/wind and of sand and earth. I mean Akainu has lava which is as similar to fire as the ones you listed.

Logias can only control their own element. Crocodile can't control earth, and Smoker can't control actual air. It's like Aokiji freezing water, but not controlling the water itself.
Well, there are three filler Logias;
Gasparade (Candy-Liquid)
Honey Queen (Goo)
And Simon (Paper)
I know they are rubbish and a crime against the OP world, but they were approved by Oda, so it just goes to show what he can do.
Oh, another one. Natural gas.
I actually like the paper one.
Wasn't Honey Queen water? that's really the only one that works, though, because as far as I'm aware candy and paper aren't natural .
@Kairouseki:

Yeah, sure, water's pinky-purplish. No problem. Gee whizz, dudes.
I haven't seen the movie in forever but almost every time when someone talks about her they say she's water :ermm: .
wasn't she syrup?

I think she was just liquid…:ermm:
Yeah, toro just means liquid, from what I know. Gasparde's Fruit was called the Candy Candy Fruit, but it was more like a cross between jello and Clayface's morphing abilities.
I theorize that Tashigi is Kuina.
My basis is this pic from the manga:
http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-005/page016.html
If you take a look at the middle of the page a piece of cloth is covering Kuina's face, maybe this could explain Tashigi's extremely bad vision. And that something happened to her memories due to the accident. At first I disregarded the relationship first hand because of the coffin scene in the anime, but then going back I noticed that it never appeared in the manga.
If I missed something ciritical, like a cannon flash back later on with Zoro someone let me know.
That is an interesting theory, I just dont want it to come true. Thinking back to Colosus from X-men and Beast from Ultimate X-men it just makes me angry! And Kuina is such an "Uncle Ben" how could Oda ever write her back in the story and make it believable and us accept it?
I think that D stands for Devil or Demon. The World government destroyed an entire civillisation of demons and took over. All that remains of them are their decendants (the D's), who survived because some humans and giants were impregnated by demons (which means demons musta been all sorts of sizes) and managed to escape the World Government (much like Portgas) and devil fruits, which were the demons way of combat.
I have evidence that it's probably true: Look at any pic of Roger or Dragon smiling.

The problem is that the "D" is translated directly from Japanese, so it will be a huge coincidence if the Japanese for devil or demon actually starts with a "D".
Anyone to confirm this?
Japanese for Devil is Akuma. This almost seems too obvious, considering Devil Fruits are called "Akuma no mi"-"Fruit of the Devil".

Anyone to confirm this? (I'm looking at you, Kariouseki)
Well, none of the D's have Japanese-sounding names anyway, so it would actually fit best if the D. was standing for a foreign word.

Kuina is buried, and how can zoro not know that she is alive cause he stayed at that town for years, even if there is a possible way that she was rescued by someone. Now zoro is fighting with Kuina to become the Best Swordsmen.
you can say that Tashigi is Kuina Twin sister, cause mybe they have teh same Age (21) whiel zoro is 19
Why are you looking at me to confirm? Plus as others have said Luffy, Garp, Dragon, aren't Japanese names so it most likely won't be something Japanese. I'm expecting Davy as in Davy Jones and all of them are descended from him.

I think they were only confirmed in the sense that Oda wasn't planning on using them in the canon.. which makes sense since paper or candy hardly seem to be an element of nature like ice, light, sand, lightning, but a human-made one.

Don't worry about it. I looked at you cos you were the only one I knew to know Japanese on this forum.
Seems there are others too. (A DUH MOMENT)
Just for future reference I don't know Japanese . I can read Katakana, Hiragana, and a few Kanji and have a Japanese dictionary addon for Firefox.
D can actually be used to from Densetsu, that could work but why would Oda use romanized Japanese
After seeing the latest developments in One Piece I came to a theory that Luffy might be Roger reincarnated
Why you ask, so he could look over Ace

That's..both oddly sweet and hella creepy. XD
I don't know if anyone's said it yet, but the idea that Usopp is actually and incredibly powerful warrior with an army of 8,000 men and just travels with luffy so he can keep tabs on him, utilizing his potential, and when Luffy finds One Piece Usopp beats him up and steals it, is an awesomely hilarious idea.
God I hope that's how one piece ends.

He'd need to explain that bullshit during Water 7 and the Merry. That'd go against his plans if he felt Luffy would always be the one to get OP.
Ironically enough Usopp doing that is exactly what CP9 did to Iceberg and Galley La. Never heard this theory, I like it. It's dumb tho…...
lawls
We all know that Usopp's lies will become true in the end so why not 8,000 men. Though I doubt that he's an evil genius who hide his true power.

Although it would be awesome if it ends that way, I agree.
I was wondering: do you guys remember the fake spoiler that mentioned Blackbeard fiding Poseidon in Impel Down? You see… THAT doesn't make sense at all, since if the World Goverment had such a weapon they surely would use it in the present war or in many other ocasions to ensure their victory. By that I mean that they would never have locked it up in Impel Down and therefore Blackbeard would never find it there.
Now ... here is my thought line: what if some of the ponegliphs were located in ID? (I don't know if anyone had this idea before, if that is the case I apologize) I think it makes sense since the WG would find very enjoyable to put their hands on the acient weapons.
Another point is that even though without Robin they have no way to translate it, they might be able to recapture her at some point in the future or find other means to make sense of it.
My bet is that Teach, as well as Roger, is able to hear the voice of all things and thus he is able to make sense of the ponegliphs which will put him in the right track of acquiring the acient weapons.
What do you think?
This is a Theory about Brook.
Brook represents White & Black.so… WB B.
White Beard Brook! Omfg super theory!
Somehow connected to WB?
Well at least Brook and WB are at the same age I suppose … maybe Brook's crew got screwed by WB pirates?
Is there any hint of a pirate flag in the manga?

So when BB said he was going to shock the world to its core, he was talking about reading a poneglyph? I was kind of hoping for something more spectacular than that.

You have a point there.
But maybe it could they could reveal something that spectacular that could shake the WG. Or not.

Time for me to repost this.@IrishLuigi:
Still no canon female logia user?
Oda needs to get on that.

well based off the type of fruits Oda has given more recent females perfume wouldn't surprise me as his female logia XD. Though it is man made.
face it…to Oda women are objects who play in soap bubbles and do laundry...you can't take them seriously...

What if one of the Yonkoi is a woman?
What if one of the Yonkoi is a woman?
There won't be that. Even though Hancock is one of the weakest in the group and has a hilarous, slightly sexistic power, she is still a Shichibukai, and girls of her strength level are very seldom seen in Shonen mangas. I doubt Oda will make someone even stronger.
Haven't we gotten a picture of the 4 yonkou.. maybe Oda will change their design from the vague picture in Coby's story, but I doubt he'd change the gender.
