Violet and Rebecca aren't going to join.
Violet won't join, since it seems she is the first in line for the succession to the throne of dressrosa.
Rebecca will probably not join too,she will want to stay with her father.
I don't see the SHs getting any more nakamas, but I think they will get many powerful allies from this arc.

Where does it say that Violet is first in line for the throne. If anything, Rebecca will get the throne.

I think viola(violet) is one of king riku's daughter.
I've oddly become fond of the Devil Fruit numbers theory. Which is to say, Kuma somehow ending up as a Strawhat.

Kinemon also fits the theory.

Could you refresh my memory on the number theory regarding the SH df numbers?
Could you refresh my memory on the number theory regarding the SH df numbers?
Basically the straw hat DFs all consist of two syllables repeated (Go-Mu, Ha-Na, etc.). All 8 of those syllables line up with a Japanese number system, and so all their DFs can represent 2-digit numbers. There are 8 distinct digits between the crew so far, and the last two digits can be represented by Kuma's DF (along with some other ones, as the number system in question has multiple ways of representing each number). A "Clothes Clothes" fruit like what Kinemon seems to have also fits this pattern.
The biggest reason people think this is more than a coincidence is that when you add the numbers of the 4 current SH DFs and the fifth one, you get 325, which in that same system comes out phonetically as "Sunny-Go"

So the digits we are missing are 4/9??

I think its 9 and 2 (I don't remember the actual system name or the individual SH numbers. Someone who knows Japanese could tell you though)

By now you should know that that thread never stay in-topic for too long.
Rebecca looks identical to Nami with the helmet off.
She's NOT joining.
If anything, the link below has her specifically saying the wants to live Soldier-san when all of this is over.

It's a good idea in stories to attribute theories to inane autistic coding and not narrative ideas.

I don't know much about the Japanese numbering and DF naming system…but I could write a book about Kuma fanboyism...so I love this.
Has anyone considered, that Vegapunk could be the next strawhat?

Person who can make DF - Has insane Knowledge and ability to make insanely powerful weapons beyond Frankys ability?
Yeah that sounds like a good plan - His fighting style could be like Dr Bosconovitch from Tekken.
Has anyone suggested Sentomaru?

I'm glad we agree on this!
Oh yeah, I always forget him.
I kinda thought about it and I think it would be cool if Momo joined and Chopper made special rumble balls for him giving him extra forms
Do y'all think that there is anything that Monet could do or hide to make her a viable candidate for Straw Hat next crew member? Maybe like she actually has her own secret agenda against Doflamingo or a triple agent working for a better cause?
In short…can she be redeemed?
Are you suggesting another Robin?

I am surprised at how folks tend to forget that Monet is a psychopathic child poisoning maniac.

No?

I didn't forget…just curious on how redeemable her character is. And her actions say sadistic but maybe there is a twist into WHY she did what she did with the kids. That is what I am getting at. Could there be any reason that she gives or any circumstance that she is going through that would more or less forgive her actions?

Um…HOW can you redeem someone that poisons kids? Have a scene where her mother was eaten alive by cannibal children in a Dressrossa flashback?

Hey…it could happen.
But I am just asking the question. I don't particular believe that she will be next crew member. Her character will probably be explained more before this arc is finished and got me thinking what type of person is she really. We don't know much about her besides her time we saw in Punk Hazard. Her being another Robin is a disadvantage so something would have to be presented/added to her personality to offset her and Robin making her unique.

LOL! Well even then that wouldn't be redeemable.
Do we know FOR SURE that she actually gave the children the bad drug candy? Perhaps she only gave them good candy or non lethal amounts of the drug. I know I am reaching here but figured a new disapproving topic for whatever nakama would spice this thread up.

No, she gave them pretend candy. The children poisoned themselves.

What?! I stated if she gave them candy that didn't have the drug in it? You know…the ol' switch-a-roo. Still candy...just not poison.
Pretend candy?! What the hell is that...a vegetable?
Can we talk about Violet, Baby 5 and Wicca joining instead? They didn't poison children.
(Although who knows what those dwarves do in their spare time)

The children going into drug withdrawal was an actual story beat. Why else were they rampaging, screaming for candy?

Is it so hard for people to believe that she's just evil? We have seen exactly nothing that indicates she is anything other than a loyal minion of the current arc villain. Hell the current chapter name-drop means that she was a trusted agent of DD 10 years ago. That means she has had years of proactive service including poisoning kids and infiltrating a royal palace to help frame its king for multiple murders.
Making her some sort of double agent now would be a complete ass-pull. I mean, there were plenty of times during PH where she could have helped the good guys by just not being so effective. Hell, the ENTIRE REASON Law's original plan was messed up was because she followed him to his meeting with Luffy, and then ratted him out to Ceaser and DD, let alone the fact that she was willing to BLOW HERSELF UP TO HELP DOFLAMINGO.

Loyalty to Dofla, sadistic nature, she was sent into a state of mental shambles from Zoro's sheer fighting will, and every other possible reason you could think of. Don't quote me on this but I vaguely remember an interview where Oda said no SH would ever fly, though I could easily be wrong.
For the poison candy incident alone she is irredeemable, so in summary, no.

Alright alright. I just asked the question. I am not in the Monet for nakama bandwagon. I was on the she could possibly join if her character development was strong enough before the whole drug candy was introduced bandwagon. I was just curious on if she could actually be redeemed even a little bit. Hell, we got people in this forum liking Ceasar Clown more because of his facial expressions and personality.
You bring up her ratting out Law but then what about her probably helping Chopper? That has yet to be explained. She is more than likely alive from the snow bunnies in the ocean and this being a shounen.

Now…I like this answer. I heard the whole no fly thing too via internet but no real source on where it came from. Mental shambles...Law? Are you saying she can't recover from it? Do you think Zoro couldn't do the same thing to any other Straw Hat if they were enemies?

Well she could probably recover, but my point was that because of the intensity of that fright it would take a great amount of effort to simply live/adventure with the source of that fear, not to mention all the other obvious reasons.
As for Zoro doing the same to other SHs… my personal opinion is that, due to the amount of emotional trauma, trials and tribulations that the crew has gone through, he wouldn't be able to do the same. This is because of the, and I loathe to use the word, resolve of the crew's fighting will, and their determination to support Luffy.

Of course they did. They were given drug candy by Ceasar and his henchman. Monet…more than likely did as well but I am just asking if the possibility of her not giving them the drug candy exists.

Maybe that fear turns into admiration…then romance?! LoL...I kid...I kid.
Hmmm...well Zoro is a scary cat. That's 1970's American slang for those outside the states. Usopp does have a yellow belly...though he showed courage taking on Luffy. I see your "resolve" point.
So you guys, you like snow ahh

But but… she had one line of dialogue with Law that could indicate she's flirtatious and playful! That overrides everything else, surely!
Regardless, she'll still get a fresh start whenever her coverstory comes around and she opens a pet shop or becomes an astronomer or ends up on the moon with Enel or something.

She didn't do anything of the sort. Law (whose powers were fully functional at the time) gave Chopper the note to stay put.

Oda is usually pretty straight forward with things like that though. After Law reveals he switched the handcuffs, he would have said something about Chopper but he never does. All it would take is one line of dialogue.

You mean like having a panel showing Law concentrating, right before an object appears out of thin air (with a sound effect) right on top of Chopper, right before Law says he has a plan for a counter attack, after having gotten the villain to monologue his plans,? … while Monet hadn't even been in the scene for a dozen pages, and doesn't appear again for another 5 chapters?
There is ZERO indication that Monet had anything to do with the note, or that she even saw Chopper.
The only reason anyone even half believes it is because the week he chapter came out, newkama crowd ASSUMED it was Monet based on the fact everyone else was tied up and she was the only villain unnacounted for... which we leaned a chapter later wasn't the case for Law. There was nothing in the visuals or dialogue to present the idea at all, I don't know how that misconception has managed to keep such a life of its own based on absolutely nothing.
(Nevermind that a few chapters later she became child poisoning giant toothy monster beast)
Why would Oda need to clear up something that was never presented to the audience in any way? Law said "My handcuffs weren't sea stone, I had my Room" and we know how his powers work. Why does it need any more elaboration? WHy does he have to disprove a thing about Monet... that was never there in the first place? He only presented the Law solution, and it explains it just fine.

It's not so much that he needs to disprove Monet…but it's pretty unclear that Law did it. What's the point of keeping it ambiguous? We're talking about the man that felt the need to clear up the S on Ace's tattoo stood for Sabo, Absa was short for Absalom, and Bepo drew the map with the bearpaw print on it. Oda always clears up things that aren't explained directly.

The point of keeping it ambiguous was so to not reveal Law still had his powers until a scene later, so there could still be drama going on about a)the big guns being hopeless and b) what was Chopper going to do. The second it was revealed what Law could do, it lost all ambiguity.
Every one of your examples are things he showcased in SBS when asked directly about them, about little details that had no real bearing on the story that are bonuses that you might have missed as a casual reader(as opposed to plot points) and were not drawn attention to in the actual pages.
What Law did wasn't unclear to anyone except people putting in extra information that didn't exist, it didn't need clearing up. So it was only confusing… this thread, basically.
