Is the chapter coming tomorrow, a day early if spoilers are already out? Also, my cousin told me that she had heard that Oda apparently started watching Game of Thrones. The Thrones quote from Doflamingo then just makes so much sense.
Maybe Oda will change the way he writes epic dialogue and include alot more mature themes from now on then? Game of Thrones inspires us, all things considered.

If you ask him about it (like a lot of fans have over the years and he specifically addresses this in the SBS) he will tell you that his target audience are teenage boys and apparently teenage boys like very big chested women.
Don't see nothing wrong with it, but my issue is how Robin and Nami have almost become peripheral figures since the timeskip, maybe those breast enlargements are weighing them down in which case I'd agree with you and prefer them how they were pre-timeskip.

Uhm. No. I'd say for berisβ¦I tend to imagine it's the same as yen. Meaning Beris/bellys/etc=Japanese yen. So to know the true worth of a beri, simply convert it from yen to USD.
The unit doesn't matter as long as it remains consistent through the calculation. You can divide all the GDP estimates by 100 to convert to USD, but then you need to divide the bounties by 100 too. They cancel out, meaning that the estimate of bounties payable doesn't change after the conversion.
To examine it from the opposite end, let's suppose that bounties for the Yonkou and Dragon are the highest suggested (2.5B for Dragon, 1-2B for each Yonkou) for an estimated total of 10B for all five. Suppose also that all their crews were captured, and that the sum of the bounties of those crew members is double the ratio of the Strawhat crew:captain ratio. That is, the Strawhat crew is worth ~1B to Luffy's 500M, so let's estimate that the sum of each crew listed is worth about four times the leader. That means, given our 10 billion estimate, that if the four Yonkou, all their crews, and all the Revolutionaries were caught, their total worth would be about $50 billion beri ($500M USD).
Using Sparsebeard's original conservative estimates of a 5% tax rate and an average monthly income of $50,000 beri (or $500 USD), that translates to an average $2,500 beri tax per person per month. In order to pay out the largest possible bounties of all the Yonkou, their crews, and the Revolutionaries with that monthly tax income per person, the World Government would need to be taxing 20 million people to pay it off in a month. Remember that there are slightly over 170 countries in the WG, which means there would need to be, on average, ~117,000 people per country in order to make it work. That's tiny. Like really tiny. Like around the population of Grenada tiny. For comparison, recall that Alabasta, admittedly a larger country, had 1 million soldiers fighting in it.
It's safe to say that even the biggest bounties are a drop in the bucket to the World Government.

Even though I may find the overly voluptuous women of the series a bit too much ( especially since every female in the series look like a supermodel now ). I think he has always had a near flawless knack for character expressions and facial features. I've never noticed a regression in this matter, neither with the enviroments or details in general.

I'm not sure how to express the difference, but I actually agree. I think Skypiea was the peak, and I definitely think characters used to be more expressive. Again, I really don't know what seems to make the difference.

I just said that the line has nothing to do with it because it's a bad translation. And the fact mentioned above that the "Battle for the Top" has been around since the beginning of the series.

Not to be super nitpicky, but how they are drawn doesn't equate to having more or less personality, that's in the dialogue and actions.

I actually meant to say that Oda's drawing style had more personality back then and that it's more generic now.
However i think the way a character is drawn defines his personality in a strong way.

I do trust Powermanga more than Mangastream. When translating, a translator takes many things into consideration: context, polysemy, imagery, and other things.
I just wanted to know the reasons why each of them ended with a different translation, and I did thanks to Tsukai.

γγ³εγ lacks a dictionary entry I can direct you to, but if you look in a Japanese thesaurus, all the options given are words meaning to forcibly steal from someone (εΌ·ηγ«ζΌγε ₯γ, η₯ε₯ͺγγ, εΌ·ε₯ͺγγ etc.)
I'm not really sure how Mangastream got the translation they ended up with, unless they simply weren't familiar with the term.
