Basically, den den mushis are just awesome. I would totally own one if possible. They don't need charging and they don't need batteries in the tradition sense, instead they might need a little sleep and food. But I could see it now…I'm hanging around with some friends, there's a typical cellphone ring from my purse, but hold up, let me answer the snail instead.

He is really old. He did say he spend decades on WB's ship since it had the best chance to find his precious DF. Whether he gave Shanks the scar while he was in Roger's crew is open for speculation but I personally doubt it. I wonder if Oda intentionally made his hair cover his face when he parted ways with Buggy.

Since he was keeping a low profile on WB's ship. It's not like he was aiming for a commander spot.

BB's like in his 40s, Ace mentioned that he had like 10 years or something like that when they fought.

BB was already really strong before he ate his DF this is hinted and basically implied when Shanks says BB gave him his scar which was more than 10 years ago.

The reason Ace is BB's superior in that division is cuz BB wants it that way. He purposely laid low in WB's crew and stayed off te radar in order to accomplish his goals. Even Shanks says that BB's been hiding out in WB's crew to WB. He's basically hiding hsi true power until he makes his move.

Hope that clear things up for you. BB has basically lied and hide things from his crew so he wouldn't stand out. Ace was never stronger than him.

Well, since the commander of his division acctualy got the DF it would ofcourse have been easier for him if he was the Commander. But then he wouldnt have been as unknown as he was now. So he decided that it was easier, and safer to be unknown, and then just kill his commander and steal the fruit instead, wich was exactly what he did.So far we've seen 4 Divisions. But since Whitebeard controll alot of Islands there might be more.

Oda really needs to do a storyline focusing on the Whitebeards, and hopefully after Impel Down thats exactly what we'll get. But i want more info on both of their backgrounds and the connections between the two men.

Why would you think that? The rule on WB's ship was whoever finds a DF it is their's no matter the rank and that person can do w/e they want with it. Like I said before BB wanted to lay low he didn't want to become a division commander, he didn't want to stick out to the public as a pirate to early.

We know Shanks is 37 now and we also know that Roger split the crew 1 year before his death (23 years ago). That makes Shanks 14 when the crew split and 15 when he witnessed his captain's execution.

If you don't know where it says Shanks' age, it is in the Volume 4 SBS (Chapter 27).

admiral won't but a shichibukai would get the bounty but deduct the percentage for not bringing him alive and a further 10% because he's a shichibukai

It's just the way they say hello. If you go to foreign islands or other countries that are tourists spots they'll still greet you in their native tongue. It was just Oda's way of making Skypeia that much more believable in for the most part making it appear as a paradise along with how nice the ppl are.

I've read the rules, but judging from a previous topic about a lack of a chapter this week, there are apparently some other unspoken rules that aren't in the main rules topic, or are looser translations of the rules than one might expect.

well, i dont know exactly how tall luffy is, so its hard to say. looking at the shiki color spread, shes about as tall as mihawk, if that helps…
