Soooo… We STILL didn't merge the Fairy Tail thread with this one?
Naruto and Bleach IV- Sexy time

@Aru:
Soooo… We STILL didn't merge the Fairy Tail thread with this one?
I asked this in a past thread. IIRC, it isn't merged because enough people take it seriously.
-

I think that's all the more reason to merge it.
Especially because Hiro Mashima is ten times as terrible as either Kubo or Kishi. -
Stop mocking Bleach, it's one of the greatest pieces of art in my collection, and has a super deep meaning to it that you tools probably cannot grasp with your small minds… Naruto, on the other hand, is just terrible. I mean, the whole premise of ninjas using magic techniques? That's laughable, boring and so unimaginative. I do like the contrasting personalities of Naruto and his nemesis Sasuke, though, I think the portrayal of their rivalry is the only thing that keeps this manga alive in Shonen Jump.
You, sir, seem to have an IQ of at least 180.
@Aru:Soooo… We STILL didn't merge the Fairy Tail thread with this one?
The one thing FT has still going for it is its art (mostly the parts involving Lucy's upper body and ass) so in my book it's better than the accumulation of shit these two other series have to offer.
-

Especially because Hiro Mashima is ten times as terrible as either Kubo or Kishi. That's the reason why NOT merge it. Kishi and Kubo deserve better than that. They once had some talent and passion. Kishimoto can (reportedly) tap it whenever it doesn't have to do with emo ninjas.

This is a joke about fanservice right. Because his art is not how you say, good.
I'm fairly certain he is completely unaware of the concept of line weight.
-
Wasn't it because Fairy Tail is so much more bland and empty than Shonen Jack Suck Duo that we didn't merge them into a single unholy mess of refuse.
-

At the very least his art is better than Kishimoto's. Like I've said once before, generic as fuck but still better. Concerning the story, I couldn't care less about either.
-

The fanservice is mediocre. Just like everything else in FT. The series is so tepid that we can't even bothered to treat it with the same vitriolic disdain that we feel for Ble-ruto. At least those two are awful in an interesting car crash kind of way.
-
But, guys, the only reason I'm still reading Bleach and Naruto is because I want to get all of the jokes in this thread every week. Maybe I'd start reading FT (instead of looking at the pictures to see how much boobs did they cramp in) if we added it in?
-

I like the fanservice :ninja:

While it would be nice to have all trash in the one can, I personally would not want Fairy Fail throwned into this already volatile thread. Naruto and Bleach are both fallen series, both lost their motivation and story's are in complete mess but they still manage to amuse time in time if zero expectations are kept.
Fairy Tail? Its fucking bland, annoying and pain in the ass to read…it has most unlikable main hero ever, plot is same in every damn arc...''Big bad is sooo evul, Natsu uses power of asspull and FRIENDSHIP to beat them''. I can be mildly amused reading Naruto and Bleach but Fairy Tail is just so fucking bad and stupid that I dont want to hear even insults on that damn series.
Let Fairy Tail be contained in its own thread so its pestilence can be safely avoided without further harm.
-
Fairy Tail was never good enough to produce the dissapointment that Naruto and Bleach does.
Just let the FT threads sink to the depthes of the OtherManga threads already. -

-
Naruto has its continued betrayal of themes, characters and payoffs.
Bleach has unmeasurable pretentiousness and a black abyss of narrative cohesiveness.
More fun topics of mockery than FT, which at best can provoke groans of "soooo coooorny", "soooo underwhelming" or "NOT THE PRETEEN GIRL, JESUS CHRIST HIRO"
-
As for Bleach, no doubt about the "black" part… ink black abyss, I'd say.
-
Early Bleach just seems more and more absurd the longer the series goes on.
Hollow-attack prediction software.
Urahara gets shipments of stuff from SS.
Hollow Bounty system.
Quincies walking around in the open, their existence acknowledged.
Ichigo vows bloody vengeance on Grand Fisher
Chad, Orihime and Ichigos classmate show promise as characters
Renji is introduced as a horrible "I'm here to take Rukia in for execution for ridiculously petty reasons, die filthy human, Yaaaaay!" asshole, despite being her oldest friend, and growing up in anti-shinigami rukongai.
Hilarious stuff.

This raises an interesting question: if a work's theme is 'betrayal', and it proceeds to betray that theme, has it, really?
-
@Panda:

Wow…this blew my mind. All this time Kishi actually utilized a theme and carried through to the extent that he broke the 4th wall and betrayed MY expectations I had for the serie? My god...Kishi is a freaking genius.
-

Fuck. My mind. Why would you do this?

That's why you need an IQ of at least 180. I see…

Yeah, you simpletons! :P finally someone gets me.
-
MY INTERNET IS FUCKING SHITTY.I've been trying to write this post 10 times already!
Also. No.
If the theme of Kishi's Magnum Opus Nardo was betrayal it would still be a major fail. Why? BECAUSE IT CANT EVEN HANDLE THAT. Glossy Blacks Redemption shits all over that.
Now if the theme actually was "Betrayal Of Themes Within A Work Of Fiction" Kishi would prove himself to be a master of theme writing.

And if that's what he was doing… by betraying it? :ninja:

my… what kind of collection do you have?

my… what kind of collection do you have?
A person with Bleach in their collection considered a great piece of art (not talkin' about Juvar 'cause I know he's being satirical) is probably all over our modern art. I went to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and while some of the stuff was legitimate, there were things like, literally, a wall being hit by an airsoft gun… once. That is the type of art a Bleach fan would appreciate. And I imagine a true Bleach fan's family photos are all individual close-ups of everyone being shocked, and it'd be one of those awkward family photos where they're stuck in the void of whiteness. Picture of their kid playing ball with the family dog? The ball has disappeared into the void of the background.

my… what kind of collection do you have?
It's made up of a limited laminated luminiferous special unique signed and personally issued collection of the greatest mangas of all time, including Bleach, Naruto, Fairy Tail, and Gantz. Furthermore I am in the possession of Meyer's only fully written copy of the so far unreleased 5th part of the grand Twilight saga, which features her daughter in a struggle between finding her place in a surrounding of vampires, werewolves and humans - for she is all, but neither. Very similar to the latest magnificent twist that the grandmaster Kubo Tite created in his bestselling piece of art, where Ichigo struggles to fit into the newest addition to his racial mix, the Quincies… in a way, this seems to be as an attempt to promote and teach racial acceptance and equality to every population, so that humans everywhere can be accepting of every race.

And also a lot of this^ in my collection!
Plus, I have this framed opposite my bed. It's the first thing I see each morning and dictates my way of life.
My most priced possession, even more so than the limited laminated Bleach copies.!

My most priced possession, even more so than the limited laminated Bleach copies.First, it's really funny that we both had similar ideas for our posts and posted them both at the exact same minute.
Second, I'm glad to see that you support Nic Cage. It's truly a marvel of modern puppetry that a character like Nicolas can even exist and be so convincing. I mean, do people think he's real with all these constant movie roles? Here's the video explaining it all.

That's…. fascinating. To say the least. Wow :P

This video… Man, this video... It is the single greatest thing I have stumbled upon in my 14 years of using the internet. Truly, a masterpiece.

Has anyone seen this link in regards to the concept of Bijuu and Jinchuriki and how it didn't exist back in Part 1, and the evolution of Akatsuki?

"(anyone remember that the Saiyan's were originally equal partners of a race called the Arcosians who used them to conquer planets for resale, rather than oppressed and overshadowed flunkies of galactic overlord Frieza?)"
No, what the fuck is this guy saying.
-
That was anime filler.

Actually… it's true.
http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Arcosian
But yeah, filler.
-
That was anime filler.
Yeah that's what I thought lol.
People can analyze the original source material and know all the real names of things for Naruto and One Piece.
But they still act like the fucking original Funimation dub anime of Dragonball is the end all be all of that franchise.
It's fucking bullshit. -

No, what the fuck is this guy saying.
"Kyuubi no Kitsune"
I couldn't read any futher, I was scared there would be more unnecessary japanese weebo names.
-
It was his/her attitude to criticism which did it for me.
-
Although the guy is right about Shukaku originally being a priest instead of some beast, IIRC.
-
Spoilers for the next chapter are out
! Apparently Rin and Kushina died on the same day, and that day is TODAY! (the war in Naruto's world)
-
I actually love how Sage mode is coming back. They gave him the transformation but did little to nothing with it.
