I say seconds because that need some time to charge the attack.
Ok, its right that Maxim need Enel´s DF, but Poseidon needs Shiroshi power too, if i think is right Shiroshi is just part of the weapon.

Shirahoshi's power is the weapon.
Not to mention something actually capable of destroying the world (if or once she learns how to use it)
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Is Thriller Bark pluton?
It's a ship, it has tons of stron zombies and a powerful pirate on it that are capable of destroying islands..
Pluton is on Alabasta.
!
!
Vivi will Use it to fight against whatever will happen during the Great War that will Engulf the Entire world; off course in support of Luffy. Robin will help uncover it. Franky will help repair/pilot it being someone who had its Blueprints for such a long time.
We can be Sure that Luffy will have the Support of 2 Ancient Weapons during this great war.
So Uranus :ninja:must be something that might fall into the hands of the World Government and it might be the Most Powerful of them.
Or Enel might have it and use it for his personal Gain or ally with the Government for a position or revenge.
@AppleSauce: We don´t know the location of Plution yet. The "Pluton of Alabasta" Robin is referring to means the information on the Poneglyph and not the weapon itself. Crocodile just believes it to be in Alabasta since the Poneglyph itself is there, too. I would say though that it is rather unlikely that it is in Alabasta, seeing how the in Skypeia mentioned weapon "Poseidon" was actually at Fishman Island.
I don't want to Use anime as another example but…... Movie 8 I believe is also where Robin Mentions and Literay says that Pluton is Here.
I'm Sure with all those Reactions Robin had when Reading the Poneglyph at Alabasta and the reaction of Cobra was a easy give away which led Croc to be certain that Pluton is on Alabasta.
http://www1.watchop.com/watch/one-piece-movie-8-english-subbed/
part 3 Start at 16:25 and watch the a few minutes of part 4.
Again I have been reduced to using Anime as evidence but still… The anime fills in further dialogue that the manga didn't use.
Which basically just confirms that Pluton is on Alabasta.
Hey everyone, I had an idea: What if none of us is thinking big enough with respect to Uranus?
What if, instead of the moon, Uranus is the Sun itself? The Sun would be an incredibly destructive force if it could be used by someone. Imagine directing all of that energy instead of letting it fly out in all directions, or perhaps just moving it a little closer to the planet. It would be interesting if Oda played a little with the idea of global warming - it could also explain why the world seems to be nearly all ocean. Could there have been more prominent ice caps that melted due to the Sun, Uranus, being used in the war against the Ancient Kingdom?
I wasn't serious about the Pluton thing guys.

How do you move the Sun…?
you don't, uranus will be a giant magnifying glass. it will turn alabasta into a desert. o wait.
@The:
How do you move the Sun…?
Gravity perhaps?
Gravity perhaps?
To move by gravity they need something that's bigger then their sun
To move by gravity they need something that's bigger then their sun
Can't smaller stars that are more dense have a larger gravitation force then a larger sun with less density
Can't smaller stars that are more dense have a larger gravitation force then a larger sun with less density
Yeah i remembered that after I posted and being part way through a summary of a source for an assessment hadn't been bothered to correct myself.
But for that too happen they would need to find a Black dwarf star or one a lot later on in its life cycle then the OP sun. or a gigantic dense planet.
Or blackbeard I guess.
Anyway this is a really dumb theory.
Just because well, an ancient weapon would obviously be something that could be used by humans.
It can't be some natural phenomenon, that would be like calling the Aqua Laguna or some tornado a weapon.
I suppose there could be some object that can harness the power of the Sun to destroy shit, sure (maybe even move it or whatever).
But then that object would be called the ancient weapon not the Sun itself.
The seakings aren't 'Uranus', it's the mermaid princesses' powers that is the weapon.

Tides influeced by moons - The planet in OP has 6 moons O.o I'm thinking that you might have given me an interesting theory that I am reading far too much into.
Enel secretly plotting the demise of the Straw Hats right after the Skypeia arc
All the way from the moon
I think One piece World has a total of 6 Planets in the Solar System Including earth.
2 planets with their own moons. Earth is one of them and the other one is the one that has a moon attached to it.
That Picture of the One piece world shows this.
So five Planets in the Solar System not including Earth with 2 total moons.
If the Endless Vearth were Uranus, I wouldn't be disappointed. Weatheria is a good guess too, though.
That bubble on the bottom is probably a giant weather ball, that can release a torrent of lightning.
Reminds me of Laputa from that Hayao Miyazaki movie, which was also an ancient weapon.

Still I doubt that Nami could have spent 2 years on a moving ancient weapon without knowing it was in fact a ancient weapon.

To me it appears like the One Piece world still assumes a geocentric model, that is, the earth being at the center of the system as seen in that very picture, although it's a safe bet to assume that this is not an actual representation of how the world is actually build up. We shouldn't take it as evidence for anything, is what I'm trying to say.
Anyway this is a really dumb theory.
You're a dumb theory.
Haha, anyway, you're right about the device that moves/controls the sun being called Uranus as opposed to the sun itself.
But.. what if? I have a sneaking suspicion that I might be on to something here.
Well, if you can find something in the story that had anything to do with your theory, maybe we could all share your suspicions.
Until then…
We shall see, good sir.
Dunno if this has been said before but I have a little theory.
I was just thinking. I remember when Robin asked Rayleigh about the true history and Rayleigh said he knew all about it, but Roger or anyone else who knew at the time were a bit "hasty" so no real action was taken on the information gained. That probably means they didn't have the power to do so or it wasn't the right time. I'm thinking the former, but both in a way.
I think the reason Roger didn't have the ability to do whatever neccesary on knowing the true history is because Roger went searching actively for the poneglyphs (he could write in the ancient language plus he generally seemed to show interest in the history). Luffy is going on his adventure without knowing anything about the void century or the bits of history scattered around the world. But funnily enough he's prevented a plot from a Shichibukai to obtain an ancient weapon, stumbled across a poneglyph in the sky (well he didn't, but he did find it himself and is the first one since Roger to do so), prevented another plot, this time from the WG, to obtain blueprints of an ancient weapon, and finally saving the best for last he's recruited the last descendant of the Ohara scholars as his nakama, who has gone and found another poneglyph on Fishman Island. But these things seemed to happen because Luffy wasn't concious of them his personality would make him a vital factor. Without even knowing it Luffy has attained the power of Poseidon, because he has an ally in Shirahoshi. Maybe in order to make a difference with the information of the rio poneglyph, Luffy has to have the power of the three ancient weapons.
@$abZ:

Well, Can't say anything concerning Uranus yet but, Luffy's arguably got the powers of two ancient weapons with him already.
Pluton- Which is on Alabasta. Robin knows where. Franky once held its blueprints. And Vivi is gonna be the Queen of the land soon.(Cobra looked sick on the latest picture we got of him)And she is Luffy's Semi-Nakama.
Poseidon- Shirahoshi like you Said.
Uranus- Unless Robin Finds another clue to its whereabouts that might hint us to believe that Luffy could also have its power. We can assume that it might fall into the hands of Enel. Uranus Is most likely in the Sky.
Maybe we might have another Sky Island Adventure? there are multiple sky Islands.
We can be Certain that the World Government doesn't have it. Because of the entire CP9 arc and Tom-san story. If they had it they would have used it to end the Pirate age.

Maybe to be effective the weapons need to be used together not individually, so One Piece could be a crucial key in being able to use all three, maybe Roger found this clue/ key but couldnt use it as it would appear he wouldn't have seen the poneglyph in Alabasta and Shirahoshi not being alive when he sailed (i believe they said the sea king queen only gets born every few hundred years in mermaid form?)
I'm not saying that the weapons are useless by themselves but they are most effective when all used together.

Hmm… I don't think that's likely.
These Weapons are Separate weapons used by Different races. Most likely against each other. So I don't think They need to together to be effective.
!
! I think If we Examine these paints carefully we might get closer to an answer.
"Thanks to lack of Resources they came to earth" and Most likey used Uranus + their advance tech(they are Using robot even back than) to fight against Pluton and Poseidon.
Also Notice that the First Picture they are Going for war.
The second Picture they are all Crying. Not just the moon people but winged people and Fishman too, all of them are sad.
Maybe leaving.
The Two races of Winged people, and Fishman seem to have lost and forced to Leave. Thats why Sky island is a Huge myth on earth and Fishman are Treated like Fish. They are Taboo's.
So the big Question here is What Role did Humans(non-winged people) play into this.???
The current government won thats for sure. Are they aliens or are they humans?
Are they from the five planets that are in the solar system besides earth?
What Role did the "D's" play into this battle.
Are Human's(non-winged people) so many and divided that the current government if they are aliens couldn't get full control of them?
Have they wiped all the history to hide the fact that They are really not Humans and forced and made a Group of earth dwellers to Leave?
You know I never fully realized this before.
But the civilization(s) that existed before the lost century would have been more technologically advanced than even the current one.
That's exciting as hell.
Looking at that picture, it looks like the winged people descended to earth by balloons!
Quick question, how do we know there are 2 races of winged people? I understand there are some smaller and larger winged guys, but looking at the above pictures they all seem like they are part of the same tribe. Can anyone clarify this?
I thought the one in the middle represents Fishman but he has wings. Plus his on the moon in the first picture creating robots. So his not a Fishman.
Looking at it closely again makes it look like that all the winged people are the Same but the only Physical difference is the shape of their wings.
So 3 Tribes of Winged People come to earth because they used up all the resources of the moon.
Skypieans - are the ones with the antenna
Shandians - are the ones with the Chief Indian(fish) hat.
Birkans - are the ones with wide wings.
Skypieans originate from the moon, along with the Bilkans and Shandorians leaving behind their friends the Spaceys. When resources on the moon were used up they, along with the Shandorians and Bilkan, moved to the Blue Seas. At some point the three races separated and became what they are today.
We know that Shandorians were on land.
Skypieans and Birkans are on Sky Island.
Neither of them Went back to the Moon because everything their is used up.
Shandora was built in 402 AOS by the Shandorians, the ancestors of the Shandians. During the Void Century, Shandora fell to the Alliance that would soon become the World Government. The Shandorians fought to protect their poneglyph. After the Void Century, Shandora crumbled to ruins but the Shandians continued to guard the city.[1]
In 1122 AOS, Montblanc Noland visited the city. In 1127 AOS, Shandora along with the half of Jaya was shot up to Skypiea. Shandora was under the Skypieans' control for the past four hundred years while the Shandians fought to take back Upper Yard.
More on the Alliance.
800 years ago, an Ancient Alliance was formed by the kings of Twenty Kingdoms. During the Void Century, they fought against the Ancient Kingdom and successfully overthrew it. First mentioned by Clover as the "enemy" of the Ancient Kingdom or simply an Ancient Alliance, they were fully explained later by Pappug.[5] Why or how the Twenty Kingdoms overthrew the Ancient Kingdom is a mystery. After that, they banned research on the Poneglyph and set their headquarters in Mariejois.
Eventually, by 800 A.O.S. the Alliance became the World Government. Due to this, the twenty kings leading the war against the Ancient Kingdom were referred as the "creators" of the world. The World Nobles, also known as the Celestial Dragons, are direct descendants of these twenty kings. As such, these Nobles possess the authority to do as they please, simply due to their heritage.
Treaty with Fishman Island
202 years ago, the World Government signed a treaty with the monarchy of Fishman Island, in an attempt to bridge the gap between the races, and the king of the island was permitted to attend the Reverie. The institution of slavery was also prohibited as a sign of good faith on the World Government's part.
Age of the Pirates
In 1500 AOS, Pirate King Gol D. Roger turns himself in to the World Government though they claim to have captured him and execute him before the public. His death however sparked the Great Pirate Age.
Buster Call
In 1502 AOS, the World Government sent the Buster Call to wipe out Ohara. They accused the scholars of trying to recover the Ancient Weapons and spread lies around the world when in reality they never cared about it. The World Government used that excuse to hide the fact that the scholars of Ohara were researching the Void Century. Nico Robin was the only survivor of Ohara and was hated by the brainwashed world, who believed that she would kill them all. Nico Robin grew up hating the World Government and is determined to find out what happened during the missing 100 years.[2]
The "Ancient Kingdom", whose name remains a mystery, was a kingdom said to be enormous, prosperous, and powerful. It was likely an enemy of the Twenty Kingdoms (what is now the World Government), as implied by Professor Clover, and was seemingly utterly destroyed by them over eight hundred years ago at the end of the Void Century. In fact, it seems their defeat allowed the Ancient Alliance to truly become the World Government. Furthermore, it is the real reason the World Government has banned any Poneglyph related research as the mere "existence and idea of this kingdom presents a threat to (the) World Government".[1]
The "Ancient Kingdom" was first mentioned by Professor Clover amid the impending destruction of Ohara as he explained to the Gorosei that he knew why they are afraid of the events during the Void Century, as it would surely speak of this kingdom said to hold mighty power and ideals which, if discovered, posed a threat to the World Government.
Knowing it might lose the war and that all other information would eventually be destroyed by their enemies, the kingdom arranged for their writings to be carved onto indestructible stones, the Poneglyphs, as a means of passing messages on to future generations. Sure enough, the World Government later banned any research of the Poneglyphs and methodically erased the information on the "Ancient Kingdom" from all historical records and texts. The Poneglyphs are now the only remaining source of information on the "Ancient Kingdom" or the Void Century.
As the Poneglyphs are considered indestructible, the fact that this "Ancient Kingdom" was able to not only create, but also shape and carve them, gives a small insight into the potential technology and abilities they had. The Poneglyphs so far have revealed information on the three Ancient Weapons, all of which are capable of mass destruction on a global scale. It may be possible that the people of this kingdom were somehow involved in the design and/or creation of these enormously powerful weapons. Again, this suggests that, as a people, they may have been significantly advanced in technology.
It is unknown why knowledge of this kingdom is a threat to the World Government. Professor Clover seemed certain that the history of the kingdom held the key to the answer to that and other pertinent questions. However, before Clover could say the kingdom's name, he was shot. Further information has yet to be revealed.
so….. If you read all that. We can Guess that the Ancient Kingdom 'Might' be the people who came from the moon. Even with all that advanced Technology they lost to The Alliance.
The Shandorians fought to protect their poneglyph. After the Void Century, Shandora crumbled to ruins but the Shandians continued to guard the city. While the other 2 tribes went to sky island.
I hate the wiki, but the way you put everything is very interesting. And finally you are the only other person i've seen that understands that all the winged people came from the moon, some stayed in the clouds while others went further down to the ocean. The tribes separated and basically just forgot about each other. It is the most logical way to explain why Kalgara and his tribe already had wings before they were launched in the sky.
Dude you really put it into perspective for me! First the balloons and now I clearly see there are 3 different tribes, one with a head dress, one with little antennae, and one with large wings! In this regard maybe I was the only one oblivious!
By the way has anyone figured out why Eneru doesn't have wings? or does his ring thing replace his wings?
well because his not a descendent of the moon people. Just an average human who ended up on sky Island.
well because his not a descendent of the moon people. Just an average human who ended up on sky Island.
Ahah i see.
Now back on topic, how come people are saying the ancient weapons belonged to 3 different civilizations?
Well… Poseidon is obviously a mermaid. So that power belongs to Fishman. Underwater.
Pluton was invented on water 7 and now resides at Alabasta. Made by Humans on land.
And Last but not least. Uranus Most likely created by the Moon people who use to reside on the moon. Sky.
Poseidon is god of Ocean
Pluto, is also know as Hades god of the underworld or in this case Land.
Uranus was the primeval god of the sky
But the big Question that comes up is.
Why did the Ancient kingdom know of the locations of these weapons and inscribed them onto indestructible Stones?
Are the moon people the Ancient Kingdom???
Or are the Ancient Kingdom Ancestors of the "D's"?
Or are the "D's" not categorized by Blood but by Will?
There are Giants with the Initial "D". Does that mean that the "D's" don't have to be actual Descendent of the Ancient Kingdom, but by Will? Like Whitebeard claims that Roger is waiting for a certain man with the initial D. He noted that Teach is not the one who is carrying "Roger's Will" which also includes "Ace's will" and that one day it will be picked up by another.
Was Poseidon(fishman) Allied with the Alliance(WG) Or the Ancient Kingdom?
Was Pluton a Means created by the Alliance(WG) to fight against the Ancient kingdom or was Pluton used by the Ancient Kingdom or their Allies?
Was Uranus(Moon people) Used to Defend the Ancient Kingdom? or against them.
From What we can deduct so far with what we have is that.
1. Fishman were most likely allied with The ancient kingdom due to the harsh treatment they receive from the descendents of the victors of that war.
2. Moon People are the Ancient kingdom OR they were allied with them due to the Shandorians fighting to protect their poneglyph.
So Pluton must be What the Alliance(WG) used to fight against this Ancient Kingdom + Moon people and Fishman.
Yet the Ancient Kingdom Knows the location of Pluton. Makes things complicated.
Now back on topic, how come people are saying the ancient weapons belonged to 3 different civilizations?
Because Pluton belonged to the humans of Water 7, and Poseidon belonged the fishfolk of Fishman Island.
EDIT: Ninja'd so hard.

Its funny how in the second spoiler it says "The name of the moon city was Bilka". Enels home island was called Bilka.
hey, you just have to read the cover story to know it. Its been years.
I've known this for years. The only thing I didn't catch was that each of the characters on the ancient drawings were a different type of winged person.
What I was referring to was the fact that people say Oda messed up by giving Kalgara's tribe wings. When it was very clear to me the moment these cover stories were shown they were all once part of the same nation.
well because his not a descendent of the moon people. Just an average human who ended up on sky Island.
Are you sure? I think in a databook Enel was a Birkan who just exchanged his wings for drums instead.
Are you sure? I think in a databook Enel was a Birkan who just exchanged his wings for drums instead.
^^^This.
The leader of the White Berets says at one point: "I won't let Skypea become another Birka" and when another white berets asks about it he says that Birka was the skyisland where Enel was born and that he later destroyed. I don't know about the drums though. Also another point against that Enel is a random average human is that he didn't know what rubber was becuase there is no such thing as rubber in the sky.
Birka was the skyisland where Enel was born and that he later destroyed.
I was wondering why nobody talks about Birka, LOL. I didn't know that Enel destroyed it.
Speaking of which, does anyone know which sky race Urouge belongs to?

He has the same wings as the Bilkans, however when Oda drew him as a child he gave him the Skypeans hairstyle and wings. He probably did a mistake there.

Maybe not, it seems very deliberate to me.
Its funny how in the second spoiler it says "The name of the moon city was Bilka". Enels home island was called Bilka.
There is an ancient city on the moon named Bilka, The city's name on Sky Island is same as The one Enel was Born on, Bilka.
When Each tree tribe came to the Blue sea they separated and named each city after their own tribes name.
The Skypieans named their city Skypiea
The Shandians named their city Shandora
The Birkans(Bilkans) named their city Birka(Bilka)
So maybe we can assume that the more dominant of three tribes might be the Bilkans since their original city on the moon was named after them. Not in terms of Strength but Status.
Are you sure? I think in a databook Enel was a Birkan who just exchanged his wings for drums instead.
Enel was born on Bilka and Raised there. He Destroyed Bilka 8 years before Strawhats came to Skypiea. I couldn't find this info you mentioned about the databook.
@Waboshi:

Those drums and ring attached to his back, instead of the regular Skypiean/Bilkan wings, which gives him an appearance similar to a Raijin(ThunderGod).
Since Enel is kinda deformed, He might be a case that was born without wings and Huge earlobes, so he could be a descendent of the moon people. But I still Doubt this, There are pirates coming to sky island as well and orphans all over the One Piece world, He could be born on Bilka but to a Pirate couple…. or Maybe Enel is a half breed or just Deformed.
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
If we make a Proper time line we can put things into perspective better.
Lets Use The Moon people coming to earth as the beginning.
The three tribes come to the earth, do they split up yet or not we can't be sure. But lets say that they did, since so far we only know that Shandora was built on Land and Bilka and Skypiea was built on the Clouds.
Shandora was built in the year 402
Shandora Fell in the year 722 during the void Century, Along with the Ancient Kingdom.
The void Century is a 100 year Void.
So all the Problems didn't start until 220 years after The Shandians settled down on the Blue sea.
At this Time The Ancient Kingdom was the Most powerful nation and the Super power of the time.(The "D's")
The Shandora must have been their allies along with Fishman.
So Poseidon and Uranus was used to protect Ancient Kingdom, but after their defeat they engraved the history on indestructible stones and Hid the Weapons.
an Ancient Alliance was formed by the kings of Twenty Kingdoms. During the Void Century, they fought against the Ancient Kingdom and successfully overthrew it. The Alliance became the World Government. Due to this, the twenty kings leading the war against the Ancient Kingdom were referred as the "creators" of the world. Which Kingdoms were part of this Alliance?
Was Alabasta part of this?
Were they friend or foe of the Ancient Kingdom?
How would Pluton fit into all of this?
Since Enel is kinda deformed, He might be a case that was born without wings and Huge earlobes, so he could be a descendent of the moon people.
Enel gave himself those huge earlobes. A lot of native cultures IRL utilize body manipulation.
when was confirmed that pluton was in alabasta?
in alabasta there was the poneglyph with its location, not the ship itself
