I am still hoping for Kuroobi's grandma and master. An old-small-kickass-stingray-fishwoman (she would pretty much look like a gray-haired Kurrobi, but with Nyon's face :D and only 1 meter tall :D) who will be Sanji level of strength.
I'm thinking a 50\50 chance on Jinbei joining. On the one hand, he's a strong fighter, equal to Sanji, or Zoro on land, and his dream seems to be to end the racism on Fishmen and Merfolk (based on the way he spoke of Fishman island before it was took under Whitebeard) and if WB dies, then he might wanna join to get his message across the world if Luffy becomes the Pirateking. Then again, if WB dies, He might wana stay and protect FI. I think he should join

I dont mean to belittle Boa Hancock, but i dont believe shes one of the stronger Shichibukai right now. I also look at Mr 2 Bon Clay as a possiblity, especially after his feat at breaking Luffy out of level 5. Then we'd have 7.5 men and 2.5 women

From what i've seen so far, I would think that Jinbei is the best candidate for most likely to join. Once the crew gets to fishman island, it should probably get easier to tell if he'll actually join since he's at least probably going to be with Luffy in Fishman island.
If Jinbei joined the crew…he'd be in the same power tier as the 'Monster Trio', yeah? Firstly, mathematically, that's crazy, because a trio's three, not four. Secondly, he's arguably a monster himself. Bit racist. No-one likes a racist.
I prefer the idea of the SH getting stronger themselves, with the current crew, rather than adding in extra muscle to take on the NW.
I'm of the opinion that, the SH will all get noticably stronger during their separation. I would not be surprised if Kuma sent each SH to their present location because they'd get most strong in that environment. It's not like he took guesses, he's seemingly well-informed, he's Vegapunk's bitch, and he knew that Usopp was Sogeking (or Vice Versa) back on TB. I just wonder why he'd pull such a stunt....

People are taking their fear of Jimbei too far. Saying a recruit should not be more powerful than Luffy is a sound argument, even if its limited by the fact that there is no straightforward method to gauge strength in One Piece.
But warping this into a fear that the crew would stop/no longer need to progress is bull. Where they're going they need strength and ALL of the crew continuously progress.
