I care about the effectiveness of the poison scene? No?
Truth be told, this whole poison ordeal wasn't much better than that magic tumor that got resolved equally fast in Fairy Tail. If I was critical of FT, it's only fair I criticise other works for doing nearly the same thing.
Well, since it certainly seems like Reiju genuinely cares about Sanji, it'd be cool if it turned out that she was the one who helped him leave the rest of their family. Granted, he could have snuck away on his own (we don't know the situation yet), but if he did have help getting away, I hope it was from her. Somehow I'm guessing it was not from his snot of a little brother.

I'm not sure why Luffy's sudden poisoning from a random fish needed a difficult/drawn out resolution? Then he would have stayed out of the fray for a while as is usual due to an unfavorable predicament in previous arcs. This circumvented that rather quickly and I'm glad.

So Sanji's brother is a knucklehead and his sister is hot. Hmm. I just really ponder what his dad looks like. Is he ripped/slim? Is he bald? What number/name will he be? I feel like the reveal of his dad will be a epic moment, although it will be built up to hell. Really interested in the rest of Germa 66 and their true intentions with the Straw Hats and Sanji. Also wonder what Jinbe is playing at….whose side will he end up on? Does he also have they balls to defy a Yonko well?

I stopped Fairy Tail a while ago not because I thought it was bad (though it probably kinda was) but because I have a habit of not finishing things. But this magic tumor intrigues me… Because I don't remember it happening in what I read. Or was it anime filler perhaps?

! So, after using a shitload of magic against an opponent, Natsu suddenly gets ill and is bedridden. It turns out, a tumor started growing inside his body, due to magic overuse and stuff. And you know how Natsu likes to go overboard. Anyway, in the same chapter, or the next one, magic tumor is resolved by an enemy woman mage who FT captured previously. Because her ability is convenient to deal with it in a way that doesn't hurt Natsu.
Should sound familiar even when I left it mostly vague.
The Luffy poison thing is as I said, if this were a less fun-loving series I'd be angry every time something like this happened, but in this case it was clearly just played for laughs and just there to introduce Sanji's family. Luffy's probably never going to face "serious" consequences and grow when it comes to stuff like this. That's the kind of series OP is.

I was annoyed with the Sanji nosebleed thing in Fishman Island for example. Suddenly it took a serious turn, when that aspect could've been introduced in a much better way.
After so many days finally we had an One Piece chapter. This instantly makes life better!
And not only we get a chapter but it's a very interesting progress chapter as well. Despite not much happening, we got introduced to Sanji's brother and sister which i thought was very unlikely (to happen so fast after teasing us with his eyebrow closeup) and still we got not only the expected brother but an enexpected sister as well! Lovely.
I Also get the feeling this is gonna end in a good family reunion for some reason. Maybe they become antagonist (The whole Germa66) for the marriage not to be broken and all that, but after Huge Moma stuff is settled i see them becoming allies and ending the story with some warm family reunion or so. I Also anticipate that Sanji will have to fiercly fight either his Oldest brother or his Father towards the conclusion of this arc. Some of the Sanji family will want him to leave and do what he likes with his friends whilst the Father and some else will want to force this wedding down his throat or what-so-ever.
Good chapter, can't wait next week. Hopefully we turn to Tamago/Sanji stuff!!
Cool chapter. What do you Luffy wasn't out of the way because of fights but to show off a new character. I'm curious if where Sanji's other brothers are and if he has any other younger siblings. I'd also image he has some grandparents and parents hanging around. It seems like Vinsmokes have pretty deep backstory. Bring on the political intrigue.

Man, love the designs of Yonji and Reiju! I like how Yonji is lecherous like his older brother, Sanji and it will be hilarious if the other older brothers have that too, maybe the dad as well! Reiju, I have to admit, she is freaking hot and so kindhearted. Can't wait to see the rest of the Vinsmoke Family!
Anyway, I love how Reiju explains a bit of detail about how Sanji left the family at a young age and his father is searching for him. Really intrigues me to see how the relationship between Sanji and his father. Why Sanji left the family? What makes him hated his father? I get the feeling it was because of Sanji's mom, she wasn't mentioned in any of the recent chapters after the reveal of Sanji's family and the Germa 66 so that could be the reason?

Thats my issue, and with that as the payoff, thats why the many pages (almost half of this chapter) devoted to the poison situation fall flat for me.

I wonder if Sanji's sister is a DF user. But we already have Magellan and Caesar for poisons so probably not and just a showing of this advance military science.

It looks like Reiju has stolen everybody's hearts. I for one didn't expect for Sanji to have a sister, and now I am really happy he does. And I have a even bigger feeling she will be getting a lot of fan art out of all of his siblings, and fanboys/fangirls.

1. Why Vinsmoke stopped ruling North Blue?
-I wonder what the good translations will hold for us. But Vinsmock = royalty is a given, sure, I'd like to know if them losing their territories was more political or ancient weapon type of deal. Does this confirm at least 1 Vinsmock at the Reverie?
2. How did Nami knew it is the little brother. Because of the naming?
Plus his face. The ones that didn't recognize him after he clarified are the silly members of the squad.
3. Holy damn shit this technology is awesome…
-Hopefully someone from the crew adapts Germa's technology into their weaponry. I'd laugh if they give us a panel of all the DF users from the Strawhats, water skating to a fight.

6. Now the the biggest part… What is the plan behind Big Mom and the Vinsmokes... We learned about the technology Big Mom wants but I doubg the WG would be ok with it.
I think that the Vinsmokes may try to backstab the WG for whatever reasons but this is where Sanji comes into the play.
We asked why Sanji and not simply one of the other brothers... Sanji is a wanted pirate... So him getting married to Pudding could be seen as simply a pirate alliance between the SHs and Big Mom... The Vinsmoke could pretend to know shit about it while still working with the Big Mom
Now that they are royalty with no home, I would have to think how would that develop. Trying to figure out the reason why they lost their home could lead us to know what are they trying to accomplish now. An easy objective would be to recover their land.

Anyways, yeah, I think that the whole "poison" plot point was a bit silly; kinda like a simple gag that suddenly becomes treated seriously. Like Sanji's nosebleed on Fishman Island. Where that one was to show the rocky relationship between humans and fishmen, while this one is to introduce us to Sanji's family.

I guess Reiju is some kind of zoan. There are animals that can eat poison. I just googled around a bit and found the Fire-bellied snake. It is an animal capable of eating the "golden poison dart frog", a type of frog with a very potent toxin on it's skin:

the wg seems to have a lot of background characters. Wonder why the germa 66 seemingly an enemy of the WG has this much pull. I know the stories were fictitious but it's still strange for them to be this closely tied. And also strange that sanji's dad had so much power.
I assume it's b/c their technology is so advance that they wanted the germa…..so many vegapunk is tied to them. Oh man if vegapunk is related to the vinsmoke somehow that'd be pretty interesting.
Also, I wonder if why they chose to side with a yonkou at this point. If they were so intimately connected with the WG are they shedding all their ties if they are becoming blood related to big mam's crew.

definitely a DF. My guess is the first ever insect zoan. Some insects can eat poisonous plants easily, I think that or frog. Her cloths kind of give a hint of it.

I didn't like the design of Yonji and Reiju. They look like recycled Sanji. Even with keeping eyebrow pattern,it could have been more original.

The whole Poison situation fell rather flat for me.
Luffy being super-poisoned out of the blue is rather convenient considering his high tolerance, but I can deal with it.
Everyone stopping everything for the sake of Character Introduction is par for the course, and using the aforementioned poison scenario to facilitate such an introduction is fair enough.
But everyone stopping everything to gawk at Super Smexy Sanji Sister conveniently frenching the convenient poison out of Luffy, and Chopper screaming about his ineffectiveness as a doctor? Yeeeeeeeaaah not a fan. Considering all else she does is spout exposition and be Calm Intelligent Woman to compliment Hotblooded Thuggish Man, I'm not really won over to Reiju as a character. Yonji seems alright, but I wish the pervyness wasn't hereditary. Theres gonna be soooooooooooo many heart eyes this arc isn't there.Considering most of the chapter is the poison situation and exposition, I didn't care particularly for it. I'm glad we're getting around to re-introducing Jinbei though; Sanji seems to have claimed the position of emotional center of the arc for now, but Jinbe deserves that distinction too. He's going to be a crewmember after all.
I rather agree with you. Once again Chopper is useless as a doctor. The poison which many people thought would incapacitate Luffy for a while is magically cured the next chapter. Also the end of the chapter feels weird. We are enemies but since I saved your boss, let's do as if nothing happened.
The history of Sanji family looks interesting at least and I'm curious to know more. It is funny that they put their royal castle on their ship :-)

Most people jumped on that hate train somewhere around the middle of Dressrosa.
I kind of understand why in that Dressrosa was so long and people were suffering from arc fatigue but ever since Zou I feel like One Piece is back on top of its game.
- First time to see Luffy with "…......" Bubble. I thought that Oda said Luffy will always speak up of what he think.
- So Sanji's father is looking for him all the time, does not sound super evil to me instead a feeling of fatherly love. Will he just say okay if Sanji refuse to marry Puding?
- Only Sanji's eyebrow so far that doesn't shape like 6, is it special sign or just mean defect.

There's gotta be a reason as to why Sanji hated his father and it has something to do back when he was at a young age. Maybe possibly Sanji's mom? Sanji loses his mom and it's all because of his father which led Sanji to ran away from home? Because so far, we learn that the family was led by his father but there was no mention about his mother.

While Sanji's sister does seem nicer than his brother I'm not sure about the Vinsmoke becoming allies. I mean Sanji did leave his family for a reason and I don't see papa vinsmoke being the type to reconcile with his son. Besides I know some people were also prediciting that the Vinsmokes and Germa 66 are going to be the big bads of the Whole cake island arc.
