Orochimaru will come back to life, and take control of Sasuke's body and right before he destroys the world Naruto realizes that he's the same just like he was the same with Sasuke, Neji, Haku, Lee, Nagato, Gaara, and etc. Then while watching a speech to Orochimaru about how they're the same, Madara will realize that he's also the same as Naruto and then use a technique that costs the user his complete existence to go back into time before any bad stuff ever happened. The end.

Weirdly the thing that stood out to me about this chapter was, we got hints about Kakashi's dad a while ago, and when Kakashi died I'd assume we'd get some backstory resolved, but by the time we saw them again Kakashi had forgiven everything. What the hell, where's the story? It had no bearing on the main plot but if it was brought up it should've been explained. Eh…
I'm actually looking forward to when Sasuke gets to Konoha to see how awkward it gets. "Well that was easy, let's go home", but then Naruto will appear and say "Sasuke! Your home is right here!" Exciting stuff.. Maybe Team Gai will do something as well!
-
So, we wait so long for an explanation of the Rinnegan's power and in the end Kishi just uses it as a convenient Deus ex Machina. Oh, and LOL at the flowers. So who wants to wager that…
A. Naruto will give the flowers to Hinata in a genuinely touching and romantic moment, or...
B. Hinata sees Naruto carrying the flowers believing them to be for her, resulting in a wildly awkward and comedic scene and a possible fainting from her.
C. Kishi remembers that he had Neji running towards the scene 5 or 6 chapters ago. Neji arrives and assumes the flowers are for HIM, thus unleashing feeling of "he is the same as me" within Neji, who realizes on the spot that all this time HE has been in love with Naruto and confesses such loudly, much like Hinata did 10 chapters ago.
3 seconds later, that one Orichimaru minion from part 1 shows up again and stabs Neji through the chest again, killing him. Again.
Moments later, Choji arrives and accidentally chokes on his suicide pill that he mistook for a sweet tart.
Sasuke, watching this from afar, realizes that these two noble heroes sacrificed their lives trying to save him (four years ago) sheerly out of loyalty to the leaf village and not any real attachment to him, and touched and moved by their sacrifice, he abandons his plans to destroy Konohoa, turning over a new/old leaf.
Upon doing this, a genjutsu that was placed upon him fades and his brother Itachi walks up behind him and hugs him, saying now that Sasuke has embraced the true ideals of the leaf village, he can be happy and Itachi no longer needs have his own death faked.
400 miles away, Orochimaru's cells finish taking over Kibito and Orochi is fully reborn (again).
600 miles away, Juraiaya wakes up with a really bad hangover. He wasn't dead, just really, really drunk.
Shortly after, Gaara returns and breaks Rock Lee's legs again for fun in a mutually agreed upon sparring match, since Lee isn't really using them for anything. At that point, the series proceeds as if it were back on volume 18 and like none of this ever happened.
And then we get to page 3 of the chapter.
-
HAHAHAHAHA, that is legen… wait for it... DARY
-
"Hey Mom! Kishimoto has just dropped the price of death! It's super cheap now!"
"Really? We were just running out, better stock up while we can." -
Oh robby, why must you one up me? LOL, because you're epic that's why

Why aren't you actually writing the story for Naruto? That's a million times better than what we've seen. Then again…not even a genjutsu is a good enough excuse for the 10 minutes of my life I wasted by reading the last two months' chapters. Facepalm.
I'm half hoping now that Ackbar is going to pop up, go "It's a trap!" when talking about the flowers, then they blow up in some strange flashy-ninja explosion. Naruto dies (hurr), and then Nagato comes out of nowhere and goes "Fooled you!"...A girl can dream, right?
'Course, sasugay should die first. Whiny bitch.

So there we have it.
The justification for Naruto not killing someone.
Why the fuck did every mangaka become a self-righteous piece of shit where they won't let their characters kill?
I mean god….DAMN!!!!!
This whole cycle of putrid shit-vomit started when Goku killed Buu but asked for him to come back.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Since then, lead series have had characters that will not kill no matter what!
They're so high on their moral horses I'm surprised they can reach the writing tables.
What's the justification this time? Well, by NOT killing him, everyone gets revived.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Why did he do this?
Because that way, his own characters could die by a (yes indeed) DEM.
That's a fuckin' DEM my friends.
Same with that bone fucker.
"Oh but he was sick!"
O rly?
At that exact moment? Nope. That was yet another excuse so that he could make a pure character.
If the world was like mangaka try to convey, every sneering villain would cause their own death moments before committing genocide (here it comes) MAKING THE ACTIONS LEADING UP TO THAT MOMENT USELESS.
I'm just livid with their lack of balls in that department.
I don't need to see Luffy kill someone.
I didn't NEED to see Ichigo finish off that androgynous helmet fuck.
Naruto didn't need to kill this radio bastard.
But the fact that the authors REFUSE to let their characters kill because of their own 'perfect' morals that they want to convey is sickening.

Oh, for the halcyon days of yore.
-
ah the good old days.
Now let's apply some logic of today's mangaka.
"Kenshiro didn't kill bad-guys.
They were already dead."
holy damn… when I think about it...
Kenshiro is the type of character who would have just quickly and brutally dealt with Nagato and Konan
and THEN given them his answer
-
Kenshiro for Hokage.
-
I'm just livid with their lack of balls in that department.
I assumed having the roles models of a story marketed towards younger folks be portrayed as killers just doesn't fly well with the public and the companies. The in-story reasons will seem retarded but it's more of a business decision than anything else.

Well in Luffy's case, it's not like he cares whether his opponent dies or not. he just beats the crud out of him/her. Whether they survive or not, it's none of his business. It's not like he was having moral apprehensions when he smashed into Enel with a 10 ton golden ball.
-

lol
but yeah..omg all back to life..WHAT:blink: it
s just idiotic that PAIN chanced his believes cause of narutos repeating what jiraja said..dohhh but now is even in naruto death like in DB?? just fucking retarted for my taste..iam rly no naruto-hater,iam just addicted to OP..but the last chapters are just bad cause they didn
t follow the story and chance COMPLETELY a chara like PAIN…and dead also is now gone..ohh c`mon iam disappointed in every way..:getlost: -
The revival bit was crap, the return of Sasuke was crap, for the most part the chapter was crap…but at least the dialogue wasn't really that bad. That Jiraiya was right to believe in both of them (even if it lead to this nonsense), Kakashi closing shop with his dad wasn't bad and, for the most part, Konan has quit because she's useless and both her boyfriends are now dead.
-
Naruto:
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.
I believe in Jiraiya.Pain:
I like you. I will revive all your dead friends because I can. That was all. How sad, I hope you all agree with me that this was without a single doubt the worst Naruto chapter until now.
-
I would have appreciated it a bit if Kakshi's campfire chat was extended upon a bit. Geez, he comes to terms with his father and yet we barely see any of it.
Yeah, chapter was pretty bad, though I still want to see Sasuke's face when he finds the Village of the Exposed Crater.
-
0/10, 1/10 if I am feeling generous
Great job Kishi, keep up the good work -
Good thing the Hidden Rain is gonna have a friend in Konoha. They need all the help they can get now that Konan has become the paper tiger in charge.
-
Kenshiro for Hokage.
He's going to appear on the scene, see the people get revived, say "You're already dead!" and, suddenly, the revival will be reversed.
-
I accepted Gara's revival because it seemed like a one time kind of deal, (and if kakashi had used it was justified, he FINALY had copyed something else with the sharingan), and the price was the life of the caster.
Now if konan is to be trusted Pain could have survived this is he was at full chakra, wtf??
The 7th pain was dumb and out of the original samsara belives, but the resurrection power was kind of justified, his bas power is known as the 6 paths of resurection
What can I say of this horrible HORRIBLE cop out besides that I'm glad that kakashi isn't dead?.
-
Well, when Sauske attacks the ruins of the village, he will face Naruto. Naruto will vomit Itachi's crow. Sauske will be overcome with regret. Together they finish off Tobi/Madra. Then they finally help four-eyes overcome Orochimaru. Then they enjoy tea. The end.
-

It was explained in Kakashi Gaiden, Kakashi didn't understand why his father would jeopardize the mission for his friends until he saw first hand how it felt.
I would assume he forgave him way back then, but never had a chance to tell him.
That part made me feel warm inside. The ONLY thing I liked about this chapter.
-

Stretch it out for 3 years cause of Jump editors and add a lot more bullcrap and that essentially explains the rest.
Yeah…I probably got soft because we got a bit more with Kakashi's dad, but this really wasn't how it should have been. Naruto gets a big meeting with his dad, but that's all Kakashi gets with his? Shows how screwed up this series is.
-
I didn't mind Kakashi being alive, but come on he should never have been put in that position in the first place…
-
Well, with all the bad being mentioned already, I'll list what I like. Kakashi and his dad around the fire. That was a nice sentimental scene.
And I greatly like the panel where Jiraya is being yelled t by Naruto. If this was a better manga, that would clearly be an epic scene that brings all the emotion of the time that flashback panel was drawn to now. Unfortunately, that brings up a lot of the crap inbetween.
-

what? side character development in Naruto part 2? nope.
Interviewer: I'm here with Kishimoto, creator of the Manga Naruto. If I understand you control everything in this manga?
Kishi: Absolutely, I'm the boss.Interviewer: Really Now, tell us about an average day in the life of "The Boss".
K: Well the first thing I do is…
Troll my fans! (Like A Boss)
Get Rejected! (Like A Boss)Interviewer: Kishi, so this is an average chapter for you then?
K: No doubtInterviewer: You do an entire arc based on people dying only to bring them back to life?
K: Hell YeahInterviewer: And I remember at some point you tried to give Kakashi some poor excuse of development?
K: nopeInterviewer: I'm pretty sure you did
K: Naw, that ain't me.Someone really should make a Kishi version of that song... Like a Boss

The last 7 to 8 months of Naruto can be read to the sounds of a kazoo and slide whistle.
-
Oooh I would kill to see mangafan and gaaradlucci now here in this thread!
-
-
Let's just revive everyone and reverse irreversible damage. That's sure to destroy any emotion that could have possibly conveyed!
The reason I continue reading is my own stubbornness, but at least it will all be over soon.
jman is still alive and the village is not destroyed. oh wait
-
@robbybevard:
hahaha, great pic man. I wonder how many times they have said "Believe" in the series?
-
-
jman is still alive and the village is not destroyed. oh wait
you seem to think there was some emotion involved with that
-
jman is still alive and the village is not destroyed. oh wait
It'll take a week tops to rebuild the village with mass Kagen Bunshin and wood guy, anyway.
-

He's not dead, just very badly injured. He went to another planet with sven to recover.
-

Jman being dead? How is he going to come back to life?? Pain was their to make Naruto grow up. He knows that just saying that he will bring perace to the world or i will be hokage won't change anhything. Pain pushed naruto to the limits and even caused him to give in to the 9 tails.
-
@robbybevard:
Its been slipping for like 25 volumes now? Why would it suddenly get better? Esecially with Naruto now outclassing every other side character to the poin that they would simply "get in the way?" Especially after this most recent deus ex machina?
Its all boring eyeball powerup fests from here, with little character growth remaining. Especially since Naruto is the default Hokage now, he just doesnt officially have the title yet.
…he never did pass the chunin exams did he? Well, he said at the time he'd suceed even if he remained in the lowest rank, so...
I really didn't want to believe this, but after reading the last chapter I've lost faith in having the story return to its former greatness. I'm still hoping your wrong though, but your probably right?
And with Sasuke possibly making his grand appearance I'm wondering how bad it'll be played out. This next event will be the defining moment whether Naruto will redeem itself or deal the final blow!
-

I think you're missing the fact that this chapter sucked.
-
what? side character development in Naruto part 2? nope.
Kakashi's less a "side-character" and more a "semi-important". A character who does get "some development" (compared to zilch like sides) but never the level of the mains. Gaara and Shikamaru are that level too.
-

No. It was Hinata's saying "I love you" that made Naruto go berserk, Pain had nothing to do with it. Naruto couldn't deal with a woman confessing that she loved him, when he's been waiting so long for Sasuke to say those exact words.
http://www.onemanga.com/Naruto/437/12/
See. look at that expression on his face. Its her love that turned him to fox mode. Not pain.
If she hadn't confessed that right then and there, her "death" probably wouldn't have been enough to trigger his ultimate berserker mode.
Love is the ultimate evil in the Naruto universe.
Hrm. Actually.
That explains a lot.

Yeah I guess so, I was just expecting a few sentences between the before and after. Better than what the other characters got I suppose!
