One Piece Kaizoku Musou 3 [PS3/PS4/PSVita]

It takes time to press and ship games. They have to be done at this point and just testing.

There might be time to add in a new move if it premiers this week or next in the manga, and obviously there are probably plenty of characters they just haven't announced yet, but nothing new will actually be made at this point, they'll have finalized their roster 6 months ago. Sabo getting the fire fruit in chapter 750 seems a likely cutoff point for those decisions.

That said, even if Bart is in the game, (If the popularity poll had hit a month or two sooner I'd say it was a sure thing… but he'll definitely be in 4) I don't think they'd bother doing that last minute new move for him the same way they would for Luffy or Zoro. Maaaaaaybe Robin's new move since she so rarely gets anything, and if they already have next week's chapter to work from.

If this game is as thorough as is appears it's going to be there will probably be different versions of characters from different areas of the story, for example, East Blue Luffy this version of Luffy would consist of techniques he knew between Captain Morgan arc and the Baratie.

Point is perhaps a second version of Barto could be added as DLC.

she still wields her mace so that will be apart of it. she will also probably be pretty mobile via her slip slip fruit powers

I just hope that Alvida and Tashigi are at least fun to play as.

Robin and Hancock are the only decent female characters to use in PW2 that aren't a chore and have a nice area-of-effect.

I think I remember the devs saying they plan to REALLY expand the roster for this game, and Alvida about one of the last people I'd expect to make it in (if she is indeed playable which I'm really hoping she is) so I'm not ruling out anybody at this point. My expectations for new playables are pretty darn high right now tbh. I might be setting myself up for disappointment, but oh well. I wanna see Moria, Hina, Coby, Ghin, Magellan, Sadi-chan, Shanks, Shilliew, Burgess, Koala, Vivi, most of Baroque Works, Foxy, Van Der Decken, Caribou, All the Supernovas (or at least Kid's alliance + X Drake since those guys are fairly relevant these days), Bepo, Ryuma, Shiki and Zephyr, Bart and Cabbage, Rayleigh, Ivankov, Inazuma, the top 3 of CP9, I could go on and on. I know realistically most of these guys dont have a chance in hell of making it in, but that's what wishlists are for right.

I second Shanks not sure who else to expect I know a lot of people want Foxy but GOD that guy is annoying! Hopefully everyone has already preordered there copies.

超新星, or Super Rookie. Good eye, though. Maybe we'll get a few more supernova, or even Cavendish/Bart.

Awakening mode in PW2 was pretty fun but it was horribly balanced

they kinda have the obligation to increase the number of playable women chars and i think that's why they decided to go with hancock for the first game and perona for the 2nd even though there are other more reasonable char that should be playable before them. i guess they're going with alvida and tashigi this time. i was hoping for monet. logias are fun to play as.

Wait a second! Awakening mode was one of the game's best features. It enabled you to cause ridiculous amounts of damage to your opponents for a short amount of time– a perfect idea that albeit a teeny weeny bit imbalanced was worth its money. Scratching that would be nothing short of a crime.

Basically it just shows off all of the east blue arc without the loguetown stuff. So i guess we now move onto Baroque works and the hopeful whiskey peak level and playable Vivi (please).

I find it funny that it's apparently too much work for them to change the clothes on four CG models. I guess they're special Koei-designed costumes that they have to use for the Musou series.
Or they're just lazy.

pretty weird with the outfits, it's gonna be pretty immersion breaking for east blue, but hey the game is on pc now so i won't complain too much.

The ones bolded are too new to be in the game.

Red Hawk Gatling is a game-only technique in the same vein as Elephant Storm or Giant Jet Gatling.

Follows the story. No platforming levels (though I'd love that if it was handled well), only Musou-levels and possibly Bossfight-levels. Big roster. Improved combat.

These are the things I'm seeing signs of and might shape it up to be the PW-game I've wanted. Almost like a combination of the first and second game, that is.
The storytelling could turn out to be underwhelming depending on the style but that's something I can deal with if the rest of it is fine, it is a Musou-game after all.

It's got my attention for now. Interested to see just how much we'll be getting in terms of locations and playable characters.

Its a Koei anime recap game. They'll recreate a couple key moments, but overall the storytelling is going to be awful, incredibly abridged, and incomprehensible to anyone not already familiar with the story. Its how these things go.

I think that if Fat Alvida was going to appear on a gameplay stage they would have shown her in these last few scans, which showed basically all of the East Blue.
She may appear as some sort of illustration or head-model (like Rayleigh appeared in PW1) in story-mode but I wouldn't hold my breath for anything more than that.

I agree 100% I don't think theres a need for her especially since we have her after she ate the devil fruit.
