The thing that upsets me about this chapter isn't the whole BS surrounding Star and Toriko being Froese's twins, or Toriko being more emotional over seeing his appetite than his long-lost brother and rival dying, or why God released only one of Toriko's 3 demons. I mean, that stuff is also stupid, but what really riles me up is how we were robbed of what should've been another epic moment in the story for the sake of getting a power-up for a boss fight that NOBODY has any reason to care about at this point. Namely, Toriko eating God. Y'know, the thing Toriko decided would be his main course since, like, over 200 chapters ago? The thing his boyfriend has been working on off-screen for months without a peep? The thing he was waiting to share with the other kings who still haven't been allowed to come back because "bbbbbbrrooooottttheeerrr" nonsense?

Just force fed without even an explanation of how it tastes, because even the main character's dreams and goals are being rushed for the sake of BOSS FIGHT POWER UP. It's like if Luffy got shunted to Raftel by his secret twin brother Smoker and got injected with the power of the One Piece so he could fight some unknown person who turned out to be behind the Void Century and created the Grand Line, and is also Luffy's mom somehow.

Considering the pattern of interruptions, this time with Joie being interrupted, I'm going to assume at this point that Starjun and Toriko are Acacia and Froese's children. It's likely that Joie ate Pair again centuries later and restarted the pregnancy. I'll just assume it's some magic science effect of Pair to put the embryo(es) in stasis.

Though, that would also work for the theory that Komatsu is Froese's child.

Anywho, I'm glad Acacia decided to out himself as a misogynistic asshole on top of all his other bullshit so Midora punching him in the fucking face would be even more cathartic.

The "special announcement" and 10 year time skip make me scared they're going to pull a Boruto with Bleach. Which would be mind-numbing because Ichigo doesn't even have a dream that he could achieve and then ignore his family with.

But the resurgence of Yhwach's reiatsu also makes me scared/excited that his pre-"Ichigo gets stabbed again to get his sword back" threat to come back to kill them when they're at their happiest is going to come true. Excited because it brings the possibility of the ending being that everyone dies, and scared because it will probably kickstart Bleach Nisei and/or will be just as unsatisfying as it was last week.

That awkward feeling where an Aizenism is a welcome change of pace.

Looks like Shimabukuro watched that episode of Futurama where Farnsworth's time machine goes so far forward the universe dies and reforms slightly lower than the previous universe, so he decided that that would be the perfect way to save Acacia NEO.

I'm going to pretend that this "Kubo will end his manga in 10 weeks" isn't a decision on Kubo's part; it's an ultimatum/limit imposed on him by the company. In essence, Jump is so sick of Kubo's bullshit that they're shutting down Bleach in 10 weeks no matter what, so if he wants it to have an ending, he'd better hurry it up.

Meh, no matter what happens in Super, Grandpa "Piccoyo" will always make it superior to GT in my book.

I mean, I still want other awesome stuff to come out of Super and blow GT out of the water; I just can't gush about Grandpa Piccoyo hard enough.
