well the part of not knowing about the underworld makes total sense..sanji moved away from his family has a child ,and they were still in north blue..it wouldn't make sense for him to know new world's affairs@Kizuchan:

It felt kinda wierd for me to call Sanji a noble for these few chapters now because we've never 100% had the confirmation on that (mostly just an assumption based on him being called a prince/being Mr. Prince), so looks like there was some truth to that.
Though, it isn't 100% confirmed that the Vinsmokes aren't a noble family. They can be a assassin family of nobles with ties to the underground. No matter which, I'm still very interested in how this all will come together.

Chopper's parts reminded me what I originally enjoyed about the character. Felt like he was getting sidelined too often, so it's nice to see him interacting with an awkward patient this week and showcasing some personality outside of adorable mascot character.

I loved that Luffy stated Sanji leaving the crew would be worse to him than becoming Big Mam's underling. For an ambitious man whose whole goal of becoming the Pirate King is to become the man with the most freedom in the world, I think that speaks wonders of how he feels about all of his crewmates in a way far more subtle and powerful than we usually see.

Obligatory mention of Nekomamushi being far more entertaining than I was expecting him to be too. Guy is equal parts hilarious and badass.

We're still seeing only a narrow facet of OP world. Just because our main characters are pirates fighting pirates in a pirate infested sea so they could become top pirates, doesn't mean the world is all about pirates.

There are bounties for wanted people, but you don't use assassins to kill wanted criminals. You use them to take out problems or to clear the way. So, kings, competition, rebellion leaders, influential traders etc.

My only gripe is that there was no single mention of anything like an assassination clan or assassinations other than from CP. But who knows, maybe some of the mentioned deaths in OP were the result of a contract with Sanji's family.

Maybe " Moria's death " is a being of Sanji's family ?

But to me, it seems that killing a king, or leader or etc… Is part of the pirate's job, or the Revolutionary Army in extreme cases
So you're right, we have only see a fact of this world, but you can't deny this worl is ruled by pirates, who oppose the marine, the latter being ruled by the Gouvernement who is in charge due to some infamous actions 900years ago, against probably what they called pirates [ D family etc… ]
But to me, Assassins seems weird , maybe they are more like " cleaner ", they clean the mess made by pirates/Yonkô/marines whatever to look like there is nothing to worry about, THAT seems more realistic to me

Very interesting to have Assassins brought up in the story, I recall someone asking what's the point of having Bounty's when there aren't strong Bounty Hunters to take out the Criminals. But now that Assassins are in the picture wouldn't they count as bounty hunters ? And since the Vinsmoke family are infamous I'm assuming they obviously must be fairly strong. I liked the small argument Nami and Zoro had different view points, Zoro makes a pretty good argument of the situation they'll have to think things through before moving forward.

Zoro's just being an idiot. Did he forget Luffy already declared war on Big Mom? Or that Big Mom wants Caesar? And now wants Sanji? That's 3 reasons for Big Mom to attack the strawhats. Sanji isn't "starting" anything with another yonkou, it was already happening since fishman island. Hell even if they beat capone, all that would mean is bigmom sends bobbins and her other "calamities equivalents" there next, maybe even herself and the vinsmoke assassins. Then the minks and the crew would die. There was no avoiding this situation, especially since curlyhats were stuck waiting for the rest of the crew to return.

basiclaly,for "normal" pirates the marines can handle themselves and put a bounty autonomously..but for special cases the wg,to which they are still basically employee,can tell them to put new bounties or modify new ones.

To me it just seemed like random pirates who attacked with poisoned weapons. The Rumbar pirates weren't a crew too dangerous.

Baroque Works was a assassin and bounty hunting organization. Robin was an assassin herself. Hyousou(the fishmen swordman defeated by Zoro), Yeti cool brothers and the Funk Brothers were also all Assassins.
CP isn't an assassination clan, in fact they are an Intelligence Agency, just like CIA. CP9 was the section of the Agency that was specialized in Assassination.

well there's still a big difference between how hard kaidou would be looking for them the moment he knows they took down doflamingo and how really big mom was looking for them and had beef with them
don't forget that capone and pekoms mission was still "retrieve caesar and sanji"..nothing about killing the other members of the crew..something kaidou would definitely do.
of course this would change if they go to the lion's den and mess directly with her affairs.

Zoro isn't being stupid he's actually thinking(he's been pretty intelligent lately since the time-skip). He's making a point that there are also other Big Dogs who they have on there backs currently,.they choose a fight with Kaido by crushing Doffy. Now that Sanji wandered off they have to go get him back while being targeted by Kaido/Jack.

It's official, Nekomusashi is best character of this arc. Doesn't matter what happens from here on out, nothing can top how he was in this chapter. Being a boss and understanding Sanji and company's situation when Capone left, then immediately after making a promise like a boss he jumps towards "catnip". Then we see him chilling in a bath with not a care in the world, but hates shots. Robin gets a chance to play with his which was adorable. I was laughing and grinning the entire time he was on screen. Also that Garfield reference. Funny that I love this guy so much when I am a cat hater.

As for the rest of the chapter it was a nice a relaxed chapter. Seeing the strawhats talk about stuff and seeing differences in opinion. Chopper getting flustered was a nice touch. One thing that confuses me is Pedro though. The way we saw him in the forest earlier showed him being unhappy, but now he's acting all chummy. Did Oda just drop that or does Pedro put on that act in front of people but in secret doesn't like the strawhats?

Luffy himself was the one that picked a fight with 2 yonkous at the same time. He challenges Big mom, then he talked with law to take down Kaidou. They also send her a bomb and they had CC and attacked her ship. Kaidou is focused more to capture Doflamingo then the Straw Hats, not just kill them because they did something to him.

As long as the tea party and her daughter don't have a groom, then Big mom as we saw her overreact about some candy would hunt them down.

If Sanji goes to wedding they would be at peace with big mom and maybe even Kaidou would stay away from them if they found out they joined big mom.

If Kaidou kills the SH now, he won't get Doflamingo back. AS we saw, his interest is to take back Doflamingo and he also picked a war with other 4-5 supernovas( kid, killer, apoo, Hawkins, Urouge)

My thoughts exactly Manju, I think Sanji might be putting to much on his plate maybe he could have negotiated with Capone to hold out until his Captain arrives to work as a crew to meet Big Mom (how much days passed anyways ? and how much is left until the Tea party). Also I think Choppy is 17 now so he's almost an adult in human years.

Nekomushi is straight OG. Can't wait 'til he meets Luffy. They'll probably argue and fight, seeing how similar they are… but end up fighting as a team, what a badass duo they'd be. Luffy going to need strong allies now that he's angered two Yonko... did't take him long. Plus Luffy is on Blackbeard's radar and has promised a fight with Shanks. This plotline so far interests me more than Dressrosa... I reckon Oda wanted to get Dressrosa out the way to this point where things really get deeper into the search for One Piece.

he was not unhappy,it's his mouth that it's curved downward,it still is in this chapter like it was when it was first showed in the shadows
