Well, Peter's parents were spies in the comics, so… if spies 30 years ago is the angle of they're going for it could work I guess. (Though Marvel is already doing Agent Carter) But doing it for Aunt May... not so much.

Really Sony... just hand the keys to Spidey over and let the Marvel guys who know what they're doing handle the character, let him interact in the Marvel U... and you guys fund the movies and then split the profits accordingly. Everyone wins that way.

Gee Sony knows exactly what I always wanted for a Marvel Super Hero movie. CLEARLY I always wanted to see a solo Auntie May movie instead of you know…a potential solo Venom movie (which wouldn't be as good anyway but...yeah it would probably be far more interesting than an Aunt May movie).

Though to be completely honest, I wouldn't have minded if DC/Warner did a solo young Alfred movie

Although there's really few new footage, I'm happy to finally see the Korean actress in the trailer along with other Avengers.
I hope she has a reasonably important role that the makers are trying to not reveal too much.

warner bros used to deliver good superman and batman movies! then they got overly super hooky with the two last Christopher reeves superman movies and the god awful batman and robin movies…. then to make up for it they make every super hero super dark, depressing and nolan like, because it worked for nolans batman series.... not understanding the difference between batman and characters like superman, flash, and shazam, because sorry to burst your bubble warner bros. if you couldn't tell by man of steel's extremely lousy reviews and mediocre ticket sales.... No one wants to see a super dark and depressing superman, flash, shazam, or wonder woman movie... because we know that's where your going

and even the x-men are more like wolverine and his amazing friends movies, the characters aren't anything like there comic book counter parts. Ice man isn't hilarious comic relief whose child like and has immense untapped potential that he can't use because he's lazy (which in the comics is like an analogy for a person with extreme intelligence or skill to go far in life but is to lazy to do anything with it), Haley Barry's storm is a stale and wooden portrayal of the badass that is Ororro Monroe (and where's the cool god complex that leaks out occasionally), Beast isn't super quirky and lovable and charming with a flair of mad scientist about him, shadow cat... let's see, they got marvel x-men comic book writers to make a list of the top 50 x-men of all time and she was #1 (ahead of wolverine cyclops etc.) and they've got an extremely talented actress ellen page playing her, yet if I asked most people who watch the x-men movies who she is they probably wouldn't have a clue, colossus has only spoken two words with in three movies, rouge has all the melodrama that comes without being able to touch anyone but none of the tough badass southern girl flair, and night crawler was deprssed and sulky not super outgoing and flamboyant

hell even hugh jackmans wolverine (which is awesome) isn't really representative of the real comic books wolverine, wolverine in the comics is like a damn ninja who's got samurai and ninja training as well as worked as a covert assassin for decades for the government, hugh jackmans wolverine is just a guy with sharp claws who cuts stuff, he's never really shown battle expertise or immense skill at assassination, more just like what you'd expect of your average bar fighter had you given him wolverine's powers... and he needs more beer jokes like in the comics

sony just got to understanding that spiderman actually makes jokes and quips in these last two movies (lol) and now they've canceled a venom movie to give us an aunt may movie... so yeah there's that

and the reason marvel studios is different, and in my opinion, better than the rest, is because at the end of the day, they are a sub section of disney that only handles in comic book based movies. Well for other companies it's mostly about making money and producing what they think will get them the highest pay check with said characters, for the people in marvel studios, like kevin feige and his group literally only work on these types of movies, produce them for fans like themselves, they love the characters and really really want to tell their stories the way they should be told, not just for a pay check (don't get me wrong they want the pay check to) because they now what fans like them want the characters to be like. I just think there's more heart in it overall, that's why out of the list of over 40 super hero movies over the next 6 years announced from the studios I bet you marvel is the only one to keep every title on their list

Honestly goes like this for me

Avenger 3: part 1 and 2 (huge fan of the avengers since elementary school, can't take the fan boy out this late)
guardians of the galaxy 2 (he did sooooo amazing with the last one I can't wait to see what happens with this one
Captain America 3 (basically avengers 2.5 but with the avengers fighting each other…. I can dig it)
antman/Inhumans/captain marvel (equally excited for all of them... maybe inhumans a little more though, since marvel's two best movies so far have been team movies)
Black Panther/doctor strange (can't decide on which... though I'm thinking doctor strage might be better based on how humor could be added more easily into his movie and marvel excels at that)
thor 3 (the thor movies have been fun to watch but nothing amazing in my mind)

I've been hoping that for a time now, really with Days of Future Past, only see they timed the setting of the going back to a time Kitty wasn't able to go (think they said it was before she was born) so they used the cash cow Wolverine in her place as going back.
Hell giving her the power to be the one to make it possible still didn't make it up to me.

I am selfish, I want a strong role for Kitty, as a main character, not a support role!

I don't care how he was done in the comics. I'm solely talking about the movies. The only good thing about the Fantastic Four movies in my opinion is Dr. Doom. That's all I'm saying. Thus the Major changes comment said about Dr. Doom makes me think they don't know what they are doing again. Dr. Doom may be shitty compared to the comics, I don't know. But doing major changes to the only good thing in a movie is not a good sign imo. They need to make major changes to other parts of the movie. It wasn't DR. Doom dragging down the movies.

don't most people just hate him because of his fan base? who I'm guessing over hype his talent because of the sherlock homes show (which in his defense is fucking awesome). That being said, he does seem to be an incredibly talented actor, and in everything I've seen him in he just seems to have fun and be a nice guy, haven't heard any rumors or reasons as to why people dislike him

so I'm excited, plus I can't wait to see how he mingles with the avengers crowd both in the infinity war movies and off set at comic-con, because let's face it they seem like a ridiculously fun bunch, especially RDJ and Jeremy Reener, they seemed to have a litle bromance thing going on at comic-con, so excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Rudd, and hopefully Yvonne Strahovski (or Katee Sackhoff) as captain Marvel

The only big name Cap villain that comes to mind (who hasn't been used yet) is Baron Zemo, but then again, I'm not overly familiar with Captain America, so maybe someone else would make more sense.

That was Baron Strucker. I think he's generally Nick Fury's arch-enemy. Baron Zemo was Captain America's main enemy in the early issues of the Avengers (the first Baron Zemo is the one who "killed" Bucky, though he was killed off in issue 15 of the Avengers; he had a son who became the second Baron Zemo, but I'm not sure what's going on with him). It's understandable to get them mixed up; I can't recall if they mentioned Strucker's name in Captain America 2, and they're both barons who work for Hydra.
